I bartened a graduation party here. I did not know this place existed. A hidden gem. Tucked away in a Industrial area. Inside is unique and beautiful. Gives off a New Orleans vibe with two rooms and one has a loft. Lots of great artwork. Our party had about 60 people. A DJ and room for dancing once the tables were moved. ONLY GAVE 3 stars for how beautiful the venue is NOT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We are 22 days away from our wedding and due to lack of communication, time management, and organization we made the choice to CANCEL. The disorganization of meeting to do final planning and final pricing was just the start of our disappointment. They have a policy of paying all fees 60 days before the event which is completely understandable. What is not understandable is holding us accountable for them being late with final paper work, 35 days late. When we were first contacted to discuss our wedding plans we were under the impression we were meeting to discuss arrangement of the room and timing for the day. To our surprise it was more about what we wanted to add to our bill because it was already late and because it was late there is a 10% late fee but they will "wave it" if we pay immediately. Mind you at the meeting all the questions we asked 90% of the response was "We can figure that out the day of the wedding," I did contact the owner and inform her of this iteration. Long story short we then had another horrible experience when it came to trying to pay our bill and the owner threatening to cancel our date and add the late fee back on. They have no empathy, understanding, or time management. Will blame you for there mistakes and expect you to give them grace but not show it in return. Like I said beautiful venue hate that we lost 1,000 in this place do to there horrible management style only use this place with a wedding coordinator. read more

Unique and beautiful venue. Hosted my daughters wedding there last November and her baby shower there today. Both events were perfect stress free and exceeded expectations. All of our guests enjoyed themselves and I can't say enough how stress free the events were thanks to exceptional service provided by the owner and staff. Our vision for both events was exceeded thanks to the personal attention to details. The photo booth is a fun activity for all guests. The artwork throughout the venue is exquisite. I highly recommend this venue for any event and will definitely reserve again. Unique and intimate, this place is perfect for gatherings of less than 50 people. The exterior is nothing to look at and you will not be taking photos outside. The interior is where it's at for this venue, and you will enjoy the quirky nature of this place. Secret doors, a cute photo booth, different rooms with different vibes, you have to see this place to appreciate it. The staff is super helpful and we had no problems at all with a vow renewal for 35 people. read more

Five stars for the best intimate wedding venue I could have ever asked for. Yes, it is literally a warehouse in a string of warehouses in a secluded part of Winter Springs. Yes the bridal suite is in a completely separate warehouse on the other side. No, there isn't a groom suite. No, there isn't a good spot for lots of outdoor shots, your view from outside includes a bunch of trash in a trailer. That aside, Gallery J is absolutely magical when you walk in. The artwork is all painted by the venue owner as this is her former art studio. Jacque has a killer sense of style. There's two rooms separated by a sliding door that looks like a freaking picture frame. Their 90 minute pop up wedding goes by super fast but it is such a great value. The officiant that comes with the package is absolutely amazing and made the ceremony so special. Tiffany did a great job coordinating my wedding and answering my million and one questions about our small wedding. Over all we were very impressed and I'm so happy we found Gallery J and I would absolutely love to go to more events there. read more

The venue itself was brilliant and beautiful! But literally you ruined my friends' and all the guests night! You can't be rude to employees otherwise you don't get your deposit back - common sense. But when it feels like the employee(s) aka the photographer is being rude to guests on purpose is not appropriate or professional what-so-ever. You would've thought he was in charge because the actual person in-charge wasn't doing anything! My friends already had a photographer, we didn't need the venue photographer to get in the way for most of the ceremony and waste the limited time we had trying to run the show. Also, what venue only carries one cake box for a multi-tiered cake?? Lies. Do better. read more

This venue is beautiful for small, intimate gatherings. There is a very jazzy Italian feel to the interior. The venue is made of up two medium sized rooms connected to each other with a rectangular corridor of rooms at the front. If you are considering having a wedding at Gallery J, the bridal suite is on the other side of the complex. It is super small and I would only recommend up to 4-5 people get ready in there. As a photographer, Gallery J is beautiful, but hard to photograph. The main ceremony room is very dark and cramped. It is not easy to walk around and get multiple angles, and the dark makes it a little harder for the camera to focus. During the cocktail hour the guests are in the front corridor and the main room gets flipped for the reception. There is a side room where the food gets set up, and extra tables and space is. There is not really any place nice to take the family photos (since the space is getting flipped). The outdoor is lacking. The secondary room is okay for photos, but not the best. It is very cramped and if you are a photographer planning to do a wedding there, the only lenses I used was a wide angle and my nifty 50, anything higher than 70mm is too much. If you are having a super small wedding, all of this is fine. But if you are planning to pack 75-100 people in a venue, it might be a little stressful to get a lot of really good photos. The atmosphere will be AMAZING for your guests though. It's a really fun and beautiful venue. A fun hidden fact: The doors in the main room open to reveal chalk boards! There is a hallway that goes behind the ceremony wall, and there is a photobooth with hats and props. In the side room there is a balcony area where the bride can throw her bouquet from. It's a really cool venue, I just gave it less stars because as a photographer, it's a difficult venue to shoot. Just keep that in mind if you are going to book this venue for a wedding. Check out photographers blogs and make sure that they are capable of shooting tight areas with low lighting. See if they've photographed this exact venue with the amount of people that you are planning to come. read more

Came to this venue for my ladies work party. They hosted an amazing evening including food, drink, and entertainment. It's out secluded away from traffic and had a beautiful outdoor set up with candles and a red carpet. When you enter the bar is to your right, then ahead was a dance floor with a DJ. The room then ends with a photo booth and leads into the next room where the food was being held. There was an upstairs w/ spiral staircase as well as a lower seating. When you cities to the next room to the left there is a black jack and roulette table in which the chips would be entered as raffles at the end of the night. And boom back to the front. This is the cutest, most unique venue ever. Perfect for smaller events of 100 people or so. It's decor is so cool.... From the beautiful piano to the lady lamp. One room is beautiful for a wedding with a connecting room for reception, then the ceremony room is converted for dining or dancing. Don't let the outside fool you... I booked this incredible venue for a 90th birthday and I was so impressed with Jacque, her staff and the Jazz Club feel of Gallery J that I booked my 50th birthday party for a month later. Jacque was so thoughtful and accommodating throughout the planning process. Our guests were thrilled that the venue was in Winter Springs and our band said that Gallery J was one of the best venues they have played at.
