It's a lot, around 500,000 dollars per year. A contractor friend then told us about Boys and Girls of America, so we started taking things there. We learen everything earned at the resale shop (on 377) stays in Hood County. Nice. Then our neighbor started volunteering at People Helping People (PHP), which we did not know about. We identified more with PHP and what they do. No one gets paid. It's all 100% volunteer, all the way to the top. We even saw a past Granbury mayor volunteering here! So now we take our items to PHP, and have even shopped here. There are two, indoor, resale shops. When we need something, we come here first. I found a great pair of matching cufflinks and tie bar here. Thúy got some nice knives to use in the garden and some cake pans. So now PHP is our go to place for donating, and shopping for hard to find items. The owner and his wife always greet you as you walk through the door. As others have said, it is predominantly a music and gun shop but I will add to that, coins and some jewelry. Their pricing is average, not high, not low. What I really like is that you get a sense that it is an honest business and these are members of the community who represent it well. As with any pawn shop, know the value of what you have or what you are looking for and they are willing to strike a fair deal for both parties. I recently made a trade with them and was very happy with the deal we made. I have always been treated well in this business as a browser and look forward to my relationship with then as an ongoing customer

I parked on the east side of the pawn shop in the shade, because there is no shade at the barbershop, and by law he couldn't let me bring Emma in. The owner of the pawn shop came out telling me to move, even though my pickup wasn't in anyone's way, and the temperature was over 100 degrees. I showed her my little dog, and she said she didn't care, I needed to go park in the sun.

I figured it didn't hurt to drop in just to see their selection. You first walk into the framing side of the store that also houses a lot of neat signs and house knickknacks, candles, etc. The adjoining store attached to it is for booklovers such as myself. Used paperbacks are my specialty and I love them more than new hardbacks. Every book in the store was less than $3.77 with most on the clearance rack going for .50. They even had bundled books for certain authors (Dean Koontz, James Patterson, and Janet Evanovich, etc.) that would still go for $3.77 for three of them. I ended up finding a great find on the perfect coffee table book, a sign for my woman cave room, and 4 softbacks that came out to 14 bucks! Four stars for them not having the greatest selection on travel and books related to food/cooking. Those were a bit outdated.

We originally went into the store in the last week of January for a quote to get some clothing…read moremade. We then were told to email the images needed to be printed onto the clothing to All About sports email. I hadn't heard anything back and decided to go to the store and see if something was missing from my email. This was on 2/14/25 after being told I would get a email response back. So now that it has been three weeks, I was told everything looks good and that it was a busy time of year due to sports and how much printing they were doing. I completely understand and paid in store that same day for the clothing to be ordered and prints to be put onto the clothing. I was told that the clothing would be ordered and should be in store the next week and printing should be completed the following week so I was expecting around a 2/28/25 finish date. After checking back in again last week I was told the clothes were in store and that they were just waiting on what font we needed on a certain area of the design. The font had been the hold up but I was never contacted by email or phone to ask about it. I had to go into the store to ask what's the hold up before I was told about the font question and within 10 minutes, I was able to provide the font and the design was ready. I was told the print should happen last week and be ready for pickup this week (the week of 3/10/25). I decided to check in today and see where we were at and was told "most likely we were waiting on clothes to come in and the artwork took a longer time create so the screen print will be done this weekend and be ready early next weekend" after being told the previous week the clothes were in and ready to be printed any day. This entire process has been a disaster for a small business like us trying to get some clothing made and I am very unimpressed with the communication. I will not be coming back here again for business.

I went into Strut Your Stuff only to find a super cool store with lots of amazing options. The owner, Barb, carries a lot of really nice jeans. I looked through, but what I was in need of was something a little lighter. I found a few nice tops that I thought would be hundreds of dollars. I could not believe how reasonable the prices were!! I will have to leave a little more room in my suitcase the next time I visit this awesome little town! I stopped myself from buying piles of jewelry. This store carries everything from gorgeous turquoise to long, tassled necklaces. Everything is really gorgeous!! Barb offered us a cool drink when we went in. I was so grateful because it was a very warm day. You never felt rushed or pushed. I'll be back!!
