Rows and rows of plump strawberries ready to covered in oozing delish chocolate.

I love having a future date with the tooth fairy! The viral chocolate covered strawberries are so worth the 6 euros and the long but fast moving line. The strawberries are ripe, juicy and large covered in sweet milk chocolate. Tucked inside Borough Market, it's worth the maze to find the stall. Lime moves very quick because staff has a really efficient process. They sell fresh veggies and other items but the starlight is the strawberries. It's refreshing during the summer heat and be sure to grab a cute burlap tote from here!

Had to try the viral strawberry cups and they were worth the hype. Don't be deterred by the long lines. This place has got queuing down to a science. The lines are very long and wrap all around to the back of the area in a multiple Serpentine manner however they move extremely quick. Getting up to the last corner someone asks how many you want, yells ahead to the people running the tills (multiple of them) where you simply pay and then circle around front to tell the final stop again how many you ordered. They fill the cups with chocolate and pass them off. The cups are perfection. Each of the strawberries are perfectly ripe and they are large. The chocolate is delicious and more than enough to have a good amount with every single bite. Not every viral food lives up to expectations but this absolutely does!

One of the few things here that are hyped up on social media and actually live up to the expectations. Strawberries are so fresh and perfectly ripe. I watched them cut up hundreds of strawberries right behind the counter and place them in cups. The line is long but they sure do move quickly. 8.5 pounds. Yes it is speedy. But you came all the way here, so YOLO. Perfectly ripe and fresh strawberries with a delicious chocolate. I licked up the last bit. It was so good that I came here twice.

This place is for sure overhyped and i recommend not spending your money here. $11.35 is way too expensive for a cup of strawberries with chocolate on top. A lot of my strawberries were already going bad and were mushy, which was a bummer and felt like a ripoff. The chocolate was really good, but you have to eat it fast or it dries up quickly. There's a lot of chocolate at the bottom of the cup to eat, which I did enjoy. The service is super quick and they keep the line moving quickly and efficiently. I wouldn't pay for these again. Another viral internet place.

Why is there ONLY 5 stars on this page?! It's a perfect 10!! Worth the hype. Worth the long travelling distance. Worth the calories. WORTH IT. Run, don't walk there. Run off the calories and get two of them. That good!! Tried the mango OJ, and it was just ok. Just get the chocolate covered strawberries and your taste buds will be dancing in Belgian chocolate!

Famed chocolate covered strawberries! Line moves super fast so don't be intimidated by that. Actual dessert was quite nice, fresh juicy strawberries with decadent chocolate. That being said, nothing you couldn't do on your own and for cheaper. Glad I tried it!

Strawberries are fresh and chocolate is smooth and sweet - 10/10! They are also extremely efficient with line management, they have the rows mapped out and take tap payment before you receive the fruit. The line moves fast and they hurry people out!

I almost skipped the iconic chocolate covered strawberries at Borough Market because I didn't fully understand the hype... These are only 6 euros and a perfect way to conclude a visit to the market. While the line may be a little chaotic to get them, the staff keeps it moving. I went in peak strawberry season in May. The strawberries were huge, juicy, and perfectly ripe. The chocolate was cool and not overly sweet, making them a match made in heaven. Defiantly a MUST TRY!!

At this point, you've seen these strawberries all over TikTok. Like many social media hyped things, it's hard to know what's actually good or just flocked to blindly by the masses. I can whole heartedly say that these strawberries are perfection and worth all the hype!! Now, I'll start by warning that given the current exchange rate, a cup will push you close to $11. That may feel like an absurd price to pay for strawberries but I've never had sweeter or tastier strawberries. I don't even like fruits and I gobbled these down so quickly. Every single strawberry was sweet. No sour or tart pieces at all. There's a line but it moves so quickly. You pay first and then grab your cup. They were kindly allowing those with strollers to skip the queue as it's too narrow to push through. Really thoughtful and aware of customer needs. My only regret is not going back for a second cup!

The bustling Burrough Markets offer a wide variety of well... everything. And locals will always recommend the chocolate covered strawberries at Turnips. Turnips is located towards the center of the Burrough Market, and you can't miss it with its vibrant colored fresh fruit drinks, and rows of jet red strawberries. The space looks like part farmers market and part industrial trendy juice bar. Odds are, by this point, you've already seen patrons walking around the market with clear cups jam-packed with strawberries and absolutely covered in chocolate. There is often a line, but the workers are so efficient that you will be in and out within minutes if not seconds. As you pass thru the checkout you are greeted with what I can only refer to as a "strawberry cup jamming chocolate covering technician," and they will ask how many cups you need (ordered). You get your cup(s), and you're on your way! Some tips: This is a market, and vendors prefer cash. Also, this delicacy is not only filled to the brim with chocolate, but the cup itself is probably dripping with it. Be sure to grab plenty of napkins AND forks to share this wonderful treat. Lastly, the Burrough Markets are only open until 5pm, so, make sure you call it an early dinner or pre-super snacks! It is truly a wonderful experience, and it's a lovely snack as you peruse the other vendors. Cheers!!

It's hard to go to Borough market and ignore the calls of the chocolate strawberries that consume social media. I don't totally understand the extent of the hype, as they're good chocolate strawberries, but just that. Sure, they're well done, but after about one or two strawberries I was kind of done with them despite how large of a portion they give. If you really love chocolate strawberries this is a great option. If you're just interested in dessert in general, there are many other options nearby.

I was in Burrough Market for the first time, looking for a mid-morning snack after walking all morning. Then I spotted Turnips. It wasn't all the fresh juices. It was the rows and rows of strawberries and the chocolate fountain of deliciousness : ) As your dietitian, I would probably not recommend this chocolate covered strawberry delight. But as your taste advisor? Go ahead, give it a try. Highly recommended!

Fresh juice is the best, especially on a warm day. Walking through Borough Market on a beautiful spring afternoon, we picked up the mango orange & mango exotic juice to go with our lunch. Both were refreshing, not too sweet and perfectly chilled. The selection here is wonderful and there are so many drinks to chose from. Highly recommend!

Remember that time about a decade ago when there was this fresh juice fad wherein everyone ran out…read moreto buy his or her own juicer to make healthy-fresh-juice-omg for him or herself every morning only to find that he or she didn't have the dedication to buy the ingredients and clean said juicer every day, especially when the end result always tasted just a little bit crap? Well, the product you'll get at Crussh is similar to the one you'll remember from the above scenario, except you won't be out the £150 cost of a juicer that you'll never use, and you don't have to clean up the mess. It's still a bit crap, though. And your yuppie, middle-class street cred will take a blow, seeing as though you will not be the proud owner of a completely disused juicing machine.

My colleague has been trekking fairly out of the way to make this a part of his breakfast routine,…read moreand I was curious so I tagged along to check it out. What he is a big fan of is the scrambled egg pot, which are pre-prepared and sitting in a heating rack by the door, along with porridge and what they call "Fit Egg," which is basically a soft cooked egg. You then take it to the counter and order much like you do at Pod, and they add in the desired toppings out of small containers and then you are well on your way out the door. It's very good for the time constrained. The scrambled eggs are wonderfully creamy, and the chorizo and avocado that I selected as toppings were tasty, but the disappointment came with the toastie soldiers that I tried to order. The person preparing it was very confused and there was some back and forth, but basically I had to wait a few extra minutes, and then what came out was a slice of bread that had been sliced into soldiers, but not toasted at all! At least at Pod they give you some nice slices of buttered and toasted bread. He is also a big fan of the smoothies, but for me that is not so much a breakfast and more of a refreshing drink in the summer, like the Jamba Juice we had back in the US. On another trip I got the pesto chicken and cheddar toastie, to see how it compares to the ones I sometimes get at Pret. It was mediocre, but nothing special, and it annoyed me that they didn't cut it in half so I was just served on enormous toastie that kept falling apart. Overall I think this place has potential and I may give it another chance, but so far I do not think it is worth going out of your way for.
