Then I decided to take matters in my own hands by looking for his new haircut place and found good reviews about M&B. AMBIANCE/LOCATION: This place didn't disappoint. They have individual cubicles for each hairdresser with their names in front. The hair washing stations are built-in right in front of the mirror so you don't have to move out of the chair like a lady salon. The place is nice and super clean which is a plus. They have an electronic sign-up system when you walk in. TIP: you make an appointment via their website where you can choose your hairdresser, and services which would give you a price or estimated price (the amount is not including tip). SERVICE: Staff are friendly with great communication (some of them are bilingual) and engage in conversation with their clients. As soon as you walk in, you can sign yourself or one of the staff would greet you right away and let you know if you have to wait or they will be right with you. My husband's hairdresser is Suk. She is super friendly, sweet, and understands what you need and she also understands how to work with your hair type. After his haircut at this place, I haven't complained as it's much easier for me to style my husband's hair! It's a win-win or help-me-help you situation. PRICE: this is NOT a $19.99 haircut place for sure, but you get what you pay and in my opinion it's reasonable for the overall services you get. I ended up with a significantly shorter cut that was so thinned out I feel like I have so much disconnection in my hair. The back is so short in parts that I can hardly grab it with my fingers, let alone straighten it. I also have naturally curly hair so I can only imagine the nightmare of how I'm going to deal with those pieces once wet and styling until they're long enough to deal with. I also want to preface, my hair was well past my shoulders, very health and had no face framing or short layers when I walked in so it should have been pretty straightforward.
