The discs I received had come with deep scratches, rendering them completely unplayable. Selling games in this condition demonstrates either a complete absence of quality control or a disregard for customers altogether. It is one thing to expect minor cosmetic wear on used discs, but it is another to receive items that clearly were never inspected and should never have been sold in the first place. A company dealing in video games has one basic responsibility: to ensure the product functions. Kill Screen Games failed at that most fundamental level. Until they establish real standards for product inspection and customer care, I cannot hand them a good review.

But I miss Zach as he was super chill and was great at providing customer service and knowledge of the games that date back to old eras. The prices are fair and you'll be surprised to find great underrated games that are on sale for a dollar from over stock. The new guy that I met that's currently working there with glasses also was amazing with the customer service that was provided as I was skeptical and had questions of certain games that I have on my list that I'd like to give an opportunity to run on a gaming system as I missed out on classics over the years as I'm working in on to catch up on some gaming when I can.

Each section of the store is devoted to a particular fandom, whether it's a wall of vintage Star Wars figures from Kenner, or a glass case full of G1 Transformers. Walking in, you're pulled into every corner of different reading temptations. From best sellers, to used booked that look barely worn, to a whole children's section to explore in the basement. I bought the sequel to a book a recently finished in the "used" section for $4.99! It looked fresh and hot off the press and snapped it up! Plenty of people had more than two books in their hands, and with their selection, I can see why. The staff was very personal and cheery, sharing their own recommendations when someone was indecisive. No pushiness or hovering over you; just friendly and welcoming.
