The biggest selections are paperback collections/graphic novels and back issues. However, they had an ample supply of $1 comics and new issues along the walls. I really enjoyed showing my son how to flip through boxes of back issues to look for stuff. The downside was that there were more than a few comics with no marked prices (and took a lot of time to find the prices) and the staff, while friendly, didn't seem to know much about comics. I asked about some DC comics and characters and they simply didn't know the answers. I feel if you run a comic, you should have employees who can answer questions. Overall a really nice experience. Again, the staff was friendly and the back issue and graphic novel selection in particular was fantastic.

And initially they stuck by that, but in the last week. They've gone in the complete opposite direction at least in terms of Pokémon cards. I got one Shining Fates ETB for the normal price of $55. While other customers received 2-3 at a time. Darkness ablaze booster box for the usual $144. I am a frequent customer and spend a good amount of money in there. This week, everything got bumped up, not a little but significantly. $6 a piece for a darkness ablaze pack, $200 for a booster box. Tins for $45-$50, and good luck finding any shining fates because they are held for others. It's just sad. Everyone is scalping and getting top dollar elsewhere and they decided to follow suit. I'll be avoiding them until they return to their normal practice.

It's like stepping into a time machine when you see all the retro goodness inside! If you're a longtime collector, you'll appreciate all the rarities found here. The owners are very nice and really knowledgeable when it comes to these collectibles. Each section of the store is devoted to a particular fandom, whether it's a wall of vintage Star Wars figures from Kenner, or a glass case full of G1 Transformers. All the while, they're usually playing a geeky movie in the background too! Always double check the hours and refer to their social media in case something comes up. This is one of the worst, low integrity businesses you will ever find! I bought & paid instantly for a piece of vintage electronics, and then, as I do with every purchase I make, I asked them to "please ship securely." I simply reminded them, very politely & professionally, about the FedEx shipping requirements they are already expected to follow. No special requests, beyond reminding them that popcorn or crushed paper is never appropriate when shipping heavy items, something every knowledgeable & responsible shipper knows. Both mediums settle or compress during shipment, making them useless for actual protection, and only suitable for fill when shipping lighter items. Did they reply assuring me they always ship responsibly, or perhaps explain how they make sure this is not an issue? Nope, THEY REFUSED?! Despite me assuring them I had years of experience shipping the vintage electronics I bought, they cancelled my order without once trying to contact me, or even question why? So in other words, when they found out I expected them to ship responsibly, they ran from it as fast as humanly possible! They then piled on buy fraudulently cancelled my order without any valid reason, and then when I complained, they tried to make me out to be the bad guy! So you have all the worst things you can find in a business, absolute disregard for secure shipping; complete lack of willingness to learn and expand their current, failing systems, and failure to accept responsibility for their own failures.
