This shop used to be half the size it is now. An old Barbour shop has since been bought out and built into to create, well, a larger food store. There is nothing that makes this store worth travelling miles just to see (it is, after all, just a grocer-type place) but when your are here you'll see that it is worthy of it's four stars. It does indeed sell everything you would expect of a convenience store - with a healthy alcohol section (substantial, not necessarily good for you) - but that should only really equate to 3 stars in my eyes.
The fourth star is awarded for the level of cleanliness and the sense of order here at G Express. ALL of the aisles are well stocked with a large variety of goods, neat, tidy well arranged. But the best part of it is that G Express became the first place where it was so clean I could see my own reflection in the floor!
THE FLOOR! Alright, it's not like looking straight into a mirror but the are definite outlines and facial features visible, I could clearly see me - in the floor!
Awesome floor.
That aside, the staff are all quite chilled and friendly and an impressive modern computer system is running there which includes a large flat-screen TV which doubles up as their CCTV when their not watching football or their favourite show.
What a convenience store,
