I spent 15 minutes with an employee Dave, who gave me lower prices than "store credit"on trade ins when I just looked up the prices before. I don't have a printer and wouldn't accept. He also couldn't get a controller to connect properly, so he wouldn't take it, when the controller works, and even turned on first. They also do not take trade in Power A controllers at all for some reason, but will gladly sell them to you. Never again. Manager is rude, was laughing in kids faces who couldn't get a Switch 2 last time I was here. Again I will shop online, Best Buy, or anywhere else to avoid GameStop. Shame. read more

This game stop is unfair they will sell you anything for commission. I came to this store 4 days ago and bought a deluxe/complete edition of a game and I only received the standard. As of right now I have two options give the game back for store credit or take $12 when I paid $22 and they were originally trying to sell it for $30. Please avoid this store! Corporate can't help you! You are better off buying games through your console. At this point I am very irate and the manager probably isn't going to accept the game back because he's full of it. Useless. Walked in to find an extension cable for a VR camera. Besides, the fact that the girl was absolutely useless, and barely made an effort to help me and then instructed me to go on Amazon or somewhere else online to find it even though their store said that they had some in stock makes me wonder why I would ever come back to this place. The best line was when I told her that it said that her store had what I was looking for in stock. During the holidays I was hunting for a set of particular toys for a member of my family. They didn't have then all in the same location so I had to search far and wide like the good Pokemon trainer that I am. I went to about four in a day. What I really appreciated was the willingness of employees to call other stores to have them put items aside for me Saved me time and frustration. This particular Game Stop was a little neater than it's counterparts around the holidays. It didn't have as much random stuff all over the place as other stores I visited. Employees were very friendly and helpful. I have yet to see a rude employee had a game stop. In fact they always like to engage in conversation about the different games and other geek like subjects. As long as I play video games collect figurines and stay my geeky self. I will keep coming back. read more

When I first came, I bought DragonBall xenoverse two, and the disc was the trial version. Around a week later, I came back to get a refund. But lost the receipt. The woman at the register, Katie made the wonderful effort of going to the day I came, finding that I paid with a $50 gift card. On December 19th wednesday 2:35 I walked into this gamestop location on hilsboro powerline and immedately the man with a batman tattoo on his arm was totalled disrespectful, rude, and to be honest he is a disgrace to the gamestop brand. After his rude dialogue, a very nice woman rang me up. She was a doll he was a total you-know-what. I will never go back to this location again because of him. They hit you over the head with trying to get you to join their membership club and to reserve games. I think the employees get beaten after their shift if they haven't met some quota. "Do you want to reserve a game coming out soon?" "Are you sure?" "There are lots of great titles, blah blah and blah are coming out." "You can get extra points on your reward card blah blah..." "Are you sure, you'd really be missing out." "Don't you play games?" "You know you're going to buy some games soon." "This one is a great one." "What kind of games do you like?" "Okay then. Do you have our membership card? It's a great deal blah blah..." O.M.G. Aside from the pushy tactics, they have what you need. The line is always extremely long and it takes forEVER even if all you want to do is ask a question. I completely understand that they are a business, but you do not get much for selling back your old games, and have to pay close to full price for someone else's old games that you are buying- just to give you an example, I have sold three games to purchase one. I understand supply and demand- but we aren't talking about a new game. Either way, it mind boggles me that people are lined up out the door to either sell their games for nothing, or to purchase used games at an OK price, but not the best deal- read more
