I've been a patient for about 35 years now. I loved Dr. Ciechanowski and how he really knew who I was and my family. He was kind and patient. Since he retired, by experience with Dr. Patel has not been positive. However, I switched to Dr. Carey, and I am so happy I did! Dr. Carey is kind, patient, and I can tell that he really cares about his patients. He took his time and made sure I was comfortable during my fillings. The office staff, hygienists, and dental assistants are also kind and patient. I'm glad I can continue to feel good about being a patient here now that I am under Dr. Carey's care. read more

Dr. Patel is the absolute worst kind of dentist--the kind who sees dollar signs instead of patients. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that his top priority wasn't my dental health but how much money he could squeeze out of me. He pushed unnecessary procedures, used scare tactics to justify them, and had zero interest in explaining alternative options. I got a second opinion afterward, and surprise, surprise--half the things he claimed I "urgently" needed weren't necessary at all. Just a pathetic attempt to pad his pockets. The whole office runs like a business focused on profits over people. If you want an honest dentist who actually cares about your health, stay far away from Dr. Patel. I called to cancel my appointment the day before because I had a fever. The office employee told me she would put me on the cancellation list and call me to get me in for the next cancellation. 2 weeks later I hadn't heard back so I called to follow up. I was told that the employee never cancelled my appointment so I was charged a $50 no show fee and they are booked out for 7 months. Then, she mailed me the bill for $50 8 times in a week. I called the office back and the office manager told me I'm lying and dr. Patel refused to talk to me about their negligence. This is the WORST Dentist I have EVER encountered. I came in for a routine cleaning and examine. I was not given a cleaning but X-rays and a one minute examine by the dentist. The dentist did not even introduce himself to me. Later, I found his name was Dr. Patel. He only talked to the Dental Assistant and told me the front office will contact me for a deeper cleaning in 4-5 weeks. I left without a dental plan for my teeth or any explanation for what I needed done. They charged my insurance for X-rays and examine and gave me little information about the next steps. After leaving, I immediately called my insurance company to understand why I didn't even get a cleaning or a explanation for treatment. My insurance called and spoke to Renee for dental codes to explain treatment to me. Renee was extremely rude and acted like given four dental codes was a disservice. Then told my carrier, she NEVER submitted a pre authorization to them. So my insurance company asked again for the codes and she was rude and said do you want me to file pre authorization or not. My insurance company put a complaint against the office and I transferred my care to another local dentist who not only provided a cleaning but a detailed exam about the health of my teeth. In short, it seems Seaview Dental Arts only cares about the MONEY, not the health of the customers. Beware... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

During the pandemic, I had an appointment with Seaview Dental. As is my custom, I arrived half an hour early for my appointment. I checked in and was told to sit in the waiting area, and that someone would see me shortly. After waiting a few minutes, another patient checked in, and I was then told to go to my car and wait until I was called to enter. I felt so humiliated and discriminated against. I expressed how I felt, but they insisted that I go back to my car and wait. (I am terrified of the dentist.) I was so upset that I left. A month ago, I made an appointment for May 23, 2024, which was confirmed three times. On May 23, 2024, just hours before my appointment, I received a phone call from Dr. Patel informing me that he refuses to see me because of the previous incident. If you need to replace a tooth or more so you can smile with confidence, then call this office and ask to see Dr Patel! He and his partners did my implant without pain (yes!) and it looks and feels great! And if you need your teeth professionally cleaned, there are some of the best dental hygienists there to do just that! Everyone who is employed there is a pleasure to talk to and will assist you in any way! Even if your dental insurance doesn't cover certain procedures, the office manager will work with you on a payment plan. Dr Patel has hired the best of the best for his patients! Seldom do I give 5 stars but dr Patel and his staff Renee are worthy! I had a Saturday morning dental emergency And never been here before since I am on vacation. Renee called me back early Saturday and said I can come right in. I was apprehensive coming to a strange new dental office and critical if I made a good choice. Digital X-ray immediate and massage chair nice touch. My tooth surgery paperwork and procedure was not only done within an hour my dental chair gave me a massage during my procedure.work was professional clean efficient and reasonable. dr Patel and his staff is awesome read more

I've been coming to Seaview Dental Arts for close to 20 years and I've got to say that this place is fantastic. Professional service from the receptionists all the way up to the doctors. I generally see Dr. Walt but Dr Dan is a great guy too. As it turns out both doctors are retiring but the new Dr Patel is fantastic as well. Recently they put a lot of money into the building to upgrade equipment and X-ray technology. Overall I highly recommend this place but is suggest you make your appointment early, they tend to book up quick (I'm not even sure if they are taking new patients ). read more

Dr Patel is not skilled at listening to patient observations. He also illegally allows technicians to perform work without his supervision. His work is hurried and professional errors are frequent. Dr. Patel and his team at Seaview Dental Arts in Galloway really took great care of me (my tooth and jaw pain is gone).
