The Shops offer a variety of women clothing stores to suit almost every taste, there are children+toy stores, eateries, a souvenir shop (and not a cheesy one either)- to name a few. While this place isn't flashy with De La Renta, Karan and the like, the clothing stores- for instance, are exclusive in their own tasteful Sanibel way. Some clothing can be too pink and turquoise for me (think of Vineyard Vines), but then there's the other side of Sanibel that's almost clean-cut with a minimalist feel. As was the case when I purchased 3 different minimalist-styled tops from two of the women's clothing stores in the plaza. Parking is a breeze. Grounds are immaculate. Take your time and venture to the 2nd floor also. In the many years hubs and I've been coming to the island, bringing gifts home has always been easy.

I was over charged for a shirt purchase, and when I went in to have them correct their mistake the sales associate said she couldn't but had to leave a message for her manager to call me back. Well I'm still waiting. Not a call, not a word. I love the store but will now think twice and will always go over my receipt if I shop there again. So they can keep the $8 if it means that much to them but people need to be alerted.

The Dad tried to explain to the little girl that the ones they were selling were not the copyrighted version. The saleswoman straight up lied to this father and the child and told them that they are in fact the real ones just so she could make a sale. Absolutely disgusting to scam children. I could see her hovering around and thought it was strange....I then had picked up some tea towels that I decided to purchase, I was holding them in one hand and was talking to my guy and that same woman came up behind me and VERY aggressively snatched them out of my hand ...I didn't even see her coming ...I looked at my fella and said "let's get out of here" , he answered me with "Yeah this is weird" the lady then was walking toward me and I said to her "that was really rude". I said to my guy "As if we're going to steal anything" ....she then said , REALLY loudly, " OH NO!! I WAS JUST MAKING IT EASY FOR YOU TO SHOP !!!" We just left . This is a store that we had visited each time we come to Fort Myers Beach...it has changed owners, but we still have purchased several hundred dollars worth of merchandise there each and every year for many years, too bad that I won't be going back again.

The service from the ladies behind the cash out counter is dismal. The selection is pretty good…read moresometimes but not so other days. The value on something's are ok: shoes, clothes but on quilts forget it. You might as well buy new at TJ Maxx. Many of the lamps are overpriced as well . All in all be aware of the cost of items at thrift shops. The items were donated but the prices don't reflect it.
