Back in July of 2024, I brought my PlayStation 4 up there because my disc drive wasn't reading discs. I got it back two weeks later. They cleaned out the system and replaced the hard drive. They tried to charge me $130 even though I agreed to $120. I wound up paying $120. I brought the system home. turns out they did everything except what I asked them to do. The describe still did not read discs. I called them up to complain about it. The person that I was talking to on the phone nonchalantly said bring it back up here and will take a look at it. I hung up the phone. They had two weeks to fix the problem. They did everything except fix the problem. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. I easily got my money back because of the lack of interest from Galactic Gamez. They didn't even respond! Nobody else needs to waste their time and money dealing with such apathy. read more

This place is ran by grown men who love to take advantage of 8 year old kids, argue with people online (check their google reviews, you'll have a laugh reading them), and love to think they are right when proven wrong. Don't sell your cards here because they love to take advantage of people who are unsure of prices. Go anywhere else, or sell your cards online at their **collectors** value! While I was checking out their neat little store an 8 year old kid came in cause he opened a Tyranitar V (155/163) which is at the VERY minimum $75 going all the way up to $150 dollars ungraded. If you get the card graded we are talking much more. I intervened cause that is scummy in itself to take advantage of a little kid and gladly told his mother how to sell their card for what the community thinks it is. Their online response to my google review was "This was a cash transaction so $40 offered for the actual value card was fair." which is a lie in itself, as he was offering this child IN STORE CREDIT. Then proceeded to tell me to "If you want to debate that than great." which is childish to respond to your customers this way. It's not that hard to go online to other peoples online shops and see the market value. Here's another lovely quote from their response "We are also a players store. If you actually played the game than you would know prices and their values." Playing the game has absolutely nothing to do with knowing the prices and their values, I have no clue if this is meant to be you trying to insult me or a compliment. But thank you so much! I'm sure finding cards on the online market is very hard, which is what I know your employee did when he tried to gank the kid of his money. So idk if they changed owners or if things have changed when reading the other reviews, but when they ran the Modern Horizons 2 MTG prerelease event it was run well. There was good prize payout, showing, raffles, and the local bbq was great. Not sure how other events are being run. Based on my experience I enjoyed it and would come back to this store for card game events! Only gripe was play space but I understand costs of building and maintenance associated with local game stores these days. 4.5/5 read more

This place sucks!!!!!! They have had my PS4 for over 6 months. They refuse to return my machine to me. They keep odd business hours and are never here. DO NOT bring your machines for repairs or you will never get them back. read more

This man accepted two switch controllers with a promise that he was gonna fix them expeditiously back in March 2020 it is now about to be October and after months of attempting to retrieve my controllers back and when confronted about his lack of business ethic he went on a racist rand said f*** you wetback and when I told him the controllers were my kids he said f*** you and your kids file a civil lawsuit b**** read more

This store is a pick up location for wish. I had an item sent here a couple of weeks ago. when I picked it up I inquired about the game Outer Worlds. He did not have it in stock but said to check back. I ordered a few more items from wish and went to pick them up today. while I was waiting in line the OWNER told me he would not be processing any wish items until next week because he did not make enough money off of WISH pickups. I was a little disturbed by this. After all he did enter into an agreement with WISH to be a pickup location. Most stores do this to drive more traffic to their store. He said he needed to focus on customers spending money in his store. (there was only one other customer in the store) So after asking and making sure a few different times I reminded him of the game I wanted to buy and that I would purchase that game some place else since he did not feel that I was a good enough customer. I have seen a lot of other bad reviews about this place. I just wish I had seen them before I had my items shipped to his store and denied my items. The Items I was trying to pick up were gifts. Now I have no gifts to give and will have to give them after the fact because the Owner of the store is holding my items against my will.Also keep in mind that the items he is holding have been paid for IN FULL. read more
