Their service is terrible because none could be provided. Store hours say 10 am, yet at 10:15 the door is locked, phones are not being answered, all while a staff member looks at us through the window. Extremely unprofessional to not inform customers what is going on. Door was opened at 10:17. Do not show up early to this location if you value your time. read more

Horrible experience today. My husband bought some Pokémon packs this morning at 6am online. When we went into the store on Kuykendal to get our order and the guy Matthew (per the receipt) said "sorry..a streamer came in who opens the packs online and bought 9 of the obsidian flames pack and 8 of the paldea evolve pack, so I had to cancel your order." No!! That is snot okay!! I called another game stop and they said there was a limit of 5 per person. Absolutely ridiculous. We will NOT be going back to that location. He gave the WORST customer service I have ever seen. read more

I repeat DO NOT SELL YOUR SERIES S CONSOLE HERE. I recently came to this location to sell my used xbox series s and I had my dad finish the process as I had to go to work. Well when I left they proceeded to continuously show the cash trade in value as "48" dollars when the screen clearly stated that value was for the Xbox one s console. I tried to call the store up to help my dad but all they did when they showed me the screen was the Xbox one s versions sell price and not the series s. I ended up having to just accept the cash because I really needed it at the moment, but I will not be shopping here again. read more

I didn't want to give one star but I showed up this morning at 10:10am to trade in a game (I didn't want to be there at 10am when they opened but I also figured I'd be super quick so I'd do it early) I sat there for 20-30 minutes and called then multiples times-the lights and TV's were on but the big gate inside was still closed. Located in the Wal-mart shopping center parking lot this Gamestop has served the community well for several years. I'm a long time customer and have always received great service here even though the employees and management have changed. The selection is great, the store is well organized and they always go the extra to help you locate a game or item you might need at another location if they don't have it. This has got to be the WORST GameStop location I've ever been to. I've always shop here and trade my games in whether it's for store credit or cash. I come in one day to sell and they all of a sudden rejected my games because their boss store director Burt Weber along with the manager who works at the store has informed their employees not to do business with me for trade ins! They never explained why, This has happen five times and it happened today(8-17-22) I called Burt on the phone to fix this issue and I was allowed to sell my games, but that was 3 months ago. So the lady who told me she can't take my games, she says Burt told her to stop taking my games for trade ins 3 weeks ago. I was there last week(8-10-22) and they took my games in and I got cash for it! They change their stories constantly and this is DISCRIMINATION against people of color and people with DISABILITIES!!! I Highly recommend everyone STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST!! This is not how you treat others. Take your business someplace else. Terrible terrible location. Shame on you GameStop!!! read more

This is my favorite GameStop :) I frequent here a lot, like once every couple of months. The guys who work here are really nice but sometimes they get new employees that are really sassy, it is kind of annoying. I haven't gone to this store in a while because normally the employees are sarcastic and rude. But I went in the other week and there was an amazing new employee named Victoria! She was so nice and actually knew about Pokémon cards and games and she helped me out and answered all of my questions! The employee next to her was a complete jerk and kept telling her to move faster even though there was no line behind us. It was annoying. I really hope GameStop hires more nice people that are actually willing to help their customers. I don't know how some of these people are working here. I'd come here a lot more if there were better employees. read more

I received a call from Game Stop tonight to tell me they are having a midnight release of FFXV. Great! But I work tomorrow and did not want to stay up so I said I would pick up tomorrow on the way home. That was when the guy informed me that my game may be sold. I asked him to repeat that, as I could not believe it. I pre-ordered the game for my husband on April 22...and my order was paid in full. He confirmed that even though it was fully paid, if I was not at the release at midnight, they may sell our copy. But don't worry!!! You would get a full refund. Seriously? If I wanted a refund I would not have ordered the game. So, off I went to wait in line at the store...for 2 hours, because he said I had to have the receipt finalized at 9pm and the release was at 11:01pm. When I get to the register at 11:03pm to pick up my copy, he tried to give me the regular version, when I paid for the deluxe. I had to point it out. Sorry Game Stop, I won't preorder from you again. I've never had this happen before through 20+ years of doing business with you, but this was handled horribly, and I was not the only upset customer in your store tonight!! I will shop Amazon for games from now on. read more
