I reached out on Yelp for a project regarding cost to vault a ceiling of a potential house I was considering to buy. Someone on the team said that they could come at 11am for a site visit. I asked once again on Yelp to confirm they were coming. I had heard that I would need advice from a structural engineer, and they said yes. Then, I called them directly again, to verify if the manager would be able to speak on the structural feasibility of the project. After calling the manager's number provided by the receptionist multiple times, there was no answer - maybe he was on the job. However, when my husband called AD Master again, he was able to reach someone and when he asked about the site visit, they said they didn't have our appointment on the books. We had to schedule once again on the phone. Long story short, someone did come (at 10am, not the agreed time) and they thought they were there for a deck repair. To be honest, he just seemed uncomfortable to have showed up to the wrong job site and didn't contribute much - no estimate of cost or work was shared by him. I liked the quality of work I saw on the photos, but would not likely hire them due to the poor communication so far. Edit response to AD Master: After speaking with your customer service agent, Viky, she shared that many of your employees do not speak English as a first language, causing the miscommunications. He also went above and beyond by offering to fix the opposite side of the door frame, which was ugly before the project started. We didn't even think it was an option to fix that. Cornel installed the door, painted it, and fixed the trim on both sides, on the same day. The final result is absolutely perfect. It's beautiful, and the quality is stellar. I felt the pricing was reasonable and, importantly, we quickly established a feeling of trust. After a career of running projects myself, I would give their crew the highest marks. Emily commented several times that all day long, the only sounds were uninterrupted construction noise; every one of their people worked hard, all day long. As happens, there was a flooring glitch at the bathroom door. Without hesitating, a large section of flooring was pulled up and put back properly. Their electrician, Nick, was installing the new panel when it became apparent a new exterior service was required for code. Somebody rounded up the parts and Nick worked until 7:00 pm so that Emily wouldn't be inconvenienced. They resided the front of the house and did a great job fitting around the windows and doors, but after paint, the siding material was very rough. I pointed it out to Chris, and he agreed. Cesar, their lead carpenter, came back and sanded the whole front of the house and rolled another coat of paint on it, and put a fresh coat on the door for good measure. I added a few change orders and was treated very fairly, like we were partners. Ion and Chris were always available, even on weekends and they are leading a great crew. We are very pleased with the project; it's made the whole house seem like it's new. I've already recommended them to a couple of friends.

The quality of his workmanship wasn't so much the issue- but his attention to detail during the templating process. We chose two granite slabs for a large project which involved a 9 foot island and smaller project for another home. One of the slabs had a river of quartz running through the middle and was templated to be the center focal point of the island. When installation day came, we were surprised to find that the island had no quartz running through the center. We couldn't figure out what went wrong. When the second granite countertop was delivered to our daughter's home for install- there it was. The quartz was placed in front of the kitchen sink. This mistake really showed a lack of caring for customer wishes and a template appointment that was a waste of time. Pretty disappointing. Seams weren't that inconspicuous- I've since had other stone projects with smaller seams.
