They sold all of our parents' estate items and then the owner said she spent the money on personal bills and could not pay us the money from the sale - over $7,000. Not sure she's intelligent enough to realized that's THEFT! I can only imagine how many other victims had the same issue. We've now had to take her to small claims court. read more

Gallery One is a SCAM! I wish I had read reviews before I hired them. They cleared out my In-laws house over a year ago and we have yet to see a dime or hear from them. Apparently these guys are con artists. They picked up the estate in November and I've tried emailing, calling and texting them. No response. Next stop is with the police and courthouse. Sadly they got some pretty expensive items in the estate. Still insured, so I will probably try sicking the insurance company on them as well. Well, folks. We are NINE months past when this rotten group of thieves picked up my stuff and my parents stuff with the promise of sale and payment in about 4 weeks. What a JOKE. They are a huge scam. I think their business works like a PONZI scheme. They also learn that if they ignore you, they don't have to pay. The horrible people owe me just shy of $1000. I have been very nice and polite. Those days are so over. I'm coming for my money. The legal system is one my side. I will win. They will lose. When I discussed my options with KEESHA BLACK (look her up if you have access to a background check app/site - IT's super interesting), she said if people forces them to pay, they would file for BANKRUPTCY. Do it! You will still have a judgement against you in court once I'm done. I encourage you to stay away from this business. If you have engaged and not been paid, head to small claims court in Montgomery County. Give it to them. File for what they owe plus your court costs. Get your MONEY. They picked up our brand new furniture and prints and told us they would send us a link so that we could send to our friends who wanted to help us purchase things at a fair price. They never sent the link to us, and instead conducted the auction in private and lowballed everything. Instead of the thousands of dollars that I was expecting from the sale of our items, we are only receiving about $1500 (not yet received). They will not return any phone calls. Extremely disappointed, and I feel that this is bordering on a scam. read more

I have loved the items I have found at Gallery One for years until my most recent purchase. The description was inaccurate at best or just plan misleading. The items were unusable. The communication was non existent. Disappointing for sure because they were my go to auction. read more

September 2022- Imagine my surprise when I received an invoice and check for items that don't belong to me. This is either incompetence or possibly something unsavory. I voided the check and sent it back with the invoice and a note. July 1, 2021-If you're a seller, take pictures of everything. As of now items of mine are missing and I've been told might have been donated. Designer purses, 2 Panasonic Toughbooks, Dresden porcelain figurines, an antique silver teapot, and other items; as well as items mixed in with someone else's merchandise. I will be happy to change my review if this gets resolved. July 28, 2021-We came to a financial settlement on the vintage purses and one of a kind reversible designer purses. Awaiting info on other. If items were donated there should be a full accounting receipt. July 29, 2021-Owner said she was looking into it and would contact me. Now Sept 30, and have heard nothing. Run away! These people are con artists! They will contact you until they have your items and a signed contract, then you'll never hear from them again. My husband and I have attempted to contact them repeatedly and have not received an email, text, or phone call. We haven't received a penny from them for the sale of our items. They are complete scammers. They take advantage of people hurting from losing love ones. And while you are trusting them to help settle an estate, they steal your items and never answer you again. Purchased a ton of items from this company never had a problem until now. Couldn't pick up due to a death in the family which threw our day into chaos... texted less than an hour after they closed on the day of pick up to make arrangements. Texted again in right when they opened the next day... and again and again.... Finally got a response at 2pm... item was already "gone". I had referred quite a few people to their website. This company got my item and my money... which is a win win for them. I will not purchase from this company again. The shipping company they use is rude and extremely overpriced. A 3 lb lot will cost over $18 to ship. Horrible surprise when one lot of old watches that cost $31.90 after reasonable fee's added. BIDDERS BEWARE! Romital Shipping Center is a complete rip-off. USPS 'if it fits it ships' box goes up to 70 lbs @ $7.95. So they charge an over $10 fee to ship a simple box that weight 3 lbs? read more

The moving of the furniture went smoothly, but they do not take any type of inventory as they load the truck- they just take what you tell them. We had numerous items turn up missing that we thus far have not been compensated for. Other items that were ours were sold but not under our name. I'd beware of using them again.- (Got a call from Keesha, the owner of Gallery One. Was great talking to her, looks like there were some misunderstandings on both sides. Be aware that they will start your furniture items at a $5 - yes $5 - bid. I had a Fours Hands metal and glass cabinet originally @ $2,000 that they sold for $75. A representative came to my house and went over everything beforehand - never mentioned that my items would start at $5. Additionally: they are not BBB accredited.
