I just had the best experience with this flower shop! I needed to send a plant to my sister and brother in law at the passing of his brother. I live in Florida, and they are in TN, so I called Gallatin Flower and Gift Shoppe, and boy, am I glad I did! It is rare these days to have excellent customer service, but this place certainly has it. I spoke with Emmilee, who was not only professional and helpful in helping me decide what to send, but was also very kind. The plant she suggested was gorgeous (my sister sent me pictures), but also reasonably priced, another rarity these days. Needed a flower arrangement last minute for a special birthday I almost forgot. Googled flower shop and with luck of the Irish called Gallatin Flower shop. Stevie G. answered the phone and in less than 15 minutes he had suggested a unique flower arrangement and kindly agreed to ensure delivery of the flowers to my highschool girlfriend on her special day. Stevie G has today become my go to florist for all future flower needs. A million thank you's to Stevie G. P.S. My girlfriend just called crying. The arrangement had just arrived, described as beautiful and an extra special twist, this is the first time in her 67 years she has ever had flowers delivered to her at home. I'm so happy! I called Gallatin Flower and Gift Shoppe when my friends lost their sweet puppy this week. The lady I spoke to on the phone was amazing. She was so sweet and caring, and assured me they would make the arrangement one that would honor their loss. As we talked through what I wanted, she listened and took each thought to heart. She even sent me a text with pictures of the arrangement before it went out and I was beyond pleased. My friends were very grateful as well, and while nothing can help them through this difficult time, it was nice to have you all put so much effort in giving them something beautiful to have during this time. I would advise that you find another florist. I purchased a $100 plus arrangement for my wife for Valentine's Day. I had always had beautiful arrangements and fine service from Gallatin Flower & Gift. However, this time the Lilies and Peonies were mostly dead by Saturday. I called and left a message that day. After no response, I left a second message on Monday...no response and then a third message on Friday (Today) for the manger...no response. Later today I finally got a salesperson on the phone. I asked to speak to the manager and he put me on hold to talk with her. He then came back and offered me a $25 credit. Now, I had not had an opportunity to speak with anyone at the store to describe my issues and concerns so I guess three not returned calls are worth $25. When I asked to speak with the manager, the salesperson said she would not talk to me. So I still have been unable to describe my problem with the flower arrangement to anyone. I don't know if there is new ownership or a new manager but I will not be purchasing any flowers at this store any longer and I suggest you save some heartache and do the same. read more

Tim and staff are GREAT!!!! I needed some flowers sent to my wife and have not been satisfied with florists in the past. I had them put together a bouquet of flowers, sight unseen, and my wife flipped out at how beautiful and fresh they were. I notice not many flower shops in TN were on Yelp, maybe yelp isn't used as much there as it is here in CA... however yesterday was my MIL's bday and I ordered flowers through 1800 Flowers over the phone... by 5 PM I had received NO confirmation email, or phone call from them and checked my bank and no charge... so we called an there was NO record of my call even!!! So this AM I decided I'm going to contact a local shop... Found this place and WOW... they called me within minutes of finishing my order, advised me of a shortage of a flower that was in my bouquet order, and made a replacement... honestly it sounds like it will be even more beautiful with the new light pink roses rather than lavender... ANY HOO they are wonderful there!!! I believe Shirley was her name, called me and I cannot wait to see the flowers delivered to my mom later this afternoon, FINALLY! Oh, and they were about $15 CHEAPER than 800 Flowers because I don't have to pay THEM to find the local florist!
