This is one other the rather smallest B&BW I have seen. I find that although they seem to have a lot of inventory , buy online and pick up is difficult because they lack inventory. Not sure if it's just not updated properly or a glitch. I have been in other B&BW and customers are approached for help, this one lacks that service. This is my favorite location for their brand. I always find the scent on the beach here, even in the wither. When I was here today they had a buy 3 get 3 free sale. I was tempted to spend all my money on the vanilla bean scent, but needed to eat. The staff here always greets you when you enter the store. I appreciate the sink so you can wash a scent off your hands. Definitely my go to B&BW go to. read more

OMG! I'm obsessed with this store. They have such a wide variety and selection of creams, lotions, and candles. The staff here are super friendly. All the cashiers are so nice. I'm always greeted when entering. The sales associates are always bending over backwards to assist me. I love their sales. They always have some good deals going on. Totally worth it! I'm beyond obsessed with the champagne toast and vanilla bean noel creams/lotions! I stock up regularly haha I just wish the store was a smidge larger to carry a bigger inventory. I've been going to this location for a couple of years now and the staff is always friendly/helpful. The store is kept very neat & organized, which I appreciate. I only shop sale items because it can get pricey, but the quality of the products is very good. I especially love their seasonal offerings. My only criticism is that not all of the prices are displayed on items & it can get confusing when I get to the register. Other than that I enjoy this store and will return. read more

I noticed that there aren't enough employees on the floor. I came in here to use my coupons and to see if they were having any sales. I do like both the hand soaps and liquid soaps, especially when it's on sale. The employees are very friendly and helpful. They're very knowledgeable so that's great too. I will be back as this is the closest retail store to where I reside. I hope that they fix the amount of employees at the store. read more

I love this location despite the smaller size of the store. Sometimes they may not have the stuff I want, but it's still pretty convenient for me to find certain things I want. You have to be sharp to know when the sales are going on via email. They're pretty great and worth the prices. Sometimes they even have items 50%-75% off. The staff and service at this store have severely deteriorated since Christina the former manager left for another location. The staff are untrained, disrespectful and blatantly rude. They are not service forward and seem to be more about what they can't do and don't have than what they can and do have. The new store manager is terrible. She has on several occasions said things like "I just work here." She takes minimal ownership in the business and gives the energy that she can't wait to get out of there. She's slow, apathetic and lethargic. She is a horrible representation of the brand and as DM for a large retail chain, it's beyond me how she was hired or promoted for such a customer facing role. I shopped at this location for 20 years under the helm of Christina, but I will never step foot in this location again other than to let them eat returns from my online purchases. Previously, we shopped body care and candles form BBW, but we have managed to find body care elsewhere and only shop here for candles. I spend more on body care elsewhere to avoid this store. read more

I popped in during my lunch . There was a stag member outside giving hand sanitizer and keeping the crowd control down . Everyone had mask on and were social distancing. Then you come in there are paper bags there in different sizes for your Convenience ... The staff members were extremely pleasant and helpful without being over bearing . One of the girl's even gave me a few scents to try out that I ended up liking . The store was very clean and organized with full shelves . I've had bad experiences at other bath and body shops but this one changed my mind . I will definitely be back for the next sale :) read more

Yearly i and my friends go to buy hand soap, body lotion, and after bath spray. This year it is a disappointment for us, the scents that we expected to be there every year most are gone. There are new scents that are not pleasing to our smell, we only bought a few, if it continues with those kind of scents, the store will be losing customers!!' Nothing new offerings we like unlike years ago, it was a pleasure going for it semi annual sales. This year we rate poor choices of new scents Bath & Bodywork products !!!! read more

Done with shopping at this location. I literally just spent $90 dollars at this location and the girl at the registered refused to bag my products. I spend way too much money here for this . I really don't see why they no longer bag any of your products no matter how much you buy. read more

I like this place. I haven't visited Bath & Body Works since high school, but I went in to use two of the coupons that were sent to me. I got a free bottle of Candy Apple Shower Gel (gotta get into the fall spirit) and a loofah for 20% off. Everything smells amazing. Jake greets everyone and informs them of the promotions happening. He is very into his job. Only thing is that the line is sooooo long and moves sooooo slowly. I waited about 15 minutes to purchase my two things! read more

My wife and I came to buy some products from this store. Even though I didn't want to go I went inside with her. The lady that welcomed us was super nice but the manager or person in charge of the store was super rude. She doesn't have any idea what customer service is and treated my wife in a horrible way. Was it because she was doing inventory exactly on the section where we where shopping? All this time we were choosing the products she looked so annoyed at us. She never moved to let us shop or choose more options. Not even ask us if we needed help. I can see why these stores are empty. I'm never going back to this store. i like shopping at b&b works and i am not ashame to admit it, well maybe a little. on busy steinway ave in astoria and finding parking takes time. store is spacious and bright with plenty of wonderful smelling stuff from candles, body cream and scrubs, lotions , shower gels, fizzle bomb balls, and much more. the workers are helpful and can be a bit clingy trying to sell products that may be hard to sell or overstocked but they do let you roam around freely for the most part. plenty of sales and deals are store wide so grab some candles and body mist or body butter along with the cucumber melon shower gel and pamper yourself tonight at prices that wont break your wallet . read more

I wanna start of by saying I love BBW, and I also just recently moved to Astoria so I was thrilled to find that there was one in walking distance from me! Especially since it seems like there are very few locations here in NYC. As for this store location, I've had a great experience so far! Customer service is great, the girls that work there are very friendly and helpful. The other thing that I like about this location is that it's never too crowded and hectic like some others I've been too. This is especially nice when they have some of their sales going on, because they usually have a great selection and plenty of stock. read more

This summer this location had a totally new makeover and the store. looks. great. It looks so clean and beautiful! It also seems to be angling towards the home fragrance aspect so there are tons of candles, wallflowers, etc. and that's great - I am a home fragrance customer, for sure. I wish I was greeted more often at this location as I have been at others! read more

I think all these shops are pretty similar regardless of location. I like this one because its never super busy and the people that work there are always really nice and helpful if I ever have any questions. Another reason I like this store is because they always remind you of all of the sales and deals they have just in case you don't know which has saved me money. read more

This store probably deserves another half star based on customer service, they are very perky and eager to help,but the actual store just gives me a such a headache. It's sticky sweet-smelling air overload, and it bothers my head and sinuses something fierce. I really like their clean and simple citrus scented foaming soaps, enough that I will do a mad dash into the store. They also have cool little sink stations on the sides of the store outfitted with the seasonal soaps so you can give them a test run before purchasing ( cool marketing ) but past soaps it's nasal nightmare for me. In their defense, I feel the same about candle shops. Their customer service is Very good. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about products and promos. Expect a robust greeting upon entering the store for sure. read more

I love this store but the staff is way too aggressive in their customer service so much to the point that I dread going in there. Greeting me and informing me of your promotions when I enter the store is fine but having at least 3 sales people harass you during a visit is ridiculous. One day I just needed their plug in fragrance. I had the refills at home but needed an additional plug in. I picked one and took it to the register where the lady looked at me and gave me a judgmental "that's it?" Yes that was all I needed! Overall I love their products but the staff is too aggressive and can be rude. read more

Gonna have to give this store at this particular location 5 stars. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the 2 sales associates who helped me but they were super nice, informed me on all the discounts available that day to optimize my shopping and helped me choose some items according to what kind of scent(s) I like and were interested in, etc. I'll probably go to this one from now on whenever I need to get my bath & body works fix haha! I love this location. The staff here is always friendly. It's a bit smaller than the other locations I've been to, but it's close to home and they almost always seem to have what I'm looking for. They also always seem to have some sort of sale going on. I also love the aromatherapy line they sell, specifically the Lavender and Chamomile Sleep pillow mist. read more
