I picked this spot because it was local and they had a drive through for coffee. I didn't go inside but it's a cute little building. Limited parking and a sort of twisty drive through, but I really like the concept. I wish more higher quality places had a drive through. I ordered one of their seasonal specials, the Cadbury Egg. It's a double shot espresso with white mocha, regular mocha, and caramel. It gave me /bad/ sticker shock. I ordered the smaller size and it was almost $9. For the size of it, I thought the price was very, very high. Service was also quite bumpy. The girl who took my order didn't seem too happy to see me but she took my payment and went back to make my drink. We waited a while, and then a different, friendlier girl came to see if we'd been helped, which we said we had. Then we waited....a lot longer. The first girl finally came back after an extended time, made a very halfhearted apology for our wait (after we watched her horsing around with a male employee right behind the window) , and we were finally on our way. The drink was aggressively fine. I didn't taste any caramel and it mostly had a sort of nondescript mocha vibe. It was a touch on the bitter/burnt side too, though not unmanageable. I think I'm more upset about the price vs the size and quality rather than anything intrinsically wrong with the drink; if I could've had the same drink at around ~$5-6 I'd probably bump up to a 3 star rating. As is, though, it was a mid drink for a high price served very, very slowly with a touch of surliness. I wonder if service is quicker on the inside. They didn't seem too busy but it's hard to tell what was going on indoors; the drive through had no one ahead of us though. The food offerings look good. Perhaps I just caught them on a bad day.

There were many different types of tea and I chose one to take on our trip, but we were also blessed with some chicken salad sandwiches on a croissant and two different desserts. I rarely like anyone's chicken salad, I favor my family's recipe, but I will say, I really like this one and would give it a five 5. Additionally, we had some little petite shortbread cookies and lemon bars, and my husband LOVED 'd the lemon bars. I really liked them too, but he loved them! The cookies were so cute and if I lived in this area, I would probably go to this particular restaurant often. I met the owner and she was SO nice and really went out of her way during our short visit there. The next time we're there, I hope to go in and dine on some delicious homemade food!

The value in the atmosphere, ingenuity, and taste presented by The Tea Garden was simply delightful. We loved being able to browse their array of English teacups and saucers, selecting whichever we pleased to accompany our meal. Their selection of add-on options was also impressive, presenting more like a traditional Southern-style tea (and providing a welcome dose of nostalgia akin to the days of Montgomery's era of Gracie's English Tea Room). The service was also unbeatable: generally tea rooms have a bit of a wait due to how the meal is presented, but The Tea Garden's pacing was perfection. Iced beverage glasses were refilled in a timely manner and we were checked in on many times to see if we required anything additional, including a fresh pot of tea. For the tea, I was very impressed to see their menu goes past providing just a few select blends, leaning into true tea aficionado favorites. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend any tea lover (or posh-but-savvy lunch-goer) check this gem out before the secret gets out. Aside from a gorgeous lunch destination, this would be an excellent location for engagement parties, bridal showers, baby showers, or most fitting, a proper Graduation Tea: a Southern tradition.

I had the Cajun Omelette which was good but that biscuit was one of the best I've ever tasted. I'd go back for a dozen to take home if they sold them by the dozen. My wife had the Wakie-Wakie which came with Conecuh sausage which was delicious. I will absolutely be back when I'm there this spring.
