I got my dried flowers for my wedding in March 2023 from Walden and it was an amazing experience. Courtney was easy to work with and the dried floral arrangements were BEAUTIFUL! I sent a wedding package inquiry on her website in February, she responded within 24 hours, emailed back-and-forth about the amount of arrangements, colors/design, shipping, and then I purchased in March. I purchased the Green Wedding for 120 guests: 1 bridal bouquet (medium) and groom boutonniere, 5 bridesmaid bouquets, 6 boutonnieres, 2 corsages, 8 (medium) centerpieces, 11 sets (of three) bud vases, and 2 ceremony aisle pieces. I live in southern California and my wedding was in central California, but that was no problem because she can ship anywhere from Nashville! I had added a few bridesmaids in July so I purchased additional items to the order with no problem. She shipped all 21 boxes of dried florals and vases (yes, vases are included!) directly to my venue one month before the wedding. About 17 of the boxes were 4-6 pounds, 3 boxes that were 8-10 pounds, and 1 box that was 20 pounds. Although I did not unpack the boxes (my onsite coordinator did), Courtney had zip-tied down each floral item to its box so it wouldn't move during transit (dried florals are delicate!). She provided her personal cell phone in case we needed anything else and followed up to make sure it was received and looked good. EVERYTHING WAS GORGEOUS. I am absolutely in love with the fact that I saved money (compared to fresh florals and labor), AND I get to keep the arrangements!! I let my bridal party keep their florals and I gave a lot of arrangements to my family as a memory. I really liked how each centerpiece and bud vase were unique and just slightly different than one another. I was OBSESSED with my perfectly sized bridal bouquet and enjoyed that the stems weren't sharp or wet like fresh flowers normally are. I have been talking about dried florals and WaldenFloral since I booked Courtney and I am so so SO happy with how everything came together on the wedding day...and reliving the memories with the dried arrangements in my home now. Throughout the entire process, Courtney was understanding and compassionate with what we were going through. I used to think bouquets were pretty generic until I saw Courtney's creations back when she first started Walden Floral. I never knew floral arrangements could be so interesting, so unique! Needless to say, Courtney was the first vendor I reached out to when I got engaged -- didn't even look into other florists, just crossed my fingers and hoped she was available. I knew absolutely nothing about flowers (still don't), but Courtney asked all of the right questions during our first call and put together an initial mood board that was pretty much everything I had wanted, even though I didn't know it and couldn't articulate it. She was quick to answer my questions and patiently worked with me to fine tune every detail. Instead of cautioning me to keep my wedding flowers bright and happy, she embraced my request for a "moodier" look and introduced me to what may be my new favorite flower: a deep maroon, almost black calla lily. On the day of the wedding, I was blown away by how beautiful the flowers were. All of my guests were -- I've gotten many post-wedding comments about the flowers. From the greenery and flowers artfully arranged near the fountain to look as if they were growing organically to the bouquets to the welcome table arrangement, everything was just... What wedding dreams are made of! Courtney did our florals at The Lautner Compound in Palm Springs and she is truly amazing. I had followed her instagram for a while and knew for sure she was the one I wanted to do our wedding! Courtney was responsive and enthusiastic through the whole planning process. We had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID, and each time Courtney was quick to accommodate seasonal changes and so many various requests that came up along the way. She really listened to our "boho tropical" vision (even though it was pretty vague and honestly, sometimes we were contradicting ourselves!) and was hyper focused on making everything perfect.
