This venue is beautiful for small, intimate gatherings. There is a very jazzy Italian feel to the interior. The venue is made of up two medium sized rooms connected to each other with a rectangular corridor of rooms at the front. If you are considering having a wedding at Gallery J, the bridal suite is on the other side of the complex. It is super small and I would only recommend up to 4-5 people get ready in there. As a photographer, Gallery J is beautiful, but hard to photograph. The main ceremony room is very dark and cramped. It is not easy to walk around and get multiple angles, and the dark makes it a little harder for the camera to focus. During the cocktail hour the guests are in the front corridor and the main room gets flipped for the reception. There is a side room where the food gets set up, and extra tables and space is. There is not really any place nice to take the family photos (since the space is getting flipped). The outdoor is lacking. The secondary room is okay for photos, but not the best. It is very cramped and if you are a photographer planning to do a wedding there, the only lenses I used was a wide angle and my nifty 50, anything higher than 70mm is too much. If you are having a super small wedding, all of this is fine. But if you are planning to pack 75-100 people in a venue, it might be a little stressful to get a lot of really good photos. The atmosphere will be AMAZING for your guests though. It's a really fun and beautiful venue. A fun hidden fact: The doors in the main room open to reveal chalk boards! There is a hallway that goes behind the ceremony wall, and there is a photobooth with hats and props. In the side room there is a balcony area where the bride can throw her bouquet from. It's a really cool venue, I just gave it less stars because as a photographer, it's a difficult venue to shoot. Just keep that in mind if you are going to book this venue for a wedding. Check out photographers blogs and make sure that they are capable of shooting tight areas with low lighting. See if they've photographed this exact venue with the amount of people that you are planning to come.

A beautiful venue and great staff. We just had our wedding there using both rooms. Throughout the evening and days after our guess raved about the stylish beauty of the place. The staff made themselves available and were quick to respond to any questions we had. The ladies that helped with the event actually helped and were very sweet. Make sure you tip them. Can't say enough good things about the place. A+

We recently got married at Gallery J Studios. We wanted a venue that was a little different: it needed to be modern, but have character; it could hold both our wedding and reception and though it would be inside, it would have an outdoor feeling too; and most of all, it needed to be classy and memorable. Well that is exactly what Gallery J's is! Jacque, the owner, was fantastic and has a great eye for detail. We could have not been more pleased!! Lori & James

This is a great place to have a party! The flow of the rooms made it feel like a bigger venue, but the decor was cozy!

I spoke with Gary over the phone and email and I quickly booked this location. It is absolutely gorgeous! Gary and Marti were so accommodating. Gary allowed me to change part of a ceremony to omit some wording that didn't apply to us. I picked the elopement package but I really wanted a cake. Gary and Marti were able to accommodate my request. Before the actual wedding Gary sat down with me and my now husband. He explained everything about the marriage license (which he sent off for us), marriage certificate and pictures. He really made us feel comfortable. Marti took some amazing photos. It rained on our wedding but the photos are still gorgeous. There is a covered patio so it didnt ruins the day. One of my favorite pictures is us outside under an umbrella. It's so adorable. Marti was super sweet even with my new mother in law who for some reason kept barking commands about photos and packaging the cake. If you are looking for a place to get married I would highly recommend this location. It's gorgous. Gary and Marti are so friendly.

Prices are great with ceremony and photography included. But buyer beware the photography they showed us examples of and what we got back was nothing like what they showed us, my friends I-phone photos were way better. When I downloaded the photos, I cried when I saw the photos and I was on my honeymoon which 2 days of my honeymoon was ruined because I was so upset. All the background of the lake was totally blown out and so was my dress so forget about wearing white. This was my wedding and there are no redo's! I was so upset I told Gary and he said it's standard photography, no this was sub-standard! I would be embarrassed to give this to anyone let alone the bride! He took offense and said that this was standard photography but for an xtra charge they would fix it. I complained with several emails and they finally redid our photos without charging the up charge which was acceptable. I felt scammed and lied to. If I had known the photography was so bad I would have had my own photographer. It left a bad taste and memories for our wedding. Too bad because they have a beautiful place. I had my reception somewhere else and thank God I hired a wonderful newer photographer that did outstanding work. They should be more upfront with their prices and give people options to get their own photographer.

However, everyone we encountered was helpful, friendly and cared about our experience. We started with the Antipasto Della Casa was lovely! Cannelloni beans, marinated shrimp, cheese. The mushrooms made the dish but the quality of all the ingredients--excellent! Rudy's recommendation of the Chianti paired perfectly. The steak my partner had was cooked perfectly and was melt in your mouth tender. The slice of cake for my birthday and the cookies were a great ending. Be sure to go outside and sit by the lake. We listened to the guitarist for a while and watched the sun set. A perfect special occasion place but also somewhere to have a few drinks and nibbles and enjoy the sunset and music.

The Highlights * The Custom Antipasto Tray: This is the star of the show. I love that you get to choose exactly the items you want. We opted for the mushrooms and shrimp, plus much more and all items were incredibly fresh and flavorful. It's a great way to tailor your starters to your specific cravings. * Fresh Starters: The house salad is a standout--crisp, fresh, and a perfect lead-in to the main course. * The Main Event: The Veal Scaloppine was tender and seasoned perfectly. It's clear they use high-quality cuts and traditional techniques here. * Sweet Finishes: Definitely save room for dessert. The wedding cake is wonderful and moist, and the peppermint ice cream is a refreshing, nostalgic treat that I highly recommend. Pro Tip: Parking They offer free valet parking, which makes the arrival seamless. Just a friendly reminder to bring some cash to tip the driver, as they provide excellent service! Overall: Between the customizable appetizers and the gorgeous view of the water, Enzo's is a top-tier choice for a special night out.

I found all of those qualities here at the Woman's Club. The staff was also very friendly throughout the entire process. According to the club's website, "founded in 1915, the Woman's Club of Winter Park is one of the oldest not-for-profit community organizations in Winter Park, Florida." In addition to the meetings held here, the building is available for rent for events including weddings. The have spaces available for all parts of your wedding. You can have one part of the event or all at the club. They have ceremony space, reception space, and cocktail hour space if you are willing to host part of the event outdoors. We used the club just for our ceremony and it was so perfect. We had about 80 guests seated which took up about 2/3 of the room. I think they can do up to around 150 seated. There are beautiful mantels on either end of the main room which we used for our event. It was so beautiful and intimate. We loved the historic touches which had also been recently renovated before our event. At the end of our wedding, our guests were directed to the lawn. We then exited down the sidewalk aisle into our getaway car. A wonderful photo opp! Easy to work with, they have a very fair price. Ceremony alone here cost us less than $1,000! Try finding that anywhere else in the heart of Winter Park. Or anywhere. I am so happy to have found this location. Thank you to the club, and to our planner Kyle, for making our ceremony here so wonderful!
