The harbor has a lot of stuff to do, from museums to restaurants and shops to bars and nightlife. We happened to be here during a festival for World Cup viewing so there was a lot to look at and there were a lot of people out and about.
There are also a lot of places to rest and sit, to enjoy the area and watch the boats enter and exit the harbor. There are pieces of art, whether it be sculptures or murals on walls. It's a very interesting place, focused on tourism but in a tasteful way.
We had a good time walking around and enjoying the local flavor in this Norwegian city. We would absolutely come back and visit again when we have the chance. read more
