The female worker with the big hair and glasses lies about what's in stock and denies sales to customers . she keeps things hidden so her and her friends can have dibs on everything of value and robs the customers a chance to obtain it . she's been with GameStop for a very long time so she knows how to work the system but it is wrong that customers who put their hard earned money into this dying business is being denied games because of a greedy employee . there are always cases on shelves but the games are almost supposedly " never in stock " . This isnt supposed to happen . I can understand once or maybe twice , but 80 percent of the time is just shady practices . employees should have perks for being employees but there has to be an extent to it . When everything of value or rarity comes in and automatically goes right into the employees hands is actyally robbing the business of maximized profits. This is one of the only GameStop in this area for miles and it's becoming to a point where it's no longer fun to visit and better off ordering online even tho most of the fun is walking in and finding that game that you been looking for just to find out the case is in your face but the game isnt thete . read more

Rory illegally wouldn't sell me Borderlands 4. I called and she said they had 3 copies. A few minutes later, they're supposedly gone. She discriminated against me because of my MAGA hat. My dad called to confirm she did actually have it in stock, went in and bought it, then texted me. I came in and said "thanks for getting Borderlands 4 to me. Rory lied to me and said they didn't have it." She started denying it, but it was obvious that that is 1000% what happened. If she doesn't want to sell to Trump supporters, should probably move from Florida. read more

Everytime I go in they recommend me a game for me or for my family! I went in with a broken console and they got me a great deal when the manager Meeko brought one from their sister store since they were sold out at the time at this location. I also find a bunch of awesome retro games that are cheaper than some of the Mom and Pop stores near by. Def coming here from now on read more

The greatest GameStop I have ever been to. for years i've been searching for the elusive duck dynasty the game for the xbox one to no avail, that's when this GameStop found me. the moment I walked in I immediately felt it's presence, I walked back to the xbox games and immediately saw it alongside this GameStops wonderful selection of games, duck dynasty the game for the xbox one. I walked up to the counter to buy it along with some other wonderful items that were on sale for a really good price. The employees where super nice and are the reason i am now the proud owner of one duck dynasty the game for the xbox one, thank you GameStop, i finally have the game i've been searching for. because of this GameStop the final centerpiece to my duck dynasty room is complete, my velvet pillow is no longer empty and the duck dynasty fathers are proud of me. best GameStop ever. read more

A small gamestop store like many others that has plenty of items to purchase for all of your gaming needs. I always enjoy buying the preowned games to mess around with and get a great deal. This is by far the worst GameStop. Not because supply, but because of the employees. The girl, (Mikgo, I think?) that is normally there is bipolar and extremely rude. You never know what you're going to get. Then the Manager (Ryan) is so petty with everything. He won't let you use the $5 monthly credit for being a pro member on items. He has a snarky attitude anytime you try to return things and tries to word what he says as if the items can't be returned. He also will continue to add sarcastic comments while returning the items. And don't think about trading in a game without the case, he will either tell you he can't take it or will complain through the whole process. This place is a headache. Go to the mall in Volusia, if you can. Much friendlier and more professional staff there. read more

Disappointing. This GameStop doesn't do anything to really help the people looking for items and gives up on customers and tells them to step to the side to help other people. The actual storefront of this location is clean and inviting. I think the sales floor could be a little less cluttered with collectibles, but the store does a pretty decent job of making the place look like somewhere you would want to shop. Unfortunately, I can safely say I will not be returning because of the staff. No store has made me feel more uncomfortable and unwelcome in my life. I am really sad to say this since I have been shopping here for well over 13 years. This used to be my go-to store back when Jonny was running it, but it seems like everyone has completely changed. Take Ryan, for instance. Ryan is the guy here who has brown hair and glasses. He used to be a fun-loving guy with a penchant for sharing his opinion on anything. He could be a little exasperating at times, and his undying affection for Nintendo was a little cloying for fans of other consoles, but his ability to wear his heart on his sleeve made him endearing and fun to talk to. He has changed so drastically that I almost didn't recognize him. I have been in several times in the last few months. Remember that I have been a customer of this store since I was in middle school. I know practically everyone here except the newest employees by name and chat frequently with them when I come in. Ryan acts as if he was replaced by a robot. I am not kidding. When I come in to buy something, he always gives the same canned response. He asks me every time I shop if I am a rewards member with them, and his questions are delivered in the same sing-song manner every time. It's actually sort of creepy. Again, I feel I must make this clear: I have shopped here so often, they don't even need to ask me for my driver's license anymore when I trade in games because practically all of the employees know my number by heart. But Ryan, inexplicably, has started treating me as if I am a brand new face every time I walk in the door. He doesn't refer to me by name, and he acts dumb every time I try to talk to him or engage him in a discussion about games. It is literally as if he is one of the androids from Detroit: Become Human. I don't know what happened to make him change, but it makes me very uncomfortable to be treated like just any old Joe off the street when I go in and he's working. I almost feel as if the pressure of working for GameStop finally made him crack and lose any emotions he once had outside of false salesperson enthusiasm. Then there's Mikgo. Once again, I used to have a great rapport with her, but she has grown colder over the past few months. When I've tried to talk to her, she always responds curtly, as if she can't wait for me to shut up and finish paying for my games so I can leave the store. I don't know what happened to this place or the employees, but I don't like it at all. It doesn't help that I've learned some things about how GameStop operates that make me not want to shop there, but I definitely cannot recommend this store at all. Many of the other employees have no personality or look and act like they hate their jobs. You can almost feel the pall of depression and anxiety when you walk in the store. I go to this GameStop maybe 2-3 times a month to pre-order SW black series figures or games and the staff is always very accommodating, nice, and patient when trying to find the correct figure. Ty for making it fun when I stop by. read more

I bought a "new" copy of NBA 2k17 and opened it up to a used copy of 2k16 in a 2k17 case. Glad they got me to pay a new game price for a used wrong game. Then when I called to tell them about the mistake no one answered. read more

Absolutely terrible service. Preordered COD at different GameStop and came here as it was closer to home. Wanted to trade in two games as well. Was told they couldn't help and gave me my games back as if I was being refused service. Went to the Deltona GameStop and it took them 5 minutes to get me setup. Obviously the staff here isn't very customer oriented and need work on their problem solving. Absolutely embarrassed me as this was the first time I was ever refused service. Beyond me why I couldn't even trade my games in either. Thanks to the Deltona location on Howland I will remain a customer and never set foot in this one again read more

I've been here many times and have always had a good experience. The last few times I've been in, there was 2 upper 20's maybe low 30's guys working. One brown hair and blonde (not good with name). Never had a problem, until today with a new girl. The Back story is this was honestly the last minute to make the pre order due to the release was that night. I was waiting in line at 6pm but wasn't able to talk to the CSR until 6:05. I give her my story of I didn't pre order so I'd like to do so now and go ahead and pay up front for it. She told me no, we've already started to finalize receipts( the two people ahead of me). I told this new girl that my friend called the store and told me I could do it up until 6pm. She looked at me very arrogantly and said "It's 6:05." Claiming that GameStop tracks it (meaning she still could've done it if she wanted to). Even though I was in line at 6pm, she said I'd have to come back at 9 because I had "unfortunately not pre ordered the game." I'm an elite pro customer, where's the customer service? read more
