Everything seemed fine until about two years ago when we discovered hairline cracks developing at the front of the sink. At first I thought it's stone after all and may have had some weakness at that point but it continued to enlarge to the point where I began filling the voids with a two part epoxy to keep water out. It continued to enlarge to the point where I felt like I should contact this business to see if they had any advise for me or could offer an explanation or remedy. I called and spoke to Majid and asked if he would send a technician to the house to check it out. He immediately got defensive with me and stated that there is no guaranty, spoke of 'normal wear', the possible consequence of hard usage, how I wouldn't expect a car to last 12 years etc, etc. He also stated that it's not that unusual as he had just recently had another individual in his store with a similar problem. Note that I at no point stated that I had purchased from him and that his people had done the installation or that improper installation is one of the main reasons sited for this type of issue. In any case, we agreed that I would send him photos and fully expected some type of response. That response never came and after a week of stewing about it, I decided for the first time in my life to write a review and post it on Yelp. If you're considering making a significant purchase like this, just be aware that problems can and do occur with stone and that you can expect zero support from this business if seeking remedy.

It needed to get completely renovated since the peeling shower panels and broken tiles led to rotten boards beneath. We picked the general floor color and asked for white subway tiles with a splash of color and let them decide the rest - and LOVED what they came up with! Our whole bathroom went from being a source of constant anxiety (feeling the floor sink beneath you as you step is always worrisome) to a great little space made for easy living. THANK YOU!!! Luis responded immediately and within one week installed the countertop and even decided to put a piece on my trash/ recycling cabinet which was a wonderful surprise! But when Luis sent over the estimate, he included this; "We will make sure it fits before we leave." Smart man. And guess what, Luis was right. The wood on the cabinet underneath was not allowing the cook top to fit and it too needed to be cut. The men picked up the cook top a few times in order to try to see if it fits. Very personable, kind men. The only thing I didn't like was the dust but when you have to cut granite inside a house, it can't be avoided, unless they tape up plastic. But, you still get dust. The estimate was 275-475 and it completed the work for 325 cash. We are very happy with this company and would recommend them.

One of the first items that I looked for and found was the granite for the bar, a beautiful rainforest green. I used The Stone Cobblers to template and install. I worked mainly with Madonna. Wow. Is she the best! I cannot say enough good things about her. At one point, I was having a crisis about the main countertops and even though she wasn't involved with the planning of those she stepped into try to help me problem solve. I wish I had known that she also worked as a kitchen designer and could do cabinets as well as I definitely would have rather had her as my cabinet person. She is level-headed, reassuring, and definitely helped calm me in one of the many speedbumps I hit along the way. She's a gem. And the owner and fabricator were also wonderful when it came to letting us do template placement, fabricating, and installed the stone. The install team did little changes on site as well to ensure everything was perfect. I highly recommend The Stone Cobblers.

Within a few months of installation a seam separated and they did come to repair free of charge but after a few years a second seam separated. What a surprise! I offered to pay for them to come back and repair. They would not acknowledge my calls or pictures I sent them. Totally would not address the problem. I was referred to AGF Marble and Granite and they could not be more helpful and gracious. They sent someone right away and fixed the seam which was not easy because it wasn't very tight. Also they suspected not enough glue was used during original installation. Next project I know where I'm going.

The amount of product he keeps in stock is impressive, and the workspace is spotless and truly state‑of‑the‑art.
