As an wheelchair user, I really appreciate the fact that G7 provides for wheelchair accessible taxis, and from my limited understanding, are the only one in Paris doing so at the moment (really there should be more, look at London!). But the customer service left much to be desired... I travelled with G7 wheelchair accessible taxis twice, the first time (from train station to our hotel) was ok, no issue - there was only 2 of us with little luggage. The second time a few days after (from our hotel to CDG airport) was pretty disappointing. We booked one day in advance, was confirmed through the phone that the taxi would be sufficient for 3 people (one on wheelchair) and 6 pieces of luggage - we were very specific and repeated our request many times. The time came and the taxi showed up was barely enough for 2 person with 2 suitcases. The taxi driver complained non-stop - how was it our fault??? The third person in our group had to catch another taxi. The most annoying part was when the taxi driver refused to take my own suitcase but took my friend's (the one catching the other taxi) because my friend's was smaller and lighter. My friend who was a small girl was able to carry my suitcase so how could the driver - a big strong man - not? So rude and lazy!!! We needed to get to the airport on time so didn't have time to going back and forth with him. Every driver arrived early, the cars were clean and comfortable, and each driver was patient with me as a non French speaking person. G7 offers multiple vehicle types to accommodate your needs. Rip Off - Paid 3x for one ride After our ride to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, I handed the driver a credit card to pay the fare (US$102). He indicated it was declined. Puzzled I gave him a debit card. He indicated it was also declined. I paid the driver in cash (USD) with tip and he expressed he still wasn't happy. It was a strange interaction. When I arrived home, I found both card charges have gone through so the ride ended up costing US$300+. The kicker is that they were part of the official queue of cabs where a dispatcher matches up the size of the party with a vehicle. While in Paris, I have used Uber quite a lot, but with my phone battery setting to zero, I decided to hail a cab from G7 at one of there ranks, I was originally quoted for this journey to cost 6 to 8 euros with Uber, in the same type of car so I was annoyed to have to fork out 13 euros which was between 5 and 7 euros of what it should have cost, which was rather frustrating, especially as the driver added 4 euros onto the meter at the end, so instead of 9 euros it ended up costing me 13 euros, which was over double, or nearly double than what it would have cost with Uber when examining the minimum and highest fares, and the fact there was no traffic on my route, which made me wonder did he pick on me, for the fact I was a tourist, speaking english and he seemed to speak basic english, if that. I was happy with my journey however, as it was quite quick getting there, and also the cab had free wifi which was really cool, with the password on the door, which I connected too and seemed quite fast, considering the price I wish I would have done my 23 app updates while in the car, which I would have done if I knew that the price would be as it was, and the driver would have the cheek to add 4 euros onto the meter, for a journey which still would have been a little pricey at 9 euros. The driver didn't seem too friendly, or sociable which may have been down to the language barrier, but it not something which has proven to be problematic for me when travelling with rival and larger firm Uber in the past on my trip to Paris. Overall, due to issues with the driver adding 4 euros on, and the price being high end, and the driver simply being unsociable, giving me a nasty surprise at the end of my journey, I feel I can only give G7 a generous 2 stars, and if the car didn't seem as nice and it didn't have free-wifi inside this taxi service would probably have only got a rating of one. read more

Had two substandard experiences with the G7 Taxi company in May 2019. (1) Got a taxi from the queue outside of Gare du Nord to go to our hotel near the Saint-Placide subway station. He took us on a route far out of our way that had to at least double the fare. Ignored queries about the route as if my Google Maps route was meaningless. (2) On the reverse trip we contacted G7 a day before our ride to schedule a wheelchair accessible van cab. The requirements and arrangements were very clear and agreed to. The next morning a standard car cab showed up. The driver gave us some non-nonsensical explanations (e.g., you have to arrange it a day ahead (we had), we don't have many accessible van cabs (then don't agree to provide one)), but we had to make a train, so we took the car cab. In retrospect, after looking at the bus routes, a bus would have been a better, far less expensive, and more accessible option. read more

Absolute HORRIBLE experience. I was visiting Paris during the same week of the "anti Uber riots". We needed a lift and I called G7. I spoke to the receptionist and ordered a ride. She also asked if I needed an English driver and I said YES (don't speak much French). My driver arrived shortly and my meter was already close to 30 euros. I noticed it right away and asked the driver about it. He didn't speak any English. I also speak Spanish so I can kind of understand what he is saying. He told me that somebody will call me to explain in English. After two blocks, I felt uncomfortable and had him pull over until I could speak to somebody about their pricing; clearly this was some kind of base fair that I was never informed about. Once pulled over, the driver began SCREAMING at me. As I said, I don't speak French and even ordered an English speaking driver! He got so aggressive that he even grabbed my arm and my phone charger. My friends and I left the car immediately. Clearly this company has drivers that take advantage of tourists. The receptionist should inform clients about Base Fairs ESPECIALLY when it's around 30 euros. Still don't know why I had that! She also shouldn't offer an English speaking driver if the driver doesn't or pretends to not speak it. The Drivers behavior was beyond unacceptable that it was scary. Love love love Taxis G7. My driver came 3 minutes after we called for him. He was not only very friendly but took own initiative to check up in his book that my airline really did depart from the terminal I thought (going from central Paris to the airport). When he after a few minutes into the ride saw I was on my mobile, he explained that he has free wifi in the car and showed me the code that was put up in the middle, just over from where the driver is sitting. My wife and I were in Paris for a week and needed a ride to CDG airport on a Monday morning. The apartment we had rented wasn't near a taxi stand and I was reluctant to try and hail a cab street side. I wanted to book my ride in advance and put it on a credit card and G7 offered that option. Parisienne taxis have a regulated rate of 50 euros, and Uber rates were starting at a little over 70 euros. G7 was charging a flat rate of 57 euros to get to CDG and that seemed a bit more reasonable. I was a bit hesitant to use G7 owing to some of the poor reviews, but I had seen plenty of their cabs on the street and decided to download the G7 app and book our trip a couple of days in advance. Our G7 cab arrived early, the driver was friendly, professional and spoke English. The car was new and spotless, inside and out. When we were getting into CDG the traffic into Terminal 2A was terrible and our driver asked if we wanted to be dropped off at Terminal 2C as it would only be a 50 meter walk back to Terminal 2A. I said yes, thinking that this was the moment when things were going to go bad, but our driver was right. It was only a short walk to the American Airlines ticket desk. I couldn't have been happier with the G7 experience and will definitely use their services the next time I am in Paris. read more

Avoid! Avoid! Do not use! Here has been my experience. The system is that you use points you purchase to schedule a taxi fare. The first time I used it, I noticed that when the taxi driver came, my meter already read €20 before I set foot in the cab. I asked the driver why it was this way and he pretended that he could not understand my French. Furthermore the driver very grumpy and did not know the route; I had to navigate using my IMAP. So, between using paid points to purchase the reservation and the €20 fare that was tacked onto my bill, my short ride across town cost €60, that's enough to get to the airport. I thought for sure that this was just a one time thing with the specific cabdriver. Turns out it's not. My second ride went much the same. Using points to purchase a reservation, I arranged for a cabdriver to pick me up. Again he showed up on time at the time scheduled: I got in the cab and there was already €11 on the meter. I asked again what this was about and this time the cabdriver understood my French and explained that that was policy and when the cabdrivers pick up the reservation, they start the meter. So again, I paid with the points I used and the €11 around €40 to go across town on a Sunday morning to a museum. This is complete and total bullshit- you should avoid this company at all costs. While there is appeal to having a iPhone app similar to Taxi Magic to use while here in Paris, this is not it. There are others. I'm deleting the app and letting my points expire- there are many other honest and legitimate taxi businesses in Paris that have friendly and not greedy taxidrivers and policies. read more

We booked a van with baby seat for the airport 5 days in advance. Fifteen minutes before pickup time, they called to say they can't find a van with baby seat. We asked them to send us a van even without baby seat. After 8 minutes wait, they said we must cancel the order as they have no van at all. We took Uber instead. No baby seat but much more reliable. I was picked up in Paris and supposed to be going to Beauvais airport but the driver drove to Compiègne before I realized that he was going the wrong way. I'm not sure if the phone call he took from his girlfriend was the cause of his errant driving or if he was genuinely trying to take me the longest possible way to the airport. A ride that was showing on my phone as an hour with traffic, and quoted by the driver as an hour and 25 minutes (which i found suspicious) lasted over 2 hours. And upon arriving at the airport at 7:25, although he went over an hour in the wrong direction, he threatened not to open the trunk to give me my things unless I paid him 190 Euros. Initially, he was very nice and friendly, but I still missed my flight and was charged 1000 Euros by the airlines to rectify his careless mistake. I expect a full refund of my cab fare and an apology, but I"m sure I won't get it. So save yourself a lot of frustration and $1000 and use someone else! read more

I booked this taxi service because I'm a wheelchair user and I kept seeing recommendations from non review sites where disabled tourists had used them in Paris. They have a fleet of wheelchair accessible taxis (Horizon I think) as well as their standard taxis. I had instructions from the company to wait at Rue de Dunkerque outside Gard du Nord station which we did. Except the guy was late so we went across the street to investigate whether he was waiting somewhere else. Our guy swept up and asked my name to confirm and I said yes - he replied "You were meant to wait over there!" (big deal, I was the only wheelchair user around and all we were doing was looking for him a stone's throw away!?) So that got my back up but I said nothing. When my boyfriend and I got in the taxi and my wheelchair was secured with strange looking hooks we set off. I said my hotel was at Boulevard Saint Marcel and he said "Well is it Saint Michel or Saint Marcel they are different you know" and I said "SAINT MARCEL" and resorted to giving him a note with it written down. My conversational French is good so he was just rude and impatient. But here's the clanger... the meter said 21 Euros when had not moved one inch. I asked at Gare du Nord "Why is the meter 21 euros we have not even moved?" He played it dumb and said I had to speak up. I said in my country (Scotland) that would be discrimination. He said that because the company have only a limited amount of wheelchair accessible taxis, he had to drive (god forbid) ALL the way across Paris to pick us up (I suppose we were meant to feel grateful that he would rip us off of 40 euros for 15 mins in his taxi) . I was told on the phone that the taxi fare would be 30 euros max. By that, I thought they meant it might be 25 which would still be a rip off. My boyfriend asked how far Saint Marcel was and he said over 7 km. This is a lie as it is 5.8km from GDN. Mid way through the journey the taxi driver suddenly sped up way too fast and my wheelchair slammed into the back doors. I was fine but so much for his elaborate hooks and fasteners... He seemed completely disinterested in whether I or my wheelchair was okay. He also got his iPhone out and started calling his friends to hook up with them later while he was driving. Niiiice..... I accepted what he said (well, ignored him) at that stage as we in motion. At our hotel the meter said 35 euros but 10 seconds later when he was leaving it was suddenly 40. I was disgusted by the whole thing so just gave him the money which most people would probably do just to see the back of him. The whole trip took 15 minutes and cost me 40 euros. My fare to come from London in the Eurostar was less than my taxi trip in Paris. Needless to say, on our return trip to Gare du Nord we walked it (my boyfriend pulling our luggage and me in my wheelchair alongside him). It took us an hour and 15 mins to walk the distance at 6 am in the morning but at least it was free and we didn't feel like complete suckers!!! DON'T BE RIPPED OFF. read more

Now that I have returned home after a long journey, I would share with readers the terrible experience I had with this particular driver of TAXIS-G7 on August 25, 2016, and hope it would lead to better experience for all whilst in Paris. 1. Safety Issue-He is very unprofessional. Soon after we got into the car, he was chatting over the phone with his friend almost the entire trip to Versailles, about 20, 25 minutes of continuous talking, most of it on highway, without any regards to passenger safety. 2. Didn't know the destination-We almost missed our guided tour of Versailles because he couldn't drop us off at the tour company, 10 Avenue du General de Gaulle, which is just a block south east of the palace's gate. But instead, he took us way passed the palace and garden, about 4, 5 km west of the main gates, where no commercial companies in sight. We questioned him and he said he just followed his GPS. We got worried because it's getting close to our meeting time; we then asked him to take us back to the main gate and we will just take another taxi from there. Luckily, after gotten off the taxi, we found a board with a map of the local area and was able to figure out the location of the meeting point. We ran and were able to get there in time-1 pm. We left at about noon from the hotel, the taxi reached Versailles' main gate about 12:35, went passed Versailles for a few minutes and returned to the main gate at about 12:45 pm. The taxi fare was about 36 Euro from hotel to Versailles, after the detour, it was $48.80. I must point out that the taxi driver was unapologetic throughout our ordeal; he seemed to be implying that it's not his fault, it's only the GPS that was giving him the wrong direction. Well, if he doesn't know where to take us, say so and we'll get off at the main gate. Or at least he could have stopped the meter running once he realized his GPS isn't working, and promptly take us back to the main gate. Money is one thing, but my blood pressure must have been way up there for fear of missing the tour. Hearing my story, my hotel (Chouette Hotel) provided this link to share my experience (they called this taxi for us, but it shouldn't be their fault for the behaviour of this taxi driver, in fact they were top notch in looking after their guests). My experience with other taxis in Paris were quite positive, I sure don't want this particular one to discredit the good reputation of the others. As someone who has spent alot of time in Paris, I need to weigh in on this company which I chose because they take credit cards and have a good rep in France. Fabulous experience - I called the night before, for those who need it there is a line for English speakers which is picked up right away. I requested a taxi from our rented apartment in Montparnasse to Charles de Gaulle airport ("Roissy"). We were travelling mid morning on a weekday (work day). There were four of us with large suitcases, they sent a "station wagon" which was a small mini-van kind of thing. The polite and pleasant driver arrived 10 minutes in advance. The dispatcher quoted us a price of approximately 60 EU depending on traffic (trip to the airport is metered). From Montparnasse, I'd always allow 1 hour. We had a pleasant ride listening to Jean Luc Ponty, and the meter read 55EU upon arrival. There was a 5 EU charge (cited in advance) for the bags. The Air France bus for four of us would have been slightly less and struggling on the RER wasn't worth it. No issues with the credit card and the driver was thrilled when I gave him a 10% gratuity (tipping taxis seems to be considered very optional in Paris). read more

Wish I could remember his name. He told us he was from Senegal and had lived in Paris for 29 years. We chatted and told him where we were from. As we were chatting our driver took us a VERY long way around to our hotel. Blamed it on traffic but we had googles and Apple maps up and that was telling a different story. What cost us 30 euro on the way to the train station a week prior was 60 euro on the way back. The kicker was at the end when he said that g7 doesn't accept credit cards, only cash. We didn't have euros so we had to give him American dollars. And his "receipt" was a hand written note. Will never use this service again. Do not use this service. I don't even want to give them a 1 star. I requested the taxi weeks in advance. When I got to the airport in Paris they were not there. I called and no one picked up the phone. A day later they emailed me and apologized for not being there. I cancelled my return taxi with them and got confirmation of the cancellation. Several days later I received a phone call from the taxi driver asking where I was and I was already back in Canada. Then they charged me $110 euro for no service and now that I request a full refund no one will return my emails. No service at all and it cost me $110 euro. read more

Nearly missed our take off time. That sums it up. At the start of booking it was specified we need to be at CDG at 8:30 AM. Let the taxi figure out when to leave. G7 decides they can pick us (2) up from 7:45 to 8:15 and said we will be at the airport no later than 8:45. They should know, right? Taxi showed up at the very last moment: 8:15. He drives like a mother with children in back. And we get there at 9:03. It was lucky the airline helped push us through. But The price was good. Pay no attention to the 1-star review from Alice G. She did not understand what was going on. This service is fantastic. If you install the app on your phone, is uses your GPS to determine where you are, so you can call for a taxi even if you don't know exactly what your current location is called or what the address is. The driver arrived on time, was extremely friendly and helpful, and took us on the cheapest route possible to our destination. He handled all the bags without charging us anything. I tipped him even though that is not expected in Paris, because I was so completely thrilled with the service. Alice G noticed that there was money on the meter when her cab arrived, and she assumed this to be a scam. It is not, is the law in Paris. Had she read the FAQ at Taxi G7's site, she would not have been surprised. When you call for a taxi in Paris, and a driver is assigned to come get you, the meter starts immediately. You pay for his/her trip to get you, and this is called the "run in fee". Again, this has nothing to do with Taxi G7 or any particular driver, this is the law in Paris. Depending on where the driver comes from, the fee will be larger or smaller. In fact, Taxi G7 is smart enough to find you the closest driver, and so the run-in fees are usually the smallest using them. It just depends on who is available. Our run in fee this morning was just over 3 euros. The only way you can avoid the run-in fee is by flagging a cab on the street. But then you don't really know exactly what you're getting... whether the driver will accept your credit card, etc. With Taxi G7 the quality of the service is much more reliable. Use this service! Especially if you don't speak French, it makes things 100 times easier. read more

The cab was announced at 9:20 by sms but it actually arrived at 9:40 and we were two passangers in the cab, one going to Paris-East, the other to Paris-West. Do we toss a coin to know which one is going to waste 35 more minutes in the cab? As i was going to be dropped first, i proposed to give the other passenger 15€ for her to take a cab from the first Paris point we were going to be at, (Porte de Clignancourt). Arrived alone and nervous from CDG airport in Paris. The taxicab driver from G7 #3607 was standing at the exit for cabs. He approached me and showed me to his cab. When I asked him what the charge would be to my hotel 20 min away, he quoted me 80 Euros. When I declined his service, he quoted me 60 Euros. I accepted the ride (stupid me). He never turned his meter on and stated that it is was a fixed rate. The person I was meeting, informed me her taxi was less and they had turned their meter on. Our first time using g7 today After the recommendation of another taxi driver yesterday. I am reporting both drivers for inappropriate business practice and was so appalled that I made note of the numbers on their back windows. First driver we hailed in the cold rain at the Louvre, a middle aged Asian man who after trying to drop us off a block from our destination in the rain refused to take a credit card and INSISTED on cash. His number was 7695 and the g7 logo. The second driver was called from the restaurant he drove a Skoda with number 4889, with a tray of hard candy in the backseat and a photo of a young Asian girl on the dash. He refused to take us all the way to our hotel because there was a trash truck on the street he wanted to turn on, there were other ways to get to our hotel. He dropped us off on a Main Street in the neighborhood and told us to walk the rest of the way. One of us is partially paralyzed and uses a walker. We reported both incidents to our hotel. I traveled to Paris with my family and since we are five people we ordered two taxis at the airport (CDG) to go to Paris downtown (they did not have available minivans at CDG) and taxi drivers charged us 50% more (!) then operator promised us. That is the story: 1. We (family of 5 people 2 adults + 3 kids) arrived to CDG airport and I called taxi 2. We would like to book minivan but there were no available minivans close to airport and we were offered to book two taxis for 45 EUR each 3. We were waiting at the 16 exit in terminal 2E and in about 10 minutes two taxis arrives - Lexus and Peugeot. 4. They took us to the address but when we arrived we were asked to pay 65.50 EUR for one taxi and 71.40 for another. They explain that this difference is because of additional passengers and meeting fee. The difference in their prices they explained that one driver waited for another one for about 10 minutes. 5. When we get to the apartment and read the rules published on G7 website we realized that we were cheated. 6. Since then I was trying to reach G7: I called them a number of times but each time operator transfer the call to commercial department which should take the claim the system just hang up the receiver.They gave me direct phone number for commercial department and again nobody answer. I also wrote them two e-mail - nobody replied. To me the conclusion is obvious: the company with such terrible service, which does not care about their customers can not be good. BTW on the way back we ordered minivan with UBER and it was excellent experience. We used Taxi G7 extensively while in Paris and I can't say enough good things about the service. I downloaded the app on my iPhone which made it simple to order a taxi. Once you order, you get a confirmation number and the make, color and tag number of your car. It tells you how long it will be and advises when the car is "imminent". We took a total of six rides while we were there and EVERY time the car was immaculate, the driver spoke either fluent English or enough with my basic French that we had no issues with communication. If you check on line you can estimate what the cost will be before you order a pickup. Fares are very reasonable. Highly recommend! read more

The hotel is Paris set up this taxi service for us. He picked us up at the hotel at 5:30 p.m. for a 9:00 p.m. flight. We did not arrive to the airport until 9:15. There was traffic, hence our leaving so early, but at one point our taxi driver got off the highway, which was perfectly clear, and drover around the Fedex airport twice before taking a back road that had traffic. Twice we had to tell him where to go as my brother in law and I both pulled up the GPS on our phones after we passed the Fedex airport for the second time. Not only was he incompetent he was incredibly slow. Cars were flying past us and he would randomly hit his breaks for literally no reason at all. The taxi cost over $200 (after he discounted $80 because we were so upset) and we had to take another taxi to another airport so we could fly out at 6:00 a.m. the next day instead. That taxi cost $309.04 and our new flights cost $503.79 so this terrible choice in taxi company cost us over $800 plus it was too late to cancel the hotel in Madrid so we lost another $100. read more

I booked a taxi with G7 for a 6 am train ride from Gare du Nord. Fortunately, G7 has a line for English speakers and was able to book the taxi with a preference for a cab driver who could speak English. He arrived promptly 10 minutes before the scheduled time and was helpful and very professional. Unlike a taxi I took from CDG airport, this cab driver did not try to swindle us by driving slow or taking the longest route. I would highly recommend this taxi service for anyone who needs to book a taxi for anytime of the day but can't speak any french! read more

We pre-booked a van to Paris airport. Dispatcher was helpful and friendly. Driver was right on time and very helpful. His VW van was clean and spacious. Very pleased! read more
