One of my fav breakfast spots! Parking was convenient. Upon entering we were greeted and seated. This is where I go for breakfast in Montgomery. It's a brunch vibe kinda like a warm feeling of home...Our waitress took our order and to my surprise they had mimosas on the menu! It was my birthday so let's call it my birthday mimosa What I didn't expect was the mini bottle of champagne and a glass of orange juice pour your own troubles here folks Anyhoo food was delicious as always and I did enjoy my birthday mimosa. The new district manager Neo is so rude. If I could give a rating of 0/5 I would. We joined the waiting list at 1155, confirmed our arrival at 1234. We were told we'd be seated in 15 minutes. 1:40p and we still weren't seated. We never received a confirmation text, so we asked the hostess about the hold up and were very cordial. She said she'd get us seated in a booth, after we noticed numerous people came in way after us being seated. The hostess was willing to give our party of 8 two booths to quickly get us seated then here comes rude Neo saying you can't have both booths. Despite my showing him the texts from first watch that we still haven't been seated. He said blah blah your name is no longer on the list despite the hostess just removing it because she was about to seat us. He proceeded to give others the booths then looked me in the eyes and stated you want me to call the cops for harassment and proceeded to say to me what are you going to do about it enticing me to fight him. We'll never patronize another first watch. Neo as a district manager never said oh sorry we messed up and we'll get you seated. Brand new to East Chase! Literally opened less than two weeks ago, if you haven't been to a First Watch you owe it to yourself to give it a try! The pancakes and billionaire bacon are top notch, along with just about everything. This location doesn't have their liquor license yet, but once they do, their refreshing cocktails are worth the visit alone! This time I was solo, so I sat at the bar and got great service from the bartender... coffee that you can refill yourself is clutch, as was the warm syrup and water jugs. I have been a frequent visitor of this First Watch location since it has opened. The atmosphere is always nice, clean, and decorated very nicely. A good warm, modern chic feel. As for service, there were people waiting to be seated, but the wait is never too long. We were seated right away. I love how nice and courteous the staff is and how they make suggestions on new things to try. I do have a favorite to eat, which is the trifecta with the Belgian waffle. You really get a good amount of food for the money. The Belgian waffle is thick, but airy with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg and topped with powdered sugar. Sweet, but not too sweet. It comes with a meat and eggs that are normally garnished. I also love how the syrup is served to you warm. It really makes a big difference in the experience. My only suggestion would be to include an option for a homemade lemonade, if possible. read more

L-O-V-E this company! The second location that we have been to and had their million dollar bacon! Surprisingly we got seated quickly despite them being packed. The beverages came out fast and the food quickly followed after. It's so filling we didn't eat a meal the rest of the day. The restaurant is big and has plenty of booths for groups. This is the place for brunch! The place makes me feel fancy with the decor and the vibe. It is more causal though, families were here and friends so it's a nice fancy but comfortable causal place to have some brunch. The service was quick and friendly they offer you coffee and leave the pot in case we'd like more. The coffee and food was great! I enjoyed my waffle with their presence and syrup. This was my first time dinning at First Watch and I have to say we loved it! Our server was fabulous and our meals were fantastic! Our visit was April 30, 2025 and we ate outside. The atmosphere was great! The brioche french toast with the fresh berries and blueberry compote was excellent! We will return! read more

Positive: Our server Dray was great, helpful, and a pleasure to have waiting on us. Negatives: Where to start? First of all, I was told that the tea was not sweet and was told that there would not be any sweet tea until their truck came to provide sugar. Next, the first order to hit the table was the million-dollar bacon. The bacon was dark and burnt beyond being edible. Upon receiving our breakfast several things were missing and overcooked. The breakfast bacon was also burned. We sent it back only to receive more burnt bacon. The scrambled eggs were cold, the potatoes were hard and cold as well. The waffle was undercooked and soggy. No care was given to the preparation of the meal today and therefore I am very disappointed in the overall performance of this First Watch location. However, the icing on the cake was the fact that they were segregating everyone. One side of the restaurant had all whites and the other side had blacks. I do not and will not support this type of division in today's society. Therefore after giving this location a second chance, and by them failing worse this time around, I will not be coming back. I recommend everyone go to the Zelda Road location, they are awesome. In closing, I will say that if you do decide to come here ask for Dray because he is an excellent server. read more

Stated to have a "30 minute" wait time to every guest. Took over an hour and a half to get a text back, then only give you 2 minutes to get back. After waiting an hour we asked where we were in line, and they stated there were still 30 groups ahead of us. Makes we wonder how many groups there were when we first got in line do advertise "30 minutes" read more

We got in line, 20 min before arrival, checked in when we arrived. We watched so many people go in front of us, until we'd had enough almost an hour later, went inside & stood by the greeting podium, the reception workers looked at us up & down as less than human.. Seconds later said right this way & took us to our table, never receiving a "table is ready text" they were obviously not using the system or seating people by their reserved or arrival times.. Montgomery is slipping downhill into an uncivilized place it is painful. We absolutely Love the First Watch Franchise but will not be back to this location.. read more

I typically enjoy first watch. I have never had a bad experience until today. I doordashed food and noticed my eggs had something black in it. Although it looks like pepper, I've never had pepper or salt in my eggs before from here so I was a bit scared to eat this. I called and complained, and they did offer to remake my food but I would have to come get it. Although I would usually be ok with this. I doordashed the food because I was unable to go get it in the first place, so I let them know I was unable to pick up the food. The man I was speaking to seemed helpful up until the point he left me on hold for almost 20 minutes with no check in or update, so I hung up. I did not enjoy my experience this time, will not be returning to this location! read more

I gave it 3 stars because we haven't actually gotten to eat here yet. We came today, after church, and put our name on the wait list. They told us it would be an hour to 1:15 wait! We walked down the sidewalk to Pies & Pints and were immediately seated. We ordered and ate our pizzas, paid our bill, and drove home before we got a text saying they were ready to seat us! We'll probably try again, but not on a Sunday after church. read more

Definitely one of my favorite my breakfast haunts. Love their turkey sausage and biscuits w/ eggs and potatoes! Their million dollar bacon is FANTASTIC. The only keeping from getting the every time I go now is because I got braces, counting down the days till I get them off so I can enjoy this bacon again! Drinks: they have really good Coffey 8/10 of time. Have a bad batch now and again to notice. They have great cocktails, the cinnamon cereal drink is a delicious choice with the faintest bite of rum. We love First Watch. We frequent the Zelda location and are so excited to have a closer one. They are busy so do expect a wait if you go at peak times especially on weekends. The food is so consistent and the wait staff is professional. Portions are large! We usually spend 60$ for 3 people. Especially if you add the specialty juices. Most ingredients are farm sourced and organic when possible which we don't mind paying extra for. read more

First Watch is an example of a franchise growing too fast and sacrificing quality control. I stopped for breakfast today and ordered oatmeal and a blueberry muffin. My oatmeal came, my blueberry muffing was baking, then it was baking but they weren't sure it would be ready, then it was can we get you something else. Very disappointing.
