My wife saw Dr. Goldman last year when she was in pain, so when I was in an accident in February and was in pain, my wife recommended Dr. Goldman. For the past two months, I've got very familiar with him and his practice, seeing him at least once a week over that time (and the day of my accident, he squeezed me in same day when the pain came on). He is a great doctor, friendly, approachable, a great conversationalist if you so desire, and I highly recommend you see him. The best part about Dr. Goldman is how thorough he is in understanding your pain, tracking your progress from appointment to appointment, and generally caring about my well being. Each appointment I went to was tailored to my needs, and it generally started with muscle stimulant, then massage, then an adjustment. He sourced where most of my pain was, and we targeted those areas. He runs a smooth operation, getting you in on time. I've been going to Dr. Goldman for almost 9 months now and he is absolutely amazing! I've had bad experiences with chiropractors before and he is the first one that I don't DREAD going in, I look forward to it! He also fits me in on short notice too! Or if I have to cancel he doesn't get mad, I know its frustrating, but he just says, "Its okay!! When are you available so we can get you in and get you feeling better?!" That's always his main concern is that every single one of his patients leave feeling amazing and happy. Its also very easy to talk to him. I've talked to him on quite a few occasions about personal matters and he listens and he gives amazingly great advice. I went to Dr. Goldman with an unstable/dislocating shoulder problem. I train brazilian jiu jitsu so this injury was significantly affecting my training and my life. I thought I was going to need surgery and I was afraid to get an MRI because I cannot have the surgery at this time. That meant I would need to stop training jiu jitsu until I got surgery. I was skeptical and I had very little hope that Dr. Goldman would be able to do something about an injury that I was sure could only be fixed with surgery (and I'm a nurse!) My shoulder had been subluxing posteriorly (partially dislocating) multiple times a day whenever I trained jiu jitsu. Often the pain brought me to tears. After my first session with Dr. Goldman, it stopped dislocating all together. Dr. Goldman is also knowledgeable in Physical Therapy, so I was able to supplement his work with my own Physical Therapy sessions. I am lucky to have been referred to him through a friend of mine. My back was really messed up and I saw him for 6 months after the accident but I am definitely back to normal if not even better. As a skeptic toward chiropractors, I was a little hesitant to see one. Initially after a ridiculous trampoline injury (never play crack the egg with 5 teenage cousins but I digress) I went in to have some work done on my back. I was amazed at the professionalism and knowledge Dr. Goldman provided. He went through each part of the treatment (heat and stim, adjustment and massage) and discussed with me the importance and benefit of each. Never once did I feel pressured to come back or was told that my symptoms would come back if I didn't get further treatments. I did go back a few more times for adjustments and other treatments. I have since moved away from the area but I still recommend family and friends that are local to Newport Beach/Orange County area to Dr. Goldman. The staff and office are wonderful too.
