I can't say enough bad things about this club. We joined and used the club some when we first…read moremoved. For the most part, the people we met were nice. However, with my travel and my husband's travel, we decided to not renew. Based on the contract we signed and the discussion with the business manager, Beth, who told us we had to wait a year, to either switch our membership or cancel, we waited 11 months to notify them. We knew 4 months prior to a year that we weren't renewing. Upon trying to cancel, they bring up some by-laws that we have never seen that says we are liable for another full year because our membership was automatically renewed. We joined in December and were told we had to wait a year before we could change our membership. Now according to Beth, we didn't notify them prior to Oct. 1 so we are stuck liable for another full year membership that we haven't been using since we joined. I let them know beginning of October we weren't renewing but it was too late according to them. They will take a lien out on us if they need to and we must pay over 3,000 to settle it even though I let them know before our year was up. It is a scam. It is fine print at it's best. Clubs are struggling to make a profit so they are holding us to this by-law that we have never seen. The contract said nothing of it or the membership year dates or cancellation. We were never told to read the by-laws either. I am beyond irritated. I would recommend if you are considering joining you read EVERYTHING in their by-laws because it is scary what they claim they can do to someone for improper conduct, late payments, etc.

We got an appointment with Chris who is the Membership Director at Legacy Golf Club, he gave us the opportunity to play the course and have lunch. The food was excellent, Chris was clear in his explanations, he answered all our questions, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The course is in great condition, with lush fairways, fast greens and very well maintained. It took us 3:30 hours to play the course, it's well within the norms for eighteen holes. The course is under new ownership and already the owner has plans to improve the facilities and the course. I had the pleasure of talking with a few members and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. We're looking forward to a new chapter at The Legacy.

What an amazing teacher…read more We took our daughter here in an attempt to teach our under 1 year old how to swim. Well we're here over a year later and we're still coming here. The pool is in the teachers backyard. Virginia has the backyard set up like a jimmy buffet vacation which is very tiki. It's very tranquil. Her pool is large enough for kids to do laps. Virginia has large covers for the pool so no worries about too much sun. Virginia loves our daughter and continues to be a great instructor for our kid and everyone else's. I highly recommend more people to come.
