I didn't realize that I had already reviewed this Gamestop. (Hi, I have a bad memory, apparently.) But everything that I mentioned in my 2018 review still applies. This is still a great store to browse for video games. The people still stay out of your way and just let you be. There are still lots of options, but not too many. It's still a great brick-and-mortar video game shop to buy or browse for video games and video-game accessories. My oldest son inherited an old-school Nintendo DS, and he is always on the lookout for games to add to his collection. He didn't immediately see any on display here at the store, but when we asked the friendly person behind the counter, the friendly person opened a drawer that was full of DS games. My son found one that he's been wanting! So, it helps to talk to the people behind the counter if you have a special need or request. They seem knowledgable and ready to help you. read more

I went in person due to the fact that ordering online and getting a hold of Customer Service is impossible. The man I worked with helped me and even was able to have the manager come in to sort out my broken console. DO NOT BUY ONLINE- go to a store. I have shopped at this store on and off for over 10 years. Always knowledgeable and helpful. Customer Support Line?? Waste of time, energy, etc. I would rate trying to get ahold of Customer Support as a negative number. Horrible and embarrassing for the owner to have it be so difficult to talk to a real person!!! This is my son's favorite store. I feel like we spend more time at Gamestop then we do at our home . Great selection of new and used games and if they don't have it in the store you can always order it and have it shipped to your residence. read more

I called this afternoon to ask a question. The guy hung up on me as soon as I began to speak. I called back thinking it was a mistake and when he answered I let him know I had a quick question and we had been disconnected. He hung up again on me. Very disappointed in the customer service. I never come to Game Stop ever for good reasons. It's easier to get games digitally, so I'm surprised places like GameStop are even open. This brings me to my next point. The Clay Terrace location says they are supposed to be open today August 22nd 2023 at 11am. I arrived at the store at 10:58am thinking maybe the store would be open a little early. The doors were locked so I figured staff was maybe still counting registers and just running behind on opening duties... I walked around Clay Terrace for about 20 minutes before walking back to GameStop. I walk up at 11:20am only to find absolutely NO ONE in the store, doors locked and it's completely dark inside... Who is keeping GameStop open lol? I know I am only one person but this company can eat rocks, I'll continue purchasing my games online. read more

Absolutely an amazing store it saved my third cousins dogs life and also help negotiate the safe realese of the president of Romania's third cousin twice removed, but seriously this is the only store which isn't utterly terrible at selling games, the employees are really nice, they give decent trade-in credit if you have games people actually care about, I got 30$ for some switch games and a third party controller which is pretty good. My only complaint is that the have started focusing a lot more on stuff like Funko Pop's with some of them having absolutely nothing to do with any gaming franchises. Also they have basically no games for any consoles before the 8th generation of consoles ( Xbox one, PS4, Wii U) but also not having basically any Wii U games which is kinda dumb but all around 10/10 experience definitely recommend read more

This location robbed me of $85. I got $100 in gift cards from my in laws that I wanted to use to buy a Joy Con for Nintendo Switch. They were out of stock (and basically told me they are never in stock) so the cashier ordered the Joy Con online and paid with my gift cards. The next day I got an email saying the online order had been cancelled but I would receive refund gift cards in the mail, but I waited a month and they never came. I called the help line and emailed the customer support account and they both told me I had to contact the store. I called the store and they told me to call the help line. Every time I call the help line I wait on hold for an hour and then they tell me to go back to the store. So basically I am out the full price of the Joy Con (and several hours of my time) with nothing to show for it. I'm sure for many basic purchases this store is fine, but just know if anything goes wrong, the customer service is atrocious read more

We love going to GameStop to get games. I've always been impressed with how helpful & friendly the employees are to their customers. Several times I've searched for a game & if the local store didn't have it they'd call around to see if a sister store did. Getting the Pro membership has actually saved me lot of money over the years. Trading in old games also saves money or adds extra points to a membership account. It's true they no longer carry games for older gaming systems (PS1, PS2, GameCube, Xbox) but that's understandable considering so many gamers upgrade to newer systems. They also don't carry Atari, ColecoVision, NES, Sega, or Intellivision but I'm not seeing any complaints about that. When the newest gaming system comes out (for example: PS4) GameStop will usually discount the previous versions' games (i.e. PS3) comparatively to popularity. Most GameStop stores are fairly small so keeping older games in stock would be challenging. I do however have to disagree with a previous reviewer. My son bought a game today & was asked if he wanted "new or used". He asked for new & received his game in a never-been-opened, cellophane wrapped box...totally brand spanking new! Parking at the Clay Terrace location is a bit more difficult but there is plenty of parking in the back lot of you're not afraid of a short walk. read more

GameStop is only for gamers who only play the current systems. The only games that GameStop carriers are for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PSVita, Nintendo DS/3DS, Xbox One, Wii U, and PS4. They no longer carry games for the GameCube, Xbox, and PS2. So if you are wanting to by games for an old system, do not go to GameStop. I would not recommend buying "new" games from this store. GameStop removes the discs from "new" games and puts them into paper disc holders, which could potentially scratch the disc. In my opinion, if the game is removed from the case, that game should be considered used. In conclusion, I would only recommend going to this GameStop to buy used games on a current system. read more

The store itself is very nice and the service is great. The only thing that I find is the worst is the customer-service hot line. I called it cause their website was not working. I called the store and they told me to call the 800 number for help. So I did and was on hold for almost 10 minuets. When they finally answered they told me to either go to their website to take care of what I needed to or go to the store. And they would be able to help me. I'm like your website isn't working and the guy at the store told me to call you and you can help me out. The guy said that only way I could get help was to go to the store. If I could get to the store I would have. But I didn't have any means of getting there. What kind of service do they actually do for us? None that I can see. read more

The staff members are attentive, and this store also sells gently - used apple products, which I didn't know. They helped me find the games I was look in for and also knew what I was talking about when I mentioned a game from all the way back in 2000. read more

I will never give GameStop my business And I hope you don't either. If there was zero stars that would be my rating! I just received the absolute worst service at a business I've ever had. Who has ever heard of not being able to return a game the next day for the full price that you bought it at! I would recommend any other business over GameStop read more
