This is not a real business it's 2 scammers renting out their personal jetskis illegally trying to get people to cover the entire cost of the repairs of their poorly maintained lemons saying it's your fault. The most recent review before this one is one of the owner/operators providing a fake review on his own business. (Gabriel) Ended up renting from this "company" because we didn't know any better and didn't have time to look for someone else once they had shown up so we bit the bullet and went ahead thinking "What's the worst that could happen?" When we first arrived at the location 15min before our scheduled time, one of the owners was there (Jesus) he didn't introduce himself at all instead he tried yelling at us "you guys wanna rent some jetskis" like a common beach hustler you might see on vacation. No company uniform or any kind of signage to let us know who he was. He was dressed in "designer" clothes and covered in gaudy jewlery. He carried himself exactly as you would expect, extremely disrespectful to all of my guests to the point where I'm embarrassed to have even put them in that situation. They gave us no contract, no reciept, no insurance options, no liability waivers basically nothing other than "Hey if the harbor police come you didn't rent these from us." And, "Dont turn on the ski in shallow water and go slowly near these parked boats but otherwise you can go any speed through the bay." So we pay these guys through venmo / zelle (BIG MISTAKE) the agreed amount and a 200 dollar "deposit" per ski total being 1050 for 4 hrs 2 skis. Sounds like a pretty good deal but what they don't tell you is that no matter what happens they expect to you to pay the full amount for the rental and any repairs that may come up. Oh and their jetskis are BEAT with duct tape holding together miscellaneous parts. All was going fine until about halfway into our rental when one of the skis just died, we didn't do anything other than ride it as intended and the thing just turned off and would not turn back on again. We call the guys that one of our guests is stranded on the bay with their ski and we needed help. So they say "ok well be right there we are 3minutes away don't use the other jetski we're going to use it to tow the other one out " It takes Jesus 45 min just to show up obviously pissed off and another 30 to get our friend out of the bay. During that process Jesus ties his rope to the handlebars (definitely not the right place to pull from) and flips the jetski over with our guest on it ( who can't swim btw ). He then instructs our guest to flip the jetski on his own (something they should have showed us how to do before the rental even started) and then finally gets the ski out of the bay and proceeds to load up both jet skis. (With at least 1 hour left on our rental not including the time it took him to pull the broken one out of the bay) He didn't offer a single apology or any kind of replacement or additional time. He then says he'll be right back with our deposit and he gets into his car and drives away. So we got in total 2 hrs when we planned for 4, and some of our guests didn't get to ride them at all. So for the next week we try to contact them about this and they are saying "we're waiting for the mechanic to let us know what's going on with the dead ski" turns out that according to their mechanic "of 15 years" the jetski broke because of something coming loose, and it usually only happens when they are flipped. So naturally I think cool we're getting our deposit back since we never flipped the ski and it was obviously not our fault. I was very wrong, AFTER taking $1050 dollars total from us these jokers had the nerve to say to us the repair was 5 hundred something how would you like to pay the rest. Again offered 0 apologies for the horrible experience we had, didn't check if our guest who they flipped was ok (lawsuit waiting to happen), didn't refund us our time we lost, and ontop of all that had the balls to ask for more money. I've seen lemonade stands run by children operate with more professionalism than these clowns. If your looking to rent a jetski GO ELSEWHERE this place is a scam and will end up costing you much more overall. read more

Please DO NOT RENT jestskies from this place, they are scammers and most likely running illegal business. I called to the number registered here on yelp, they told me to hang out and they will call me again. After a few minutes Gabriel called me from his personal number and gave me all the prices, even offered a "discount" so we can have fun. First of all jet ski rental companies that are owned by private parties such as this are illegal in San Diego. We rented over this past summer and we're pulled over by the Harbor Police who questioned the heck out of us and informed us that these privately owned jet ski companies are under heavy scrutiny and are illegal. Nick showed up in the parking lot dropped off the skis gave us no instruction gave us no warnings, no suggestions on where we could or could not go. He did however inform us that if we were pulled over for any reason to not give anyone his name or disclose where we had rented these or that we had rented them at all and that we had borrowed them from a "friend". That should have been our first red flag! He took off from the parking lot after dropping off the skis as fast as he appeared. Be warned that if the Harbor Police see you exchanging jet skis in the parking lot they will grab you in the water and then graciously give you a nice big fat $260 ticket then asked you nicely to leave the water and not come back. I caution anyone using this company or any of the others that advertise in the same manner to use Extreme Caution and be prepared to shell out big bucks as the authorities are watching. Rented two jetskis this past Saturday from Nick and had the time of my life. I was visiting a friend in San Diego and she and her boyfriend had tried calling jet ski rental places out in mission bay and they had been all reserved for the weekend. I looked on Craigslist and saw Nick's ad and link for rentals and gave him a call Friday. He said he had three available still. I've never been in charge of renting anything for a group so I was a bit confused but Nick was completely helpful and nice throughout. So the website has general information about what beaches are available--mission bay, coronado and ski beach. It said to call about other areas so I'm sure he's very accommodating. It also had pricing. He will deliver and pick up the jetskis and provide life jackets. I recommend looking first on the site and deciding when you'd like to go and where you'd like to go and how many hours you need it before calling him to ask availability. I actually had no idea but called him anyway and he was so kind and patient while i was trying to figure things out. After calling I then went on the website to put in my reservation, which included paying a portion of the rental. He told me on the phone that it's first come first serve based on the initial payment made online. A pretty standard reservation policy to me. The reservation online doesn't have the option for when and where, only the amount of hours. So after I made the reservations I called him back to confirm the details. The day of he called me to confirm plans. We ended up getting to the beach early and asked him if he could meet us sooner and he happily said he'd meet us in ten minutes. This beautiful white truck was waiting for us with two three seater 2015 white and yellow Yamaha wave runners in tow. I was shocked at how new they were especially since they were substantially cheaper than the other rental places we had looked. These jetskis were beauties. None of us had experience so Nick showed us how to turn it on and what to do if it lost power, but was confident nothing like that would happen. There's an attachment to it that connects to your wrist so if you fall off the jetski will automatically shut off. He set it up for us and we were off for two salty hours of adrenaline. We headed back to dock and he was waiting to bring us in. He got in the water and fetched us out. It was one of the most fun times I've ever had. He then had us sign and released the deposit. I highly recommend. He's available 24 hours a day. I actually accidentally pocket dialed him at 10pm and he called back LOL. He texts too! Which was really convenient. When I got there, someone else who was also renting and they asked if I had rented from Nick. I said no, and they said I was in for a treat. We absolutely DO NOT recommend renting jet ski's through this business. Our communication with Nick was horrendous. Me and my partner called in the morning and asked to reserve a jet ski ride later in the day. He said he'd email us. We waited a half hour and he didn't email us. So then I called back and he said he forgot and then finally sent us the paperwork. I sent in my drivers license and followed the directions per the email and made the reservation. A half hour before our scheduled time around 4pm, we called to ask for directions as they were NOT listed on the site, and he said that since we never sent the money in, he couldn't reserve a spot for us. But in the email, it never indicated where to send money and if that is the case, he never corrected or emailed us back saying so. So then he had us play phone tag with him, and said he'd find us a jet ski and that he was "working on it." He refused to give us the location of the rental store, and when we asked for it, he kept telling us to wait for him to call. We waited an hour for him to call us back and heard nothing. When we tried to contact him, he never picked up and no jet skis were ever rented to us nor did we receive a follow up phone call or email. We haven't heard from him since, and I cannot believe how unprofessional and unreliable he is. I mean, his business is NOT a specific location and cannot be found on the web. Decided on a rental for my bday celebration on 9/27/15. Found G5 on Craigslist. Advertised as $275 for the day which was the best rate I found online. What I liked most was that it would be dropped off and picked up. Labor Day we had rented from another company & we had to pick up, drop off, watch an instructional video, which ultimately cut into our rental time. My sole purpose with G5 was to avoid all that. On the day of the rental, it arrived late, approx 25 min. Then we got into the water and I received a phone call that something had been forgotten. The jetski had to be picked up and loaded. By the time we got back on the water it was about 45min past original booking time. Granted, we were told that the rental would be picked up 45min after original pick up time which was scheduled for 5pm. We had a great time out on the water. However, the jetski was then picked up at 5:30 vs 5:45 which should have been pick up time. Then I was told there would be additional charges for the scuffs on the equipment, this was due to docking the rental. $275 rental + $300 in extra charges...NEVER again! I realize that as a client I should be charged for damage to the rental but I hardly believe that minor paint chips/scuffs should be charged at an additional rate of $300! But to each there own. On June 10, 2015, I spoke with the owner's wife via text, e-mail and phone who assured me that my reservation was placed and advised that she would contact me for payment. On 7/2, I contacted them again via text and phone only to be advised that the deposit was never received and that no jet skis were available. She even proceeded to tell me that I received an e-mail requesting payment and that I never responded, which was not true. I never received an e-mail nor did I find one in my SPAM folder, either. I'm disappointed, appalled and annoyed that I received such poor customer service. I would have more appreciated them offering an apology, owning up to their mistake and offering some type of credit towards a rental at a future time. None of that was done.
