I found out this location was the only one that had the plush I was looking for. I got there just as the worker was starting to close the shutters to the store, about a minute before close. He was nice enough to stop his routine to let me in and get the plush. And the worker was super nice about the whole thing, even though I interrupted him trying to close and go home. I left really happy with my purchase and the whole transaction. Then I was looking to go back since it's a pretty big store too and I wanted to look around. Run! Run! Run! This store is awful along with their online site. I will never order or buy from Gamestop ever again. I ordered online for store pick up and they charged my bank account which bounced because I took money out to pay at the store. Then they send me the wrong item. Then when I want to return it, I am told I can't. I promise I will never buy another item here. Walmart and Amazon have my business now. read more

The. Worst. Every interaction I have had with this store has been horrible, so at least they are consistent?? Employees only pay attention to their friends, not real customers. Twice, holds I have placed have been sold out from under me in a matter of hours, despite the 24 hour hold policy. Today took the cake, though. After telling me the website had an inventory error, they directed me to a store an hour and a half away. When I asked if they could have the item shipped from that store to this one (the Troy location), I was told "No, we don't do that". When I arrived at the store in Hudson after my hour and a half drive (one way!) the employees asked why I didn't have it shipped to a location closer to me, that they do it all the time.
