I ended up buying a couple of framed Super Metroid pages pulled from Nintendo Power and a ToyBiz X-Men figure I had been looking for. While I was test-sleeving the cards I met with the store general manager Ken and Derek, one of the managers. Gave Derek a KL starter. He and Ken were extremely professional and hospitable. We also had an amazing and fruitful gameR chat. The store is amazing, well-stocked, clean. The management also makes sure that noise level from players talking is kept in control. I came back the next day to buy more card sleeves. Another store employee was there to take care of me. She was likewise amazing. A great gaming store for gamers who wish to have fun and rest.

Every time I walk in this store an employee is always eager and happy to help and my brother LOVES everything I have got him from Ettin Games and Hobbies! While my brother is a MUCH MORE Magic: The Gathering player, I am not and I do not have much experience playing Magic. I almost always lose. My brother asked me to play a commander game with me and showed me which cards to play and way and I ended up winning for my first time so I guess I got the "bug" for playing it. Remembering that Ettin Games sells Magic cards & etc., I looked them up on their website and read their event calendar. When I see that they do commander casual play, it peaked my interest so I called to ask about their events. When I called, I first spoke to a SUPER nice and helpful employee named CJ who explained their events to me. I explained that I would like some help learning how to play Magic: The Gathering; that I'm not very good at playing it; and I don't have much experience. CJ told me that every week, they have players that come and LOVE to work with and help new players play MTG and that, also, their "Magic Guy", Willie would be there and that Willie plays MTG and loves to help other players as well. I was told that Willie would help me put together a White deck and BOY did he!!! I was SO EXCITED and grateful!! I meet several REALLY COOL people (2 of which helped me ALOT). Both Willie and another player let me play their decks and try them out! I had SO MUCH FUN!!! Willie put together a really nice white deck for me that I'm SUPER EXCITED to try out!! I can't wait to go back next Thursday!!! I'm also SUPER EXCITED about my new "Black Widow" playing mat and sleeves!!

I originally discovered this shop after reading reviews while visiting witchery in Galveston, and it has been on my Yelp bookmark ever since. I finally made the trip, intending to browse, compare prices, and check out the selection. Instead, I left with something far more valuable. The highlight of my visit was meeting Matthew. He was incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Our conversation was magical. He shared thoughtful suggestions about different rituals and spiritual practices to explore, along with several excellent book recommendations. Whether or not someone follows those practices, his willingness to listen and offer encouragement left me feeling lighter, more hopeful, and in a much better frame of mind than when I walked in. Another highlight: This shop does not try to compete with their competitors which shows great character, they will also recommend other options that more cost sufficient and inexpensive. This part keeps me returning, as well, as the shared knowledge from Mr. Matt. I've now visited the shop twice, and each time I walk through the door, I'm hoping to see "Mr. Magic Matthew!" His warm personality and genuine customer service make every visit enjoyable. The store has wonderful atmosphere, a great selection of metaphysical items, and staff who truly make you feel welcome. For me, this is an easy 10 out of 10, and I look forward to visiting again. Fun Fact: Magick Cauldron shop is oldest and largest Magic shop in Houston TX, that originally started in Katy TX as a mattress store.

We've gotten bandages for a low price, bath tub toys, and we really come here for the puzzles. They do have a lot of more than half off kids toys from what we've seen but the puzzles are where it's at. Our kid goes through puzzles like you wouldn't believe and we are having a hard time keeping up so in order to maintain his interest and skill without breaking the bank, we come to Crazy Boss. My husband even gets his foot and hand masks here. Granted he did have to get ones that are Christmas themed and look like elves socks, we still say who cares because it still works the same AND they are made in Korea. winning!
