Most recently for Mother's Day coming up, world market has an entire set of dedicated to Mother's Day and it's absolutely gorgeous. World Market always has a dedicated section to those big holidays, such as Mother's Day and Fourth of July. The list goes on and on. I will preface, however, that this establishment is rather pricey. Just to help you paint a better picture, I purchase a vase, two candles and about three different Korean snacks they had in the back. This all came out to be around $85. I would recommend signing up on their website to become a member so you can enjoy the pleasantries of rewards! they usually give out free gifts with a certain amount purchase, which is pretty cool. Most recently they had an event where they would hide a golden egg in April. The golden eggs were in a hidden spot all over the store and the customers were given hints for each day in order to find said egg. I unfortunately did not find an egg but it was super fun. There were 4 eggs for each day, each egg with a different amount of money to use towards a purchase. Off the top of my head, it was $20, $50, $100. I forgot the fourth egg, but you get the jist. Also, once you come in they have complimentary coffee and tea for you to try. These are actually products that they sell in store so I would recommend checking it out and giving it a try. I ended up drinking some coffee there one day and never stopped buying the coffee from there. Again, I totally recommend coming to World Market! You'll have a "worldly" © experience! *wink wink*. Some of the items that sparked my interest included the monkey chandelier, the Mozart bust sculpture, the hand standing lamp, Fritz's Nussknacker Standl, the Playboy limited edition collectables, the world coin map, and the variety of vintage ceramic Christmas trees (my mom used to make these when I was a kid). Small store with lots of creative home furnishings and furniture. Now they are in a much larger location which has allows the visitor to really take in all the magnificent pieces that are available for a very modest price. The store also sells Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral paints and other items (which are also used to upcycle furniture and home decor). The owner is very knowledgeable and has invested a great amount of her artistic talent in the items for sale. And if you would like to try your hand at upcycling some furniture that you have, there are periodic classes which teach you how to use the different products by Dixie Belle. I almost forgot, keep an eye on her calendar on the website because there are some very fun classes that you can meet with others and just have a great time and take home something wonderful for your home.

I had to return 2 days in a row because the balloons I bought did not hold the helium. When I went back the second day to get the balloons replaced, I ended up spending way too much time waiting for the employees trying to figure out how to use the helium tank. Danny, who said he was the assistant manager, was too busy on his phone to assist Irene the employee who was clearly inexperienced on using the helium tank. They went through 4 balloons of the same design to try and figure out how to fill the double balloons. The only reason that I allowed them to continue to try is that when I purchased the balloons I did not realize all of the registers are self-checkout and the receipts come out under the countertop. Danny did not want to hear any suggestions that I suggested. after what felt like an hour I took my $5.00 loss on the balloon and left. No apologies or how can we make this right? I'm not mad at the staff but I do hold the company accountable for not training these individuals on simple tasks. It's not a party store, it's a lot of everyday supplies with a party store name.
