Mediocre game store at best. Their selection is usually lacking and the employees are strangely awkward and antisocial most times (there are a few cool ones who will actually greet you and speak to you). Pricing is solid on average, and sometimes the system has the item for lower than the sticker price so you get a little discount. Tons of movies and below average video games, but the cooler first party titles are usually nowhere to be seen. read more

This may be the best video game store around. They have great game prices (new, old & ancient), cheapest amiibos, movies, comics, accessories, vinyl records and anything else you can think of but not to the point of annoyance that some nerdy stores tend to be. All the employees either have an attitude or zero social skills. Most socially awkward people I've ever met lmao. I don't know if it just isn't their Policy to test the games before they buy them used or if it's just select lazy employees that don't test them but I purchased a used game with the strange idea that it would work when I got it home. System couldn't read it, took it back to the store and their system couldn't read it. This was all within a 10 minute window. All they could offer me was store credit, store policy. Don't waste your time with another game stop knock off. They basically stole $40 from me because I'm not going back. If you do shop here like, I stated above, ask to test the game first. I bought and xbox 360 that worked for a few weeks. It randomly started powering off, when I tried to clean it it had roaches in side the hard drive bay. I recently bought a few games from them. I had a credit put towards that purchase but they did not apply it correctly got charged twice for the transaction. When I got home they had not put discs in 3 of the games I had bought and I had to drive all the way back with CS traffic it took 45 min. All they said was sorry nothing was offered. Long story short make sure you keep your receipts and make sure you inspect your games and anything else you purchase from them. I will no longer be doing any type of business there. I hate game stop but I have not had as much trouble with them or FX video game exchange. read more

This business is a scam - please be careful when buying any used products here. Game X Change refuses to refund money on any purchase in store. Ordinarily, I would understand this policy, but this game store knowingly sells defective discs to customers, and then only offers store credit in return. This evening my girlfriend and I picked up an old PS2 game at Game X Change, and it was defective. This is the second defective disc we have paid for in only three different visits. We went back up to exchange the disc for a different copy of the same game, but they did not have any more copies. They offered to give us store credit to use on something else, but we specifically came to Game X Change to play the game we bought. Now we are out $20, and have to go spend another $20 at a different store just so we can play the game we had planned our evening around. This store will not work with you to make your transaction right, they will not guarantee their used products, and they are knowingly selling defective used dics attached to a no refund policy. Save yourself the headache and disappointment, and shop elsewhere. read more

I use to really like this place bc I don't get many duds and the selection is pretty good, but idk if they just hire idiots that seriously do not care about their job or what, but let's start at the beginning. I picked up a pop doll with no tag (most are usually 10-12 most places for just a regular one). Next I grabbed about 12 movies. The guy that rang me up didn't know anything about what he was doing and the guy who apparently had been there longer wouldn't stop to make sure he's doing things right. First he couldn't figure out the price of the pop, didn't tell me how much it was just rang it up, then didn't do their (buy 2 get 1 free). He tells me the total and then goes "oh I forgot" when I pointed it out. Then proceeds with not being able to count. I get it that I might be a Karen about it, but hold on there's a reason I'm mad I didn't get 4 taken off (he only took 3). The total should have probably been about 60, but ended up being 75..... right.... Again the more experienced one wouldn't stop to assist for nothing. So I go out to my car already irritated, just to find out they charged me 25 for the pop. Kidding me right? How could you charge that much for a pop you can get for a fraction of that else where? I went back to get it fixed to which now the guy who had more experience stepped in. He reversed the first charge and charges me 45 for the movies by themselves with the additional one taken off that the noob missed. It gets even better, I get home and 2 of the dvds arnt even in their cases.... So now I got ripped off another 10. I love used games/movies stores, but it's bc of crappy workers who don't care to make sure things are done correctly is why people don't come back. read more

Visited today to sell some used games. I was leaning towards taking the store credit until I saw the prices of their games. They only sell used. Found a PS4 game we liked for $33. Checked Amazon and it was listed for $20 BRAND NEW. I show this to my cashier and whom I presume is the manager. With a listless expression the manager replies "ok". Went here today for the first time ever, wanted to see what the place offered to compete with GameStop. It has a really nice selection of old and new and when I say old I mean all old consoles (N64, GENESIS, Super Nintendo, Gameboy). And not only do they sell them but they also trade and buy old consoles and accessories. I ended up not finding the game I went looking for but I did end up buying a Kinect for my Xbox at $20.00 which was a beyond fair price. Then I got some games to go with it and ended up spending $40 or so in total. Positives: they cleaned every used disk before they gave it to you, staff friendly, good selection of oldies, 90 day warranty on most electronics, and a 24 hour game exchange if the one you got you don't end up liking.
