Earthbox was developed by commercial farmers to make it easy for home gardeners. It is a type of growing system with self-watering containers that have a water reservoir built in that is capable of irrigating the plants for several days. The system says it doubles the yield, reduces water usage by 60% and uses 28% less fertilizer. I like that the box itself is made of recycled plastic and can be used year after year! The people working there are helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't know the tomatoes they had so someone helped me pick two. I also picked strawberry and broccoli plugs (already started small plant). They have classes on Wednesday and Saturday at 10am to explain the system and answer questions. I will definitely be back and recommend Earthbox Garden. I don't use the Earthbox system though will be looking into it. And this is the place to find out about it!

She started explaining planting techniques I've literally known since I'm 4 yo. Also, first time anyone ever pushed soil purchase there. Then I guess he told his employees to follow me around as if a woman with no pockets and a cell phone was going to steal something, just felt completely unwelcome.
