The gym had bleachers although the basketball team staff told us they wouldn't have any. So, there was plenty of seating available for families. The only issue I had was that there was no snack or drink machines there. I know all schools don't have them for their students, but a lot of them that I've been in do. It would've been nice being that they have i9sports games there & there are no concession stands. Parents get parched & hangry being there all day without a little something to wet our whistles & calm our growling stomachs, and we aren't allowed to bring in outside food/drinks.

Our public school continually got rid…read moreof more and more of the "fun stuff" such as music, art, P.E., etc. but Endeavor prioritizes every aspect of learning including the arts, math, science, language arts, character development, life skills such as organization and turning things in on time. Just like at any school, you won't love every single thing about anywhere but Endeavor gives its families very little to complain about. My only word of caution would be that if your child falls outside the range of "normal" or learning in a traditional way, Endeavor might not be the right fit as it does not have the resources to help those kids but I have seen them taking steps to try to improve in this area and hope in the future they'll be able to be more accommodating. Honestly though, our public school refused to do anything to help my daughter despite her having an obvious need so I have zero faith in any school to spend money/resources on the needs of one child. Overall, this really is the best school in Wake County.

This review is a direct result of the behavior in lack of providing information and appropriate…read morecare of my child. I find the increasing prevalence of neglect, dismissive and passive aggressive emotional outtakes are inappropriate and unprofessional. The behavior seems to be initiated by the inconsistent level of care that is being provided as it pertains to inappropriate diapering and lack of re-clothing of my child in an environment prone to constant germ hazards and cool air during the winter months. The level of the neglect has caused a frequent diaper rash and constant viral infections that have resulted in emergency room visits with my child. Upon trying to initiate results driven communications with her providers and the director I have been unable to receive the information that I have requested that would determine the validity of the claims of inappropriate cleanliness and diapering neglect. The facility and claimed higher authorities have been unable to materialize any documentation or video footage upon my request, and in fact neglected to complete an investigation but instead decided to "disenroll" my child as a result of the hearsay and contradictory lies from the campus director. Her classroom teachers were unskilled and emotionally reactive,one in which quit after being questioned about diapering issues. I received an email from an Amy Boyette, a person whom I have never met, alerting me that the cause of my child dismissal is due to hostile behavior and a myriad of other claims of inappropriate behavior in which are completely false,slandering the character of myself and my child's father simply because we are concerned parents. It is also evident that this email was not situational or applicable to the events in question pertaining to my daughter, but instead copied from a previous email that was sent to a different parent claiming events that did not happen with my family. When calling to speak with Ms. Boyette about these discrepancies she had stated that she has no knowledge of my case or issues I was experiencing within the daycare and that no child should have to experience this but still chose to exspell my daughter without investigation of my claims. Ms Boyette also verified that she is the director of another offsite facility who had be contacted to assist in acquiring the video surveillance contradicting that she had no knowledge of the claims in which I am asserting. This place seems to be more about cover-up instead of the true welfare of all children. BEWARE!!!!!

We had a fantastic experience with my son from 2015-2017, but had multiple health, dietary, hygiene, and communication issues with my daughter since the new age 2+ building opened in summer 2017. With the move, there were a number of unannounced changes (e.g., child:teacher ratio increases, less outdoor time, centralized lesson planning). The culture and new rules also seemed more focused on image and profit than on what's best for kids, teachers, and families. Efforts to form a parent advisory group were rebuffed, and there seems to be ongoing tension between the teachers and administrators. Some teachers are excellent, but there are big differences in the experience and practices of the teaching teams from room to room. I'd say it's now comparable to other large chains in the area.

Summer Camp Review: I think the young adult counsellors are not implementing the program as on…read morepaper. Such a disappointment as it really missed the mark. Of course, not all counsellors but the few we experienced have put on movies, and are kinda immature in interacting during parent interaction. Don't get me wrong nobody is mean but the place isn't worth the price at all. YMCA is running laps around Duke School summer camp in terms of fun energy and don't tell me it's educational and cut out half the stated activities b/c suzie q didn't remember.
