This year I've had ridiculous car tire issues I am hoping that this past time is the last time I've got to deal with a car tire issue for quite some time. I may have replaced all 4 of my car tires at some point this year at various gas stations and mechanic shops across the Island from Hewlett to Babylon. On Wednesday I got the second flat tire I've gotten within a short span of a few weeks. I felt the familiar car shake of a flat tire while I was on the parkway so I pulled over in Wantagh, saw my tire was indeed flat and called my good friends at AAA. I got the spare donut tire put on the car and drove to BP. They checked my tire and said I needed a new one which I figured. So they ordered a new tire, I had to wait a day and I bought the car back in on Thursday so they could take care of it. They give me a discount for working at the library which I truly appreciate. As long as I'm working in Hewlett, the good old guys at BP might be turning into my regular mechanics that I deal with.

They also charge a high premium if you want to use a credit card; this is inexcusable. I had noticed the trend hereabouts of gas stations charging for air unless you bought gas. But it never happened to me here in the past. However, today, after a fill-up, I added for the air pump and was directed to a vending machine that required 75¢. Is this even legal?

The navigating and roomy space of the gas station allows you to move around without having to wait to exit the station. Also, the most important, the wide street allows a very easy exit.
