Steve is a great teacher. I started playing at the age of 32 and in only a short time feel like I've come such a long way, and that would not have been possible without Steve. I've learned so much more then just a few songs that I like, these lessons have given me a better understanding of why certain notes and chord progressions work musically. All lessons have had a great balance of playing music, with a dash of theory mixed in so I understand why I'm doing what I'm doing. I got a used speaker cabinet here that was in good condition for about $75 less than what guitar center would charge for the same thing. depending on when you go the inventory can be hit or miss, but they list everything on their website, so check that out. the people there can be hit or miss too. If you've never been there before it can be a little tricky to find, the address lists that they are on Mundy street, which is true, but you have to turn down a drive off mundy that leads to a few different plazas. when you go up that drive you need to hit a right at the first plaza, they are right next the Ashley Furniture, across the street from Smokey Bones.

I had the displeasure of speaking to Natalie who was ignorant and unprofessional from the moment we met. When I told her I was looking for a guitar that I sold years ago she said "ha, good luck with that". Everything that I said was met with a snide and condescending remark. She said several times during our interaction "I'm not trying to be mean" and "I'm not trying to be dismissive" when in fact it did seem that she was being both mean and dismissive. However, it didn't seem that she had to put much effort in doing so. I asked if I could leave my contact information in case they came across any information for me. She refused and said "we have too many people looking for guitars". Imagine that, people looking for guitars at a guitar store. Natalie is a rude and unpleasant person. She concluded the conversation by simply turning around and walking away. Natalie should not be in a customer-facing role and has no business treating anyone the way she does. I was glad that a friend was with me because I was so appalled by the interaction I wasn't sure that it really happened. This was such an unnecessarily negative experience and I don't really understand why someone would work in a guitar store if they have no interest in guitars or helping people connect with guitars that have special meaning to them.
