There are many reasons behind my thinking. Bottom line, I had become disillusioned. I started visiting Faith Community Church here and there after my daughters told me about how active the youth ministry was in the community and learning about all they do with the kids. I'm a single mother. I visited the church because I wanted to be supportive of what they were doing to help my daughters. I eventually became a member because the preaching is spectacular. I have no idea how a little coastal community that is practically off the grid ended up with someone like Pastor Michael. There is nothing more powerful in this world than a biblical message of Truth preached with such conviction. I'm thrilled to be part of this church home.

Small congregation that meets on Sundays from 10-noon. Christian church. All are welcome…read more First hour of service is for all ages with the sacrament and talks. Second hour is Sunday School or mutual for the children, called primary. For the adults, classes rotate between Relief Society for women and Priesthood for men with the alternate weeks being Gospel Doctrine which is their Sunday School class. The Old Testament is being studied this year in all Sunday School classes. About once a month, there is a potluck. A lot of parking is available. Visit lds.org for more info.
