I was craving deviled eggs and I wanted to make my own version at home. I only needed a decorated tip for piping the egg yolk mixture. After doing some research, I found that a large star tip was the best to use to avoid clogging. I also found that Michael's was selling the tip at a low price of $1.29. With a 40% off regular-priced item coupon, that would bring it down to $0.77 plus tax. I logged into my account and quickly placed an in-store pickup order. I received an email notification that my order was ready for pickup at the Shoppers Haven Shopping Center. The store was large, clean, and well-organized. It offered a vast selection of supplies for sewing, painting, knitting, crafting, DIY kits, custom frames, seasonal home decor items, baking pans and decorations, and helium-filled balloons. The store looks like it is going out of business. The 50% off is a joke. I bought a greenery pick which used to be a couple of dollars regular price. I saw the sign that said 50% off. The item price was not marked on the tag and of course everything is thrown in together in a couple of bins. When I checked out, the item rang up at $5.00. I thought that it couldn't be right that this item was regular price at $10.00. I asked to see the manager. She looked up the price by the sku # and told me the actual regular price was $20, but in her store the clearance price was $10 marked at 50% off being $5.00. Are you kidding me? Thank God I don't shop in these type stores any more! I can't handle the sticker shock. read more

Craft run today after a long day of gown shopping. Needed tacks for a push pin board to attach photos of events. The daughter grabbed a pack of chrome tacks for $2.00. Something that I just found out was the store offers a separate room to rent for kids craft parties. Prices are somewhat better than Walmart for most items. Easter Glitter & Flocked Bunnies 40% off and Glitter Glaze is on clearance for $5.00. This store seems well managed due to the updated inventory selection, although sadly per the wife and daughter, the women's bathroom was undesirable. read more

This location is in a plaza that is currently under construction. The easter theme was in full effect with bunnies everywhere and also valentines items were deep discounted. My daughter needed to buy some tacks which she found several variations for a few dollars. Great deals here on water bottles and colorful candles for $9.99. Michael is one of the last remaining brick and mortar craft stores. I don't know if I'm alone on this but Amazon can send you some pretty bad stuff that doesn't hold up. The selection of merchandise at Michael's is extraordinary. And the staff is very helpful and nice. I have in the past use them for framing and they do an outstanding job. Everyone please shop local because our local economy needs to keep jobs. read more

I am absolutely disgusted with Christina's costumer service. An 84 year old Hispanic lady was patiently waiting to purchase her items. Christina was very demanding and insisted that the lady used self check out. The little old lady didn't speak English very well and she was clearly nervous and she didn't want to use self check out. Christina was very rude to her and continued to berate her saying "all you have to do is read". I found it interesting that she had no problem helping the white lady figure out how to use her Michael's rewards but when the old Hispanic lady needed help, she rudely denied it. I would've given this review zero stars, but another Michael's worker partially made up for it. I didn't get her name, but she was a very kind black woman who helped the old Hispanic lady paid for her stuff. I just can't fathom how someone could be so rude to an elderly woman that was simply trying to buy craft supplies. I'm sure if you rewind the cameras to around 3:05PM 2/22/26 you can see this whole interaction. Christina do better. read more

Stopped by last nite and was greeted by a very nice helpful manager named Vinny great customer service I was really impressed because sometimes it's hard to find that in stores. Hopefully they keep him he was great I do love shopping there it's one of my favorite stores and Vinny was superb! read more

I came back after receiving my $ 25 certficate via text AND email to buy one item, a picture frame. For some reason, the cashier was not properly trained on coupon usage, and had to call a manager over to finish the transaction. Within 30 seconds, my $ 25 voucher was applied, and I was paying for my item. I'll be back, but please train your staff on the basics ! read more

We been here several times before over the years. I'm not very "crafty" but my husband is. Although one year, I got the idea to make a special Christmas ornament for my daughter-in-law. She loves flamingos and I couldn't find an ornament at a reasonable price that I liked. I wound up coming here. Bought a clear round glass ornament; brought some mini flamingos and glued them to a cardboard inset, decorated it, and voila! This time we came here looking for some small bottles for a project we are making for Christmas. They had exactly what we wanted of one of the middle sizes. Of course, we couldn't resist looking through some of their toys and art kits and jewelry and and other items. This place is large. If you do anything artsy, you can find it here. Right now, they also have a ton of Christmas decorations and items to make wreaths and gifts and related holiday decorations. By the checkout counter they have a line that weaves through bins of dollar and up cutesy items that you just won't be able to resist playing with, looking at, and even buying. We aren't here often, but when we need something creative, this is the place to find it. read more

Cashier Karen (haha) was very rude. I brought in a return for an online order with proof of purchase and the item in perfect condition. She was frustrated that she didn't know how to file it and I offered to give her time and walk about the store, she paged the front desk and I hear her talking smack about how I haven't come up front fast enough. When the interaction is over she says okay BYE NOW. I get back in line because I have other things to buy and after a few minutes she takes me. I have never had someone be so rude to my face and act like I'm inconveniencing them for something so simple like a return. Won't be coming back. read more

Ahhh nothing says Christmas like Michael's in during the holidays. A new addition to the area, brand new store, full shelves and newly hired and friendly staff. Their standard floor plan makes everything easy to find. And since they are new, all the inventory is in the right place. A full collection of trees and tinsel and beautiful decorations. Aisles and aisles of holly and jolly. The rest of the store is in great shape and well stocked with arts and craft supplies. A good collection of seasonal crafting items for the kids too. Plenty of parking out front and the shopping carts are all new and clean. Glad to have a Michael's in the neighborhood read more

You get great clearance specials here . Have been coming here for 5 years now at least once a month for a new craft . Yesterday was the first time I wanted to snap on a lady working there . When she asked me to wait for my online email stating my order was ready before coming into the store . (First off I have no phone or computer I was using a public laptop so I couldn't stand around for two hours waiting for this email) and Excuse me but absolutely not I have other items to purchase which I spent an hour in the store waiting for my order to be ready. When I was done shopping I kindly asked an associate on the floor if it's possible to "pick my own order" and she said one moment she attempted to help me out when I guess the "picker" walks into our conversation and says I'm doing "picks"(whatever term she used but I work in retail I get the gisp) I had to help with something else first .... help out or not do picks honey I was in this store an hour plus the hour it was already in your system that's two hours of helping ? There was plenty of staff which never happens so get it together. And then have the nerve to attempt to put me in place, sorry that you couldn't do your job in a timely fashion manner and sorry for helping pick my own product (which was the last one the floor) and bringing it to the counter where all you do is grab the telzon and bleep done. Sometimes I wish i where a secret shopper to really bring some light to these corporate stores. Overall the try to keep it organized for a craft store it's one of the better locations. read more

Don't waste your time going here. We waited in line for over an hour today because I was with my daughter. They were only allowing shoppers in one at a time. They let numerous individuals in behind us because we were a group of 2. I had asked if they would wait before allowing people behind us. The employees were rude and unapologetic. The only reason we were able to go in was because a kind woman behind us refused to enter until after we entered. People that are fortunate to continue to work during a time like this should have excellent customer service. Michael's failed to handle this situation in a professional manner. read more

Went to have a picture re framed, the young girl working the department walked me through the entire process, helped me pick out a frame, even suggested adding a border to make it pop. She was SO friendly and so helpful I felt like I made a new friend. That girl needs a raise!!!!! Wish I remembered her name. She told me it will def be ready by January first week, and she called me dec 28 to tell me it was already finished!! Customer service was fantastic and I am SO happy with the job they have done.
