We have been fighting with Maronda Homes in Mallory Square since our home was built in December…read more2019. The first problem was at our final walk thru. We pull up and the first thing we see are tire marks and dolly markings in the driveway. Their response was the indented markings would eventually fade so we called in 2 outside companies that lay driveways to inspect and give us professional opinions. Both companies told us there was no way they'd close on this home without the driveway being torn up and replaced. That the markings would never fade as the heavy equipment they drove across disrupted the curing cement. (These companies knew they wouldn't be profiting from this) It took a LOT of fighting but because Maronda homes was desperate to close on this house before the new year they replaced the driveway. Our next complaint was peeling paint on our front entry walkway and the screened in patio. In researching why paint peels from cement we discovered the cement was either wet and a proper moisture barrier wasn't put down or the cement wasn't cleaned properly. Their response after a LOT of fighting was they'd remove the existing paint as best they could and repaint with the same product they used that's obviously not adhering to the cement. So we have to purchase our own paint and they'll paint it. Cabinets: all of the kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets splash boards do not rise up to meet the cabinets themselves. There's about a 2" gap. A perfect environment for spiders and other insects to hide. Tile: the ceramic tile they use is so cheap that it chips off around the edges exposing a brown color. When reporting this we were told tile isn't covered in our warranty. How convenient for them! Screens: one of our screens frames is defective. There's a 1" gap that allows bugs and roaches to crawl inside. They refuse to replace the screen because they aren't covered in the warranty! The screen was defective and it wasn't like we damaged it. Refrigerator: beautiful fridge with digital temperature controls however if we turn the temperature below zero in the freezer it stops making ice. Even when set at zero it is the slowest ice maker! We will be addressing this with Maronda and I will update my review once I get their response. Toilets: we were told we were getting chair height toilets but at closing we were told they never told us that so we didn't get what our salesman told us. This was a huge deal for us because I'm disabled. Shower: the shower floor tile was grouted improperly. The grout is too deep so we get standing water. The floor also doesn't drain to the center. There are two corners that drain into the corner. So far Maronda sent a grout person out who redid the grout but when he wiped it down he pressed too hard so there was no change in the grout height. We are still waiting for them to schedule another appointment to fix it. There's more little things but not worth posting. Don't build with this builder!

So yes I would do business ever with swan real estate. Take away a local landmark like the table just so you can satisfy your greed.

Robert came in, identified the problem, and fixed it properly. They also addressed my sliding glass doors, which had been ongoing issues. His team replaced my flooring, and it came out beautiful. They also took care of the finishing details, including trim work and baseboards, which really completed everything. They clearly knew their trade, were efficient, and their craftsmanship showed. "this is our last email" lmao. customer service at it's worst.
