My guess is that Cassi Manner believes that since she is a pseudo-influencer on Instagram that it automatically makes her a Social Media/Digital Marketing expert. There are, of course flaws in this logic. 1. Not everybody whom she takes on as a client drives clicks through bikini pictures (not that there is anything wrong with this, even in Cassi's case). 2. The talent quotient between becoming successful solely through posting bikini pictures on Instagram and understanding the nuance of digital marketing in a commercial enterprise is wide. When you first speak with Cassi, she gives you the Irving Rosenfeld in "American Hustle" routine - she doesn't know if you would be a good fit ... for her. But, surprise, you ALWAYS are going to be a good fit if you can cough up the $5,000 a month. And she then of course purports to be an expert in your field of business. The reality is (and perhaps this is good, I don't know), Cassi does very little. This is all outsourced to other people throughout the country. Again, there isn't anything wrong with it, but when you have disparate persons not working together on a cogent strategy - and there is seemingly zero leadership (Cassi), you aren't going to get the result you want. Thus, predictably, the "discovery" phase of the engagement will take three months and absolutely nothing will happen in terms of actual marketing. Most competent digital marketing professionals can handle the "discovery" in an afternoon. Nevertheless, you will be passed around her various sub-contractors to have needless conversations that rehash the same information you provided Cassi but seemingly she was too lazy to forward. Eventually, when Cassi realizes that she can literally offer you zero benefit, she will send you a two-line email informing you that you are not a good fit for her company and are no longer afforded the distinct honor of paying her $5,000 per month (for nothing). Note that this email will come 3-4 months following you hiring her, during which time nothing has happened on any level whatsoever other than you having lit $20,000 on fire. Her instagram is a good follow; Cassi preaches all this self-love and kum ba yah nonsense. She should perhaps stick to that and pimping skin care products instead of misrepresenting herself to small businesses. read more

I would give them one star or zero stars but the representative who was "assigned" to me was well intentioned. The owner is a scam I interviewed 10 agencies. I had a scripted series of questions i asked each agency then reviewed the answers. Long story short, one key question was if her employees were under her direction as W2 employees or outsourced. I was assured they were hers. They are not. Understanding that this is the nature of this business , it just speaks volumes for the huge difference between the sales process and reality. The owner was completely uninvolved unless I had insisted I wanted her attention (like my customers do of me). She is all about delegation and took zero accountability to what was needed up being a bust of a campaign. I wasted 10K on this company and did not get ONE single lead. Well, not totally true....I received ZERO leads from my FB ads (11to be exact) that were well outside of my geographic and demographic targeting. Phone numbers that weren't real, emails that were not real. Got NOTHING. What made things more frustrating is the blame was shifted to me instead of taking accountability insisting that I kept changing the plan, which I did not. The social media posts were USELESS, most of them not even including my phone number, web site, links, or even a mention of my product. The ads had typos and grammatical errors and they even misspelled my profession as . when I was silly. I could not get reports from them with her insisting she knew nothing about FB advertising or social media posts. She said the reports were meaningless and that they just showed a trend that more people were clicking on them. I saw this on her screen for a 5 minute call. She "timed out" infrequent calls to 15 minutes and really was quite obvious in her desire to not waste her time as her employee was the expert. Actually used those words. She will say that our store website was convoluted and confusing (it is) but our campaign was not based on e commerce. She missed one of the most basic fundamentals that as an expert should have offered, which I am know starting. Finally, I have asked a retired social medial executive and consultant who I know to conduct a forensics review of the data from Facebook, IG, and Google. The results are not totally in yet but upon testing it was horrendous. they did not follow best practices and were advertising to areas that did not match our selected criteria. He is still trying g to find why. She never took the time to figure it out as she was not an "expert", lol. I understand advertising results are a process and they could not guaranty them. I intentionally did not place pressure on them but supported them until I could no longer. She offered a 900 credit against her so called management fees. The bottom line , I got ZERO leads, mistakes, and absolutely no confidence or value from the money I spent other than the the good will for a short period of time by one of her "employees" (who by the way, owns her own agency and is a contractor). She is an actually an IG model I subsequently found out and has raised herself to the Peter principle. HORRIBLE experience despite trying so hard to support them.
