This Tesco is pretty big, so it has everything imaginable and for a supermarket a good wine selection and the prices were not bad either. The service was horrible though, we were trying to find a price for one of the wines they had out so we tried to track down an employee. When we finally found one they just brushed us off with the comment "scanner is in Isle 19", we went to isle 19 and we found the scanner alright but it did not work, so we went back to the employee who now seemed annoyed and told us to ask one by the tills while the two tills that were open had 6 people in line. Not the best service in the world, really horrible in fact. We got the price of the bottle after waiting in line for 10 minutes and we bought the bottle as the price was decent for the quality of wine. The lady at the till was very friendly though, which was nice.

Prices are overall pretty cheap, you can eat here for less than €10. The staff were pretty nice, not much to say there, and the cafe itself was fairly clean with nice seating. However it does get full at lunch time on weekdays since it's near the hospital, but they do take aways as well.

They were delicious. My sister had an almond croissant that she said was also delicious. They had a variety of different teas. The second time I came in the morning, I had the fruit scone. It was also delicious with little bits of dried fruit in it. I also bought one to go. The same person waited on me both days. They were very nice and answered some questions about the different pastries. They also gave me an extra jam. They told us there were several locations in Galway. I would highly recommend.

As I walked with my coffee, well it didn't taste great at all. I was disappointed as I expected it to be delicious but it was ok, just ok so that ruined here out for a return including lunch. I was so delighted when my landlord directed me to this establishment. I'm able to get everything I need in 1 go, including household cleaning products. The staff are wonderful; friendly, kind and helpful. A bit more expensive than the bigger stores, like a Tesco, but well worth it. Also, an impressive variety of wines, spirits, baked goods, meats. So happy to have them as my neighborhood shop!

However, I loved looking at the postcards and pictures on the first floor as well as the extra seating and gallery on the other two floors. The barista explained the notes of my coffee which was wonderful and educational.
