If you are there to sit and sip, you go up to the register and start a tab. They give you a lil' hotel key looking card that is attached to the tab you started. And then you self-serve around via the contraptions holding the available wines for tasting. You insert the card, select the wine you want a pour of, and what volume of the wine you want dispensed in to your glass. The machines show you what each amount of each variety costs and you get as much as you want when you want. It is fun and convenient, and then you get to sit and sit at some tables set among the quantities of wine available for purchase. When you are done, you go up to the register to tally up and close out. They have a good variety and range of wines available for tasting and purchase, red and white, dry to sweet. The staff is friendly and happy to answer any questions or steer you in a direction you might be interested in going. We had a delightful time here and I would absolutely return for a visit on a future trip to Savannah!

We then went to a lady who gave us three wines to try and she was so pleasant, funny and kind! Also the other people who were there to try the wines were great too! After we tried three wines, we went to another lady to try three more wines! She was just as kind and funny! We were also given light snacks and water to have as we tried the wines. We were also given so much facts about the wines we were tasting and we learned so much! The inside is beautiful and it really does feel like you're in a wine cellar. The atmosphere had that quiet, almost sacred energy where you can actually take your time and explore. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the store worker--genuinely knowledgeable without being pushy, and clearly someone who loved books for real. They asked a few thoughtful questions, then pointed me toward recommendations that were spot-on, like they understood exactly what I didn't even know I was looking for. The owner was a very nice man and offered to let us try some of their top sellers, which were a summer peach blend and a wine shine. We purchased the summer peach blend right away and planned to drink it on our trip. We came back a second time and purchased a few more bottles including the wine shine. The owner was very knowledgeable about his products and even sold us on a red Zinfandel called 1000 Stories just by the way he described it. Savannah is a city of many small businesses and this place is one of the good ones. I would highly recommend this place for any fans of wine and anyone looking for souvenirs to bring home as he sells those as well.

I saw a sign for wine and, of course, I knew we had to go in. At first the place was completely empty and then, out of nowhere, this character of a man (whom I assume was the owner) pops up and asks if we are okay. Fast forward and we are having a full on conversation about wine, Savannah, and things to do around the area (since we were visiting). The man gave us some wines to sample and we left the shop with a local blueberry wine. The shop is run by two lovely ladies who are not only incredibly knowledgeable about tea but also entertaining and friendly. I make it a point to stop by every month to restock my favorites and explore new blends. Every visit is a fun experience, and I always look forward to returning.
