Unfortunately, the doctor has to actually do a procedure and that is where this office failed our family. My husband and our 17 year old son needed root canals done, so we selected this office from our insurance plan, made the appointment and went in. Everything seemed fine, although I thought it a bit odd that we had to have a second appointment to finish the procedure, which I hadn't heard of before, even though I've had several root canals myself. Our regular dentist assured us that this had been standard operating procedure in the past and many that are done that way end up better than the procedures done in one visit. Even though the doctor is young, I accepted this explanation because it's possible she was trained in an institution that teaches older techniques as well and she found that one to be to her liking. We had the work done in November/December of 2015. Starting in February 2016, my husband's tooth that she had done the work on got infected and our regular doctor told us that the procedure wasn't completed from what he could see in the xray. When my husband called the office to make another appointment to have it finished again, the receptionist had a hard time figuring out what he was talking about and put the doctor on, who insisted that the work was complete and she didn't need to see him. He's been on antibiotics on and off, mostly on for the last 4 months trying to get this doctor to see him, then giving up and trying to get a new approval for a new procedure to be done by a new dentist. The new doctor tells us if the new procedure isn't successful that my husband may have to undergo jaw surgery and lose the tooth anyway. If that isn't bad enough, our son started complaining of pain in the area of his root canal a couple of days ago. We took him to our regular dentist today, who took an xray and said his root canal will also have to be done again. One procedure doesn't go as planned, I can understand, but both of the procedures we brought to you to be done go awry, I can't help but blame the practitioner. Based upon our experiences with this doctor, I would recommend you choose another doctor, if you have the option.

Shortly after my daughters braces were removed, within less than 6 months, we noticed her draw was becoming crooked. We followed up with them and they stated that it could be genetics as to why the jaw was crooked. Our dentist confirmed the crooked appearance but works not confirm the reason being genetics. After consulting a surgeon for Orthognathic surgery, her jaw placement as seen in X-rays is fine and properly aligned within the socket. We were told the crookedness is due to her cross bite. We were thinking the cross bite resulted from her crooked jaw, but now we can't feel that throughout her Orthodontic treatment and the couple issues we encountered with her bite being off consistently during that process, their tricks to keep her on track: used a glue/lift to balance her bite was a failed attempt to properly address and fix the issue. I'd like to know how many other patients experienced a crooked jaw and were told the same thing-it was generic and not as a result of their expedited, self made hardware. Needless to say, there will be more consultations scheduled with any other office but Tenbrooks.

The notices I received directed me to contact Absecon Family Dental with billing questions -- I left multiple messages and never received a single callback. After a month of silence, I paid a bill I was explicitly told I didn't owe. Their billing system is disorganized, lacks transparency, and holds patients financially accountable for the office's own mistakes. I would not recommend any practice in this group.

When you go to any dentist/specialist, you'll have to pay at least $200.00. Nothing is free. His fees for root canals are the same as everyone else. His office is very clean. He made sure that I was comfortable at all times. I have no tooth pain after, which is great! He kept taking X-rays to make sure my teeth were well done. It didn't cost extra for that. I have nothing bad to say about my experience yesterday. I'd recommend them especially for people who are afraid of the dentist. He was more gentle and kind than the other dr. that did a root canal 2 months ago. They got me in the next day. No one else seemed to care. They did.
