I've had quite a few barbers there and each was friendly, professional and skilled in their craft. The place is old school meets modern flair. EV cut my hair about 8 months ago and I'm finally recovering from that experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was growing my hair out but going in for a routine trim. This was my 3rd time using him. I took my son and myself to try a new barber yesterday. Boy was I surprised with the great service! We both saw Christina and had the best service ever! I am super picky when it comes to my son and I's hair. Not only did Christina do a phenomenal job, but she had my son chatting the whole time! He's not usually jumping into conversations, but he had a blast talking Star Wars with her. We will definitely be back time and time again. The shop was super clean as well! I had an appointment today, came 10 mins earlier respecting the hair-master, but received an opposite attitude from her. During my appointment she was serving another client. I was waiting for 15 mins, but there was no sign that she was going to finish with him and call me. Nether the master did tell me for how long I will have to wait, nor offered me anything. It was very disrespectful to my time and a horrible experience for me. I hope they fix the lack of staff. read more

My salon I had been using for 15 years suddenly closed and I had to look for a new place. Tried this location, although, it was more than I usually pay for a basic scissor cut. I thought I'd give it a go with the advertised, from their Cedar Park website: "A classic haircut from Gambuzza's Barbershop - Cedar Park includes shampooing, scalp and neck massaging, and expert cutting and styling." "Just let your barber know what you're looking for, and they'll work to cut your hair exactly how you want." The only thing I got from the above was a haircut, not my way, but the stylist's way! My bad experience started when I walked in. I was not greeted and then the stylist, EV, came to the counter without even saying hello, even after I said, "Hi". I told him I had a 10:30 appointment, He still didn't speak. He looked at the computer monitor and then said, "follow me". To keep the story shorter, I told him what I wanted, he did what he wanted without much conversation except him telling me I shouldn't do a scissor cut and I should do a razor cut. No shampooing, before or after, just a rinse out. No massaging of scalp or neck. He seemed a little miffed that I had mousse gel in my hair and I told him I thought it would be okay since I would be getting a shampoo and it would wash out. He did spend some time scissor cutting before he started using the razor. I paid the $40, plus a $10 tip for the time he did spend scissor cutting. He saw the tip, did not give me any type of thanks and proceeded to take the next customer who was waiting. Guess a 25% tip on what he DID NOT do was not good enough for him. A few days later, I got an email for a customer survey, which I completed. I stated my whole bad experience. I have yet to hear from anyone, which has now been about three weeks. Guess Gambuzza's doesn't care about less than stellar reviews and the customers who take the time to complete one. I would stay away from this location, and from the stylist EV, if you want to get what you pay for! read more

Parking is horrible.. "The Parke" @ Cedar Park shopping mall is still in the old COVID mode with most parking blocked with pick up and handicap so parking is hard. Scheduling is a headache, they looked for me an appointment, only 1 was available there but they looked up the Round Rock location & 8 minutes later the appointment was set for later in the day. Gave them my name and contact number & bam I should have been done. But no, 10 minutes later of unneeded typing, showing your fees & whatever..we left, confirming our appointment at 4:15 in RR. Irony is none of it mattered...35 minutes later a text was sent (to the opposite number I had stated to text) stating the appointment was inaccurate...no appointment was available. Funny too, with all the waisted time, had we started the 30 minute allotted hairstyling appointment, it would have been almost over. The place looked nice and it was clean. There was 3 stylist working with no receptionist anymore. There was no frills it looked a bit vacant. Just like the rest, a now hiring sign is posted. read more
