The lady did not help find or suggest any dresses except for two that fit the description. When trying the dresses on she didn't help nor did she help carry the train of the dresses while I walked so I wouldn't trip. I just had to shuffle through to the showroom hoping I didn't rip the dresses. When I told her that I wasn't much of a fan of a dress she would try to convince me why I should like it, did not suggest any news ones that I might like instead, and told me that I should buy a dress soon because I don't have much time left before my wedding (my wedding date is over a year away). When I finally found a dress that I felt the most comfortable in she became very pushy. I told her that I loved the bottom of the dress but wasn't sure about it. She came into the dressing room and tried to get me to order the dress online with a different neckline. When I told her I wasn't interested in doing that because I wasn't sure how it would look she kept pushing me to make the sale. After the third time of her not understanding the word "no" I was forced to get stern and tell her that I would not be buying the dress, that I wasn't interested, and that I was not going to drop a few grand on a dress that I wasn't sure of to which she stormed out of the room. Then she came into the show room and told my mom and my bridesmaids the same thing that she told me in the dressing room that I had already said no to. I was done after that. The whole day made me want to cry. I felt like I was being a burden because I couldn't find a dress I liked and I was being pressured and fear mongered into buying a dress. Horrible service overall. I did not, which in the past they still did my alterations with no problem...She then told me that they don't have any more appointments for her until the end of May!!! Prom is May 13th!!! I then asked why all of a sudden there are no appointments available???? When she first told me April 4th?? She then replied because we need to take care of our girls first which meant the prom dresses that were purchased there at their store!!! I was so upset!! In the past it was no problem now all of a sudden there is a problem??? I am a paying customer!!! Have always been!!! I have spent well over 1,500$ there in the past and from now on I will let every single person I know never to shop at Zilinskys!!!! I will never step foot back in that store if they were giving dresses away!!!! Maybe if they would update there disgusting store more people would want to buy dresses there!!! Or if they would update there inventory of prom dresses instead of having outdated dresses!!! Or if they would carry smaller sizes instead of only having size 6 and up!!!! Just another antique, collectibles store that had some cool looking things from time to time like the many other in the area. It didn't stand out from any other at all. Records there were $3 a piece. Not as good as $1 or less as you can get at donation centers but is better than some of the other consignment and antique places that charge $5 a piece. I stopped in again in November 2015. This time they had a great selection of records. I was happy to pay $3 each for this selection. I found 20 good records that I did not already have. One of them just happened to be Prince's Purple Rain single on 12 inch vinyl which was purple in color as well. I was SUPPER excited. I went on and on about it. A purple vinyl record of Princes Purple Rain on a 12 inch record. I told them how happy I was cause if I found this at Half Price Books, eBay, Amazon, or any other record store it would most likely be about $20 for it. It was a steal for $3. Of course I'm telling this to the woman that owned the shop while checking out. I was just so geeked about it. Well, I get home and what is the ONLY record out of the 20 that was not in my bag? I bet it isn't too hard to guess. Yep, it was the purple record of Prince's Purple Rain on 12 inch vinyl. I wasn't happy as I would have to go back. That was hard as she had retarded hours to begin with. I think it was only Thursday though Sunday and absurd hours on those days. Even then she was not always there when she was suppose to be either. Extremely frustrating for somebody with a concern like mine. Frustrating at best for anybody just wanting to do any shopping. So it was well over a week before I could get back to the store when they were actually freaking open. Pretty pathetic since I worked in town 6 days a week too and was always checking. Well, the first thing I asked is if the record was still there as it wasn't in my bag. They said no and that it was odd that I didn't have it. So the woman offered me a refund of $3 for the record she never even put in my bag. OK, so I got my money back. Big deal. Where did it go? The record I made such a big deal about was not in the bag and could only be one other place. Yet she claims to not be able to find it. Seriously, who actually believes that? Now she is out of business. Gee, I wonder why.
