This little neighborhood is so stinking cute. I love architecture in general (new, old, abstract, utilitarian, doesn't matter, love it all) and seeing these really cute homes from a bygone time is absolutely wonderful.
The streets are pretty uneven (they are cobbled and pretty old) and kind of tight. There are also some pretty steep hilly parts, so it may not be the most accessible place but it's well worth the visit if you can.
We walked around, taking pictures of the gorgeous, quaint wooden homes. I really loved how the homeowners decorate with flowers and potted plants. There were also really cute side gardens to look at and take pictures of.
There are some restaurants and park areas to have a drink or rest a bit while you are taking in the sights.
If you are coming here from the cruise ship port, it will be quite the steep uphill walk to get to the neighborhood. read more
