It is not at all like your "typical" workout center. Everyone supports you right where you are in your fitness journey. If you need modifications, they give them to you and no one makes your 'feel bad' for it. They all encourage you to be your best and push yourself (gently). I'm probably in the best shape I've been in for years! They offer not only cycling, core, yoga, pilates, barre and strength classes, but infrared therapy, salt booth, massage, PT, IV and more! Walking in, I received a friendly greeting by what seemed like the owner or manager. He gave me a quick tour of the new facility, and was helpful in answering any questions. Bliss Boutique Fitness offers multiple yoga, cycling, pilates and aerial yoga classes. Don't be shy if you're a beginner, their classes are great whether you're brand new or highly experienced. For the flow yoga class I attended, I believe Haley was the instructor if I remember her name correctly. Her yoga class flowed together really well, and her instructions were clear without being a distraction from your breath. She was able to provide multiple modifications whether you wanted to keep your practice easy or more advanced. I also appreciated that she had already set out mats, towels, and blocks for us to utilize before the class began. I had brought my own mat, but there's was more convenient since it was already ready for us. As far as the facility goes, it's very clean!! The natural lighting really makes the yoga areas zen, and the cycling room had black out curtains to make the strobe lights and music more fun. Restrooms, changing rooms, hand wash station, cubicle type lockers, and shower are all available to use as well. I came here as a classpass user to try this place out, but because I enjoyed it so much, I honestly might become a member! Hopefully next time I'll get to try their cycling and aerial yoga classes, no experience is needed if you're feeling skeptical. I highly recommend Bliss Boutique Fitness to everyone in the Friendswood area!

I attended my first intro class at ReformHer last weekend and immediately fell in love with this studio. As someone who grew up doing Pilates as a dance, I've been struggling to find a good Pilates studio that had small class sizes and attentive instruction. I'm glad that the "big box" studios like Club Pilates and Solidcore have brought Pilates and Pilates-inspired fitness to the masses, but it just wasn't the Pilates that I originally fell in love with. Imagine my delight when I moved to a new apartment this year and discovered ReformHer just a quick 5-7 minute drive down the road! Kelsey is an absolute delight of a woman. She is attentive to client needs while also pushing you to get out of your comfort zone. I particularly enjoyed that she took the time to understand our reasons for coming to Pilates and pointed out specific exercises that would be especially pertinent for our concerns. Because the classes are small (5 students max), they are tailored for the individuals in attendance. I also found that Kelsey's packages/rates are very fair for the level of instruction and variety of apparatus in the studio (oh yes, this is not just your basic reformer Pilates or prop-less Pilates - you will use that Magic Ring and you will like it!) I signed up for the 8x/month package for $229, which is just under $30/class - unheard of rates for boutique Pilates. For folks who are looking for very rigid classical style Pilates with the standard sequence... it doesn't exist in the area, sorry. BUT! I'll give the reassurance that while Kelsey's exercises are more contemporary, her teaching style is quite classical. She focuses on alignment, activating that core powerhouse, is meticulous about precision and control, gives great corrections, etc. There is also NO talk about "earning your lunch" or "burning calories" or any of that mess. Oh, and this is completely superficial of me, but the studio is also SO DARN CUTE!! with soft mauves and pinks and soft lighting. It makes me excited to go to class haha.

Tonight was my first night. I did a private lesson for one hour and I got an intro into different types of working out from yoga and martial arts. I had a ton of fun and the owners are very nice. They are easy to talk to and you can do or not do whichever exercises you want. They are also super flexible which is very important to me and something I was never able to get with a gym membership like 24 hour fitness, fitness connection, and even private Gyms for personal training. I highly recommend this place for anyone and everyone regardless of age or body type!

Don't let this place scam you with their fake $1 first month fee. Mind you I asked the guy at the front desk if I could do one day pass just to check it out and he said it's cheaper to get one month for $1 and then you can cancel it if you didn't like it. Now, I went one time and didn't like it and won't be able to make it due to relocation and I am being told I can't cancel it until they withdraw another full payment before they cancel it. So that $1 fee on their website is the trap to get people to sign up which is wrong. I don't mind paying a one day pass but not tricking people to your fake deals advertised.
