This hospital facility operates efficiently and the staff are very helpful…read more The day of our most recent visit, they were understaffed but still got us through an examination with the doctor and tests in an understandable amount of time. Treatment here and prescriptions electronically transmitted to our pharmacy helped to alleviate our need.

First- someone ripped out my catheter while I was heavily sedated- I do recall this perfectly due to the pain, it woke me, I screamed & passed back out but that memory absolutely still exists & haunts me....yet nobody notated (signed off on it) who did it. Whomever it was did it to torture me as it's 1 of maybe 4-5 people so why not notate it as per usual protocols? I wager that nurse's neighbors are missing pets- this was some sick crap by a sick person. Because then during my stay at least 2 different other nurses came by my room "to remove that Foley catheter for you" because nobody notated it had been removed- so it is a mystery to who tortured me as nobody signed off on removing it & nobody would own up to it (because that murder is a PSYCHOPATH). Worse now, the nurses did not even look at or bother to change my bandages or dressings for 2 full days- it was only when I stood up did they see the huge encrusted bloodstains all over my side (where drain tube was). So I lay there bleeding & in blood almost the entire time I was there. Maybe 5 or 6 hours before they discharged me someone finally (after I complained) changed my gown & dressings on my wounds- just terrible. While there not one time was I given all of my normal daily medications (it always took them 2+ trips as I asked "what about such & such?" Also a couple of times some nurse said "your BP is low so ima gwon skip dis BP pill" & then wouldn't give the med to me (really?! Think about this- this is a nurse changing & overriding a doctor about my meds- who does that, it's ILLEGAL too?!). My dressings gave me dermatitis because they stayed taped on while they were fully bloody & remained unchanged for three plus days (just shy of 4 days) like almost 80 hours I lay there coveted in blood with bloody bedsheets. Isn't that that basic nursing 101?! To keep wounds clean? Well apparently not at Wellington. I also am supposed to take prophylactic antibiotics due to my recent heart surgery to prevent infections yet they didn't give me any in the hospital after surgery. So afterwards when I was back & able to think I realized this so I called them multiple times to speak with them & THEY FLAT DO NOT CALL BACK. So after my discharge i had to go see both my PCP & my dermatologist just to try to & clear up my newly acquired skin infection (yes 2 incisions are now infected- thanks for nothing) that I have due to poor wound care & not changing my dressings on the hospital. Since discharge I have called their patient relations person Tiffany Francis three times over 3 days and still haven't received any callback from her- (nice patient relations person, just don't answer & doesn't return any calls back) so here it is, most of the nightmare I dealt with just this past week. I WISH someone had written a review detailing how awful their experiences were because I guarantee many others were probably just as thankful (as I am) to have not died in the hands of Wellington Regional Medical Center's hands. But please listen to me & hear this; this is not a joking matter I got out of hospital with skin & wound infections. If I see a dentist or get a tattoo, I have to take antibiotics the whole time- but Wellington didn't look at my records and try to help get me a prescription, they never helped. Wellington does NOT care about the patients, they disregarded my needs & caused skin infections & then just blew me off afterwards. Theor nurses changed my meds, disregarded how disgusting my gown & wounds were, I was left on extremely bloody sheets for over 60 hours, how my surgical wounds became infected & immediately upon discharge I had to go to 2 different doctors to get the right treatment for the skin infections I got thanks to their nurses NOT doing what they're supposed to do & keeping my wounds & gown and bedsheets clean. Please, if you have a choice of hospitals DO NOT CHOOSE Wellington Regional Medical Center; it's a gorgeous building but it is ROTTING on the inside. I needed a certain machine to tattoo a tumor inside my lung so I went there- if I had known then what I know now, I would have gone elsewhere even if they had to do a different procedure to find & mark the tumor because Wellington is by far, the worst hospital I've ever been treated in & I have been in numerous hospitals. Out of the local area hospitals Good Sam, Gardens, Jupiter, Wellington even U Miami- Wellington is the absolute worst by far and their patient relations person has been ducking my calls for the 3 days I've called, likely because they actually, really just don't care.

My barely 25‑year‑old daughter, Taylor, was killed by what multiple independent physicians and an…read moreautopsy have confirmed was reckless medical negligence and neglect at an HCA Florida hospital where she was taken after being rear‑ended at a red light. Her internal bleeding went undiagnosed for about eight hours despite the nurses repeatedly notifying the doctor of glaring signs. Once imaging was finally ordered and active internal bleeding was confirmed, surgery was delayed for roughly seven more hours. In the meantime, the doctor ordered mass blood transfusion in a way that worsened her condition instead of stabilizing her, while failing to move the central line that he improperly placed and that the radiologist recommended be repositioned. HCA Healthcare has faced no consequences, and there is no way for people researching physicians through the Florida Department of Health (DOH), the medical licensing board, to see what happened to my daughter. Because she was 25, unmarried, and had no children, Florida's 'Free Kill' law strategically blocked me from pursuing legal recourse to ensure the hospital and its physicians are held accountable so the harm does not continue. If you or your loved ones rely on HCA Healthcare in Florida, please take time to learn how this system really works and how families can protect themselves. My original opinion of Dr. Greenblatt was that he is a nice young doctor. I was mistaken. After being reasonably upset about him (Dr. Greenblatt) and his office staff (Heather specifically) not following through with previous promises in past conversations and their lack of trying to accommodate a persons needs Dr Greenblatt then intern fired me as a patient. When firing a patient you should at least have the courage to speak with them in person and not through a text message in addition it is technically illegal to fire a patient that way. In no way did I EVER raise my voice or be verbally abusive or disrespectful to any of the staff members. I only clearly voiced my opinion. When speaking with Sophie (the medical assistant) she was completely understanding about my predicament and willing to help. Obviously in my opinion what we have here is a very immature new doctor that lacks compassion or empathy for people or their emotions. YOU have gone into the wrong profession. Do better!!! If your expectations of a doctor are high avoid this specific doctor...
