Couldn't have been farther from the truth.. I had dental surgery on the day he wrote down so he was wrong! After a brisk discussion he told "to Get the FUCK out of HIS STORE"! I went to YESTERDAYS TOYS in Bethany and they were delighted to get these vintage comics and gave me great price! Tom is a poor businessman and a very poor quality human being to say that to a lady!

The biggest selections are paperback collections/graphic novels and back issues. However, they had an ample supply of $1 comics and new issues along the walls. I really enjoyed showing my son how to flip through boxes of back issues to look for stuff. The downside was that there were more than a few comics with no marked prices (and took a lot of time to find the prices) and the staff, while friendly, didn't seem to know much about comics. I asked about some DC comics and characters and they simply didn't know the answers. I feel if you run a comic, you should have employees who can answer questions. Overall a really nice experience. Again, the staff was friendly and the back issue and graphic novel selection in particular was fantastic.

I bought & paid instantly for a piece of vintage electronics, and then, as I do with every purchase I make, I asked them to "please ship securely." I simply reminded them, very politely & professionally, about the FedEx shipping requirements they are already expected to follow. No special requests, beyond reminding them that popcorn or crushed paper is never appropriate when shipping heavy items, something every knowledgeable & responsible shipper knows. Both mediums settle or compress during shipment, making them useless for actual protection, and only suitable for fill when shipping lighter items. Did they reply assuring me they always ship responsibly, or perhaps explain how they make sure this is not an issue? Nope, THEY REFUSED?! Despite me assuring them I had years of experience shipping the vintage electronics I bought, they cancelled my order without once trying to contact me, or even question why? So in other words, when they found out I expected them to ship responsibly, they ran from it as fast as humanly possible! They then piled on buy fraudulently cancelled my order without any valid reason, and then when I complained, they tried to make me out to be the bad guy! So you have all the worst things you can find in a business, absolute disregard for secure shipping; complete lack of willingness to learn and expand their current, failing systems, and failure to accept responsibility for their own failures. In essence they already know it all and no one will tell them different; and instead of interacting professionally, they use deflection, projection and just plain juvenile excuses to justify their atrocious behavior! There is also an arcade room, where people can bring in food while they play. There is also a bathroom. Plenty of games new and used for various gaming systems. Including recently released DVDs, board games for purchase and figurines. They also sell snacks and juices from a vending machine and behind the counter. I got a few old school CD rom games from my elementary school days. Neat place! A lot of school kids come into the store and play after school hours, especially when it's warmer!
