They had plenty of selection, with more than just games, such as posters, consoles, controllers, etc. If they didn't have something, they offered to call another store for me to check (I didn't need it that bad but it was nice of them lol). A very nicely kept store featuring many games for an assortment of consoles, also at fair competitive prices. The staff were very nice and not too pushy, and quite accommodating. The selection for older consoles prior to 2000 can be a bit one sided, having a major stock in throw-away sports games, but the rare gem is still here and there. I would wager this has more of a selection for accessories and alternative controllers then your average store, as well as random Merch, so here's an option for people who prefer not to play 5ft from their screen. After visiting the other location, I had to see what they had here. This location seems to have more retro and systems, but either location is worth checking out for any system you're interested in. Walking in, you hear familiar game music that plays in the background as you see gamers thrashing on arcade cabinets and talking about the latest console games. It's not just a store, it's a place for the gamer community to meet up, which is great. Game stores should have culture. They had more rarities in this store than the other store, which is saying something because both have great stock and impressive rarity. Collector's prices, but you should expect that at a game store this knowledgeable about games. They had three staff members when I was there and all were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. If you're at all interested in games, it's definitely worth checking out. read more

This store is ok. My wife played Tetris for the 64 as a kid so I got her the game from here and Mario 64. Turns out Mario 64 was not what she wanted try to return it they only do store credit . That's fine got two games and new controller both games do not work and a new controller is flawed as well. I will not go back as it was a 40 dollar transaction and not worth the drive from Lyons . Bought an Xbox 360 there so my mom could cut the cord(cancel her cable). Was promised it would work with no hard drive. Turned out not to be true. Had to buy a hard drive. Bought an Xbox game and was told it would work with the 360. Also no. Bought a 360 game because that should work right? No. The problem is the Xbox they sold me cannot play any games. They sold me a broken console with no hard drive promising it would work. Nice people I guess but not very knowledgeable and sold a bunk machine. read more

I got a chance to check this store out the other day and it was just as impressive as their other location in Loveland. Great selection and prices. It's really nice to have 2 stores to pull from now when you are looking for something specialized and it's not too far between them to make the trip if one doesn't have what you are looking for. You can't go wrong at either location honestly and they can check the other store for you to see if they have what you are looking for. I have also traded in a few games lately at the other store and was quite impressed with the amount they pay for trade in compared to the chain video game stores. I really like this place. They have a good selection and even better prices. However, we went in to trade some games. There was only one other customer in there when we went in. The employees said that they'll help us as soon as they can. Then we proceeded to wait 20 minutes while they helped everyone that came in the store after us. When they finally helped us, we were out in two minutes. It was really frustrating. read more

I went in today to see if they had a copy of The Last of Us for ps4. Sadly no, but the gentleman there was excellent help in finding a couple games for my 11 year old nephew. This kind of game store is a rarity now days. The staff there is great they make an effort to give great and personal service. This game store has a lot packed into it they have swag, retro systems games and accessories, cards, anime, and they do events too! There trade in policy is great to boot! I can't give it five stars because the cards are really hard to look thru srry. But I still really love this place. read more

The employees are knowledgable, and the collection they have is pretty vast. A lot of the older games are overpriced in my opinion, but that's the same story for most vintage game stores. Sometimes you can get a good deal however, and it's always nice to see things in the flesh as opposed to buying online. I purchased a used PS2 controller about 2 years ago for $14 and it's still like brand new. Couldn't be more pleased.

I started going to this game store in 2013, and each visit tends to be a good one. I have bought countless games for various systems and even have bought a few game consoles here, and for the most part they have always tended to work fine and the games are fairly cheap. Even when I got an occasional game that didn't work, they were very good about returning it and exchanging it for a different copy or just cleaning the copy if it was a cartridge. Overall, probably the best game store I've ever gone to and one I would recommend for retro and modern gamers alike. read more

Cheap games, friendly atmosphere, nice employees, and just an overall great store!

Nice to see a lot of the rare games they have that other stores do not. However, everything they have is way over priced! I am suspicious that the way they stock their inventory is by buying a load of stuff off of eBay and then marking it up an additional 25% or more. In the end this is a terrible practice, as it helps to over inflate the retro games pricing even more then it already is! I also suspect that their trade in values are garbage as well! I don't see this store lasting very long. These types of stores are ruining retro game collecting, Period! Sadly, you are better off shopping off of eBay for these games, rather then going to this store! You will get better pricing. Better yet go find these games in the wild! It's half the fun! I can't wait till I can find a local game store that has reasonable pricing (not marked up from ebay), good trade in value and friendly knowledgeable staff that are willing to work with you on deals and what not.... They have NO IDEA what they are doing in that store. Do not go into that store to ask for ideas on how to get more memory to an XBOX 360. The staff does not know what to do when asked ideas. They gave us the wrong information and now we are stuck spending more money elsewhere with no money back but in store credit, I will not be going back at all. It's a good store if you are looking for more obscure games, most of the popular games are marked up such as $70 for super smash bros melee (worth $50 as of today with the case). I have attended a few of the events they hold here and had a blast. They have a large selection of games from just about every console, dvds, plush, and lots of other cool stuff. I had purchased a gameshark from them for the N64, but when I got home it was not working (very typical for them as they were poorly made and its hard to find a working one) and I had already lost the recite for it. When I brought it back the guy was very understanding and replaced it for me and gave me a new recite. He tested a lot of the gamesharks as well and pulled the ones that were not working properly to fix any problems in the future read more
