This place is awful! So many kids. And the employees did nothing when children were locking the front door, biking without parental guidance around the store, also children were hiding in the racks of clothes and screaming in customer's faces. I would never come back here. Insane place. read more

My absolutely go to place to shop for myself and for others. Staff is excellent. True I don't always find what I need, but because its an outlet you don't expect too. Sales are always on in one form or another. Either on the general floor or the clearance section. At the end of each season the buys are amazing in clearance, still of course hit and miss. Their sizes run from XS to XXL so you coveted for all friends and family you my buy for. I mean who doesn't like the GAP. The clearance section can be somewhat of a mess but that is not because the staff. Its more because the patrons just toss stuff around. Love live this store. read more

Today's not my first time here, but I've never reviewed this place when I came in the past. Lines are usually long, but interactiwith the employees always goes smoothly. They're polite however, you'll never find a customer receiving assistance on the floor. You'd either have to find an employee lounging with their coworker or you'll have to go the register to receive help. There's one line that form and usually two registers open. I think they should have at least three of the rest of the employees are actually assisting customers on the floor. read more

I found the customer service to be rude. I went to return some items which a spot got damp from the down pour I got caught in walking to the store. It wasn't like the items were all wet or ruined, just a spot which would dry in a short time. The employee was extremely rude and wouldn't let me return them. He really had a bad attitude and obviously did not want to be bothered to do his job. That will be the last time I shop there. I used to shop there a lot before COVID but will no longer. I guess he missed the training on good customer service. read more

I usually go to the GAP in Queens mall, this GAP is ok, a bit pricey, but lot of variety. I bought two tops from here, I think the selections in every store is different though. read more

Went back to return some purchases. Got here at least 20 minutes ago and am still on the line, with at least ten people behind me and only two people on the registers. This is not how a store should be run. Additionally, someone cut the line and the cashiers allowed her to! They started ringing her up, and the entire line shouted on unison until she stopped. read more

I lived in their shorts this summer, and even opened up an account, but was very annoyed that I could not pay my bill at the store. I am now aware that it says that on my bill, but I was standing on their line in a surgical shoe, 5 weeks after bunion surgery. They certainly had no problem with financial questions, when I opened the account. Or taking my money for product purchase. This is NOT good customer service. Honestly, I had a lot more shopping to do, but plan to spend my money at New York Inc instead, where they take payments, and offer great coupon deals, too. I am gone from The Gap! read more

Staff here is friendly and I'd say the cleanliness of the store overall is pretty good. The fitting room never has anyone in it so fend for yourself in there. Recently I see they've been mixing the mens/women's sale items on 1 rack which means you're sifting through more items but you could get lucky. If you come here between mid Nov and early Jan, it's mobbed. However it always seems fully stocked. Most of the year this store's pretty quiet but just expect to wait 10+min in line to buy your duds. It's also in a great location near Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, restaurants, bars, etc so there's plenty to do before/after your shopping bonanza. OH and don't come here coupon-less. Download the SWAGG app for iPhone, there's always a 20% off coupon you can show in-store. read more

I would be happy to write the 1st review for this Gap location. What a great part of Forest Hills to do some shopping on a beautiful Saturday. They were well stocked with all sizes and they had some workers on the floor keeping things in order. The crowd was impressive, but the line at the check out and the line for the fitting rooms were a bit unnerving. All in all, a great shopping experience. read more

Spent almost an hour shopping. There was only 1 cashier and I had ten minutes left on my meter. Had to leave without buying. NEVER AGAIN!

today april 15 2023 saturday, 5-6pm i was at the store shopping for clothes for my son. then my 3 year old accidentally bumped into a shelf and the worker came up to me and started shouting to pick up the clothes that my 3 year old dropped and screamed at me to put him back at his stroller and said that he made a mess but he didn't at all. we called the manager she ignored us and left with a bad apology like she didn't even care. i've been shopping at this gap for 7 years already and i've never seen this in my experience of coming to this store. now cause of this rude worker i will never come back to this gap store. just so you guys know this factory has really rude and disrespectful workers. today was my worst experience of my 7 years of shopping here. if its possible and you don't want to experience this don't come to this shop with disrespectful workers and managers who don't even care!!!!!! read more

Gap is back. Quality and style has improved. Prices are now moderate. For a brief time, Gap had nothing but low quality and overpriced clothes. I purchased a jacket today for only $71 dollars. Original was over $100. It looks and feels great. Some of the designs here could of easily be marketed towards Banana Republic. The previous years, Old Navy and Gap felt like they were selling the same trash with different labels. I was quite pleased with the sale they are having. The only problem I have with most Gap stores, they never seem to carry a size medium in jackets/coats. read more

Longest line ever. Every single time I come here it takes forever. Either there's a problem with someone exchanging something, or returning. I think I have the worst luck here. I dread it every time. Rather go to queens center mall location. read more

Yay clothes! It's the only store on austin street that sells clothes for both genders and a somewhat affordable price, i you compare it to Banana Republic located further down Austin and 71 ave. when you walk in the store is divded into two pars. The first floor (men on the right side of wall and women on the left) and on the second floor are for children. I like their jeans and they feel great, as long as you dont mind spending $70 bucks for a pair. Towards the end of the store against the wall is the counter with one long line. Like other reviews the wait is about 10 minutes as long as you dont have that one customer complaining about getting their refund from a return and not having a receipt. LOL. There are tons of street parking, if you can find it. Overall its an ok store. Preferably I went from Gap to Express which has more of a selection of dress shirts and ties, which I love. read more

Since Robert has been the store manager.. (I know his name because I asked to speak to the manager to thank him for working so hard and having the store run so beautifully !!)... The service,organization and presentation of the merchandize, has been Exceptional!!! Everyone working there is incredibly courteous, professional, efficient and down right Helpful!!! I've never written a review before, but I was so appalled by the terrible customer service of a specific cashier today that I felt compelled to leave one. There wasn't a single person on line, yet the cashier (older lady with long, straight blond hair) seemed extremely inconvened and annoyed when dare I make a return! She was busy chatting with a coworker about how much she hates working, seemed annoyed when I asked her the pre-sale price of the item, then basically threw the receipt at me and continued chatting away. I will never come to this location again and this woman should be fired. read more

Booo why such negative reviews? Sure the line can be ridic but that's the only reason i'm taking away a star. Came here in late Dec in search of inexpensive maternity clothes. Luckily for me, they happened to have an awesome sale - 40% additional off sale items! Found plenty of maternity tops in size S and was supa happy. Spent over $100 on 13 items which is such a steal - so much better than the sizing options online. Earned some GapCash on top of it too, so will be back later this month to redeem it :) read more

Small gap location but they have all the basics. Long lines but aren't they always? Sales are good when they have any, but don't pay regular price for anything as it all goes on sale eventually. Staff is moderate and no horrible complaints other than that the fitting rooms are always closed and to track someone down to open it is horrendous. read more

The seclection here is good, everytime I window shop or actually buy something here, I always find different things I like. The sales are good, when it's reduced , with most of the store up for grabs. sure, the line is long, but The Gap in Queens Center Mall is far and God knows the line in a mall is worse. So, I have no complaints, here as it can short, the cashiers are efficient. read more

the staff is nice and all but they take forever to help you.. until i got help, i could have gone to another gap and bought 39845783 more things in the time that i was there. i would choose a different gap in the area, don't waste your time here. the line is horrible. read more
